Our photographer took this incredible photo.

I am the bride from the wedding mentioned in the 1 star review. The venue owner was nothing but gracious to us and our families and friends that followed the rules and she shielded us from any issue that would have taken our attention away from our joy. Our guests said that was one of the best weddings they'd ever been to, and they were all impressed with the beauty of the venue. The owners ensured everything went smoothly, their staff were attentive and friendly, and Colby the DJ was so much fun! You barely even need decorations, the grounds are so beautiful, and she provides so many things to make your day easy and free of stress. The bridal suite and the grooms club were nothing but fantastic for us to get ready throughout the morning and afternoon, and a fantastic gourmet breakfast and lunch were provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and will have wonderful memories for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend any couple to get married here. And as long as you aren't breaking rules, you will be so happy you picked this venue.

The beautiful setting for our reception dinner.

I cannot rave enough about the Beecher Hill House & its staff. We had a perfect ceremony & wedding day customized just for us. The attention to detail was so welcoming & our day felt so personalized. The food - wow - just incredible. I have 0 complaints & look forward to our return to the BHH!

Our big moment at Beecher Hill.

Pam even knocked it outta the park and decorated the tables for our rehearsal as well as the cake table at the wedding!

I would recommend this place twice if I could…read more It is more glamping resort than hotel but it is a fantastic place to stay. Easy to get to (about seven easy minutes to downtown Leavenworth), great parking, beautiful grounds, nice and extremely clean cabins, very friendly service. More on the grounds: extremely quiet, dark and peaceful. The sound of the frogs and the fountain outside of our room was magic! Only complaint: the hot tub wasn't very hot. Will definitely return and consider this place as an additional great reason to visit the area.

High price for less than stellar accommodations. We were there (two adults) in Dec. just before…read moreChristmas. We waited too long to book at our favorite place. The only other place we found to be a dog friendly hotel with a vacancy was Sleeping Lady Lodge. We spent two nights for 500/night plus an additional 50/night for an under 10 pound dog. Be prepared to use a cart provided to get your stuff from the parking lot to your room, about 200 yards round trip for us. You get a map at check-in and there are a couple of maps along the trails to help you find your room. Pool appeared locked and the "Grotto" bar closed. You can grab a small cup of coffee at the office. If you want your room cleaned each day, they ask that you call and let them know. Run out of the four, one-cup Nescafé coffee pods they supply? You have to call them before 7am the next morning or come pick up what's left at the office. They tasted terrible to me. They do provide an electric teapot so if you bring instant coffee or tea, you can make your own. There is a small fridge but no microwave. No TV either, but that was okay with us. There is a broom so you can sweep your own floor. This time of year you will track in sand from the walkways if you come inside with your shoes on. Our room had a double bed and a twin. Down comforters on both but the beds were not very comfortable. On site breakfast buffet was an additional 25 per person when it's free at many other hotels in town. This is a nice place if you don't mind a rustic cabin type room with rickety furniture. Good water pressure and heat. Loved the heating rack in the bathroom to warm towels or dry clothing. No fan in bathroom so it gets humid in there if you shower or bathe and can be stinky if you...well, you know. Tub/shower/toilet in bathroom. Sink and mirror in sleeping area. Minimal seating (old swivel chair and lounge chair.) If you want a McDonalds-like egg McMuffin, coffee and/or a pastry for breakfast there is a little coffee shop by the main road. Otherwise, plan to drive 4 miles into town. Ditto for lunch and/or dinner. Bottom Line: You're not coming here to pay for the service or upscale accommodations (though you wouldn't know it from the price.) You're paying for the quiet, woodsy atmosphere the place provides, the dark sky at night, and the mountain surroundings which are beautiful.
