Nothing too exotic with this cider other than it's a straight up wonderfully tasting hard apple cider with just the right amount of sweetness which most importantly gives me the impression I'm drinking a cider and not a soda pop. This cider is alive and vibrant and just gives continued confirmation that this is an area of the state where the standards and quality of local cideries and apples are quite high to ensure a rewarding experience.

Our favorites were the cucumber and the blueberry basil both so refreshing and unique. If you're visiting Lake Chelan, this spot is definitely a must-try (especially since only a few places were open today, and we're so glad this was one of them!). They offer great tasting flights, plenty of parking, lots of space to relax, and it's very kid friendly. The bathrooms were clean, and the whole place felt comfortable and inviting. Steve and I tried of their ciders and we really liked it! The Forever Fuji Imperial cider is what we had and it was quite good! It has a hood apple flavor of course, robust in flavor actually. My tasting included pours of their pinot gris, rose, cabernet sauvignon, a Stemilt Creek cab franc and a bold "GST" red blend. They were all wonderful, but the pinot gris was the best I've ever had. No really - I'm already home in Bham and kicking myself for not getting more. The service was also top notch. Owner Cindy was so friendly, answering my questions and making me feel at home. I'll definitely be adding Archibald James to my winery rotation next time I'm in Leavenworth.

They switch up the types of ciders for the slushie machine, I think mine had a peach flavor and something else. We had some tastings of their regular cider too and it was all delicious. The flight was a little over $20, and we got five pours that were selected by the staff at the front desk. They chose great varieties -- a good mix of dry and sweet wines from different European countries, which made the tasting feel well-rounded. I liked that the staff brought the orders directly to the table instead of calling out numbers, especially since the place was pretty loud with all the commotion of people being seated. The layout was also nice: There is an upstairs and a downstairs, with upstairs set up for larger groups, and downstairs geared toward dates, or smaller parties of four or fewer. Luke warm pretzels, a very disappointing pizza that looks like a $5 frozen pizza from the store and retirement home apple cider. Despite all the negatives, they managed to make it even worse by taking forever to bring up the food. Not all at the same time either, but one item at a time and 10 mins in between each pretzel and pizzas after already waiting for half an hour for anything to arrive. Managed to screw up an order, too and when asked for another half of pizza to be boxed in so we can take it with us, they brought it to the table, not boxed and gave an attitude when we asked them to box it again for the second time. I saw a lot of tempting choices here and so I got a taster set so I wouldn't have to decide on just one cider. For my taster set I got the Peargatory, Chimera, Honey Bubbles and Cold Smoke. I liked the Peargatory a lot. I am often drawn to perry ciders often and this one was no exception in the matter. The Honey Bubbles was very good as well as it was more of a dry Rosé ciderbut with a little bit of sweetness. The Chimera was a cheery apple cider and that one was pretty good but a wasn't one of my favorites as was the Cold Smoke which came across heavier on my pallette. None of the ciders were bad, I just had some favorites. In fact in this part of Washington state I am not so sure you can go wrong with any cidery you go to. This tasting room is situated right in downtown Chelan.
