Two of the places I called never returned my request for a quote, one place only had time to book us at 9 pm on a Wednesday for one hour, and one place was much smaller than the Grange for about twice the price. The Grange met all of our requirements for our event. Tara was amazing to work with: super helpful, answered all questions quickly and professionally and made the planning for our event as stress-free as possible. I would definitely book with Tara and the Grange again if I was ever in need of a large space for an event.

We were blessed! Heidi (the owner) takes a lot of pride in her work at the venue. She was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions almost instantly. The venue includes decoration which heidi calls "the hobby lobby shop" it took so much stress off knowing I didn't have to spend more money on decorations I would never see or use again. Brides it is SO important to take lots of photos and videos. I bought things I didn't need to buy because the hobby lobby shop already had these items. I coordinated a couple extra visits to see the decor and Heidi didn't mind. (Thank you!!) because how can you decide out of all these beautiful antique pieces???! They were in such good condition and I loved having options. & DO NOT skip on a good coordinator. It is so important! It may seem like a high extra expense but it is worth it. I also loved how accommodating Heidi and Joe were for us. Joe is the muscles of this place he makes sure everything is set up so you don't have to. I had our ceremony in a spot no one has had before and they were able to do that effortlessly. We had 200 guest so I wanted to make sure everyone had enough room and by moving it out of the orchard into the field we were able to do so. & I'm so glad we did it was beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful day that we will be able to cherish forever. Thank you Brightside team for absolutely crushing it! The Venue was absolutely beautiful. We held our daughter and son in laws wedding here this weekend…read more9/27/2025. We had the whole venue booked for the wedding party and guest with RVs Friday through Sunday with ample room for the bridal party in two separate sleeping quarters. The ladies 1890 log cabin was cute and cozy and had lots of original character. The modern bunkhouse was open and airy and great for the groomsmen. The property has lots of parking for both guests for the day of and space for weekend RV guests. This venue has the most amazing green lawn area for an outdoor ceremony with mountain view woth a few different arch options for the alter should you choose to use one. A herd of deer even payed a visit each evening throughout the weekend. The bar and outdoor reception areas provide plenty of space and the barn for indoor festivities is spacious and beautiful. The best part of renting this venue, was working with John and Kathy. They are a mother son duo and they made the whole weekend run so smoothly and stress and worry free. They took care of all the behind the scenes details and were amazing to work with. It made my job as Mother of the Bride relaxing and enjoyable. I was able to soak in every minute and spend quality time with my daughter making this big event in her life the best ever. I would highly recommend checking this venue out if you are willing to travel from the west side of the mountains to this eastern Washington gem of a destination. We got so many compliments from our guests about this venue. John and Kathy, thank you so much for making this weekend extra special for our daughter and son in law, our families and our guests! First time to go fruit picking in Washington State. My mom was so happy, walking through the…read moreorchards, picking peaches, and then eating it. It was a warm day, so we left our dogs (who aren't allowed in the orchard which I completely appreciate) at a picnic table in the shade and no one bothered them. I got peach itch from catching the peaches in my arms when they fell off the tree. The lady showed me where to wash my arms off, but I couldn't get them off. Next time I'll make sure to wear a long shirt or bring packaging tape to get off the itchy fuzz. We went back to our hotel to shower and get the itch off, which was a relief. They had peaches, apricots, and pears available for harvest, but mom went crazy in the peach area so no pears for us that day. So glad we found out about this place. Will check if they have Christmas activities because this place is a lot of fun.

For our last day in Leavenworth, we decided to do something that screams "not in Texas"... apple…read morepicking! Enter Stutzman Ranch, a family owned orchard delivering peak September vibes on a sun kissed day. Pro tip: sneakers or hiking boots are a must. The orchard sits on a hill, and you'll get your steps in, believe me. Upon arrival, the signs lead you right to the warehouse where you check in. The big "Fruit in Season" board made it clear: apples and pears are the stars of the show. There is a $5 U-Pick minimum per person 12 years and over. You can bring your own basket or they'll handed you a cardboard box, and if you're feeling fancy, upon availability you can borrow a wagon. After a quick walk to the orchard entry, you're given the lowdown on which rows hold the goods. Families were out, kids running around, everyone on the hunt for Washington's crown jewels--apples. Though the grapes were almost done for the season, we still snagged a few sweet clusters. After we wrapped up our fruity treasure hunt, we headed back to settle up. Floyd and Betsy Stutzman, the lovely fourth-generation owners, greeted us again, this time with Charlie, their sweet pup. We chatted about our Texas roots and thanked them for keeping their slice of paradise so well-maintained. There's something satisfying about biting into a crisp Fuji apple you just picked yourself. Whether it's for a breakfast bite or paired with mimosas in the afternoon, it tastes like victory. Thanks, Stutzman Ranch, for the fresh harvest and hospitality!
