This place is a must for anyone looking for a wide variety of ciders to taste. The best of them, in…read moremy opinion, are the ones they brew themselves!! Like the Peargatory and the Honey Bubbles! My personal favorites....but if you're more of an IPA drinker, try their hopped cider! Another bonus, it's a great place to hang out whether it's Summer or Winter. We like to go in the Winter to play some Nintendo, check out their art and relax. Homelife can get a little boring lol so I'm grateful these guys rock it all year around!!

Steelhead Cider was on my list while I was doing a cidery run to the Chelan area last time I was…read moreover in that direction. I saw a lot of tempting choices here and so I got a taster set so I wouldn't have to decide on just one cider. For my taster set I got the Peargatory, Chimera, Honey Bubbles and Cold Smoke. I liked the Peargatory a lot. I am often drawn to perry ciders often and this one was no exception in the matter. The Honey Bubbles was very good as well as it was more of a dry Rosé ciderbut with a little bit of sweetness. The Chimera was a cheery apple cider and that one was pretty good but a wasn't one of my favorites as was the Cold Smoke which came across heavier on my pallette. None of the ciders were bad, I just had some favorites. In fact in this part of Washington state I am not so sure you can go wrong with any cidery you go to. This tasting room is situated right in downtown Chelan.

Great cider selections, and if you're looking for something special this is a great place to start…read more Staff is always helpful and you can't go wrong with any of their offerings. This is one of the best cider houses I have visited in WA. So go, and pick up a special cider to enjoy or give as a gift.

My friend really wanted to visit this spot in Leavenworth, specifically for their wine flights, and…read moreI see why. The flight was a little over $20, and we got five pours that were selected by the staff at the front desk. They chose great varieties -- a good mix of dry and sweet wines from different European countries, which made the tasting feel well-rounded. I liked that the staff brought the orders directly to the table instead of calling out numbers, especially since the place was pretty loud with all the commotion of people being seated. The layout was also nice: There is an upstairs and a downstairs, with upstairs set up for larger groups, and downstairs geared toward dates, or smaller parties of four or fewer. There is a clean bathroom, but it is located upstairs. Do not go downstairs to look for it because you will end up wandering toward the kitchen area lol We also got the schnitzel, which was uniquely hung -- something that I have not seen. It came with two different cheeses, and I really wish that had been labeled on the plate. Not a big issue, but I like to know exactly what I am eating. Meanwhile, the wine flights had a little written card on the side to specific which pour was what flavor. Maybe that it is me being picky, but it would have made the experience clearer and more organized. This spot felt like a dive bar, but much cleaner. It was not bad

I had an absolutely divine visit here today during my day in Leavenworth!Previously known just for…read morecider, Archibald James has only recently branched into the winemaking business and they've done a wonderful job. My tasting included pours of their pinot gris, rose, cabernet sauvignon, a Stemilt Creek cab franc and a bold "GST" red blend. They were all wonderful, but the pinot gris was the best I've ever had. No really - I'm already home in Bham and kicking myself for not getting more. The service was also top notch. Owner Cindy was so friendly, answering my questions and making me feel at home. I'll definitely be adding Archibald James to my winery rotation next time I'm in Leavenworth.

We were wrapping up our visit in Leavenworth and walking back to our vehicle when something…read morecompelled me to stop by this place. I am so glad we did! The cider is fantastic and the owner working there was wonderful and explained all of the ciders to us. Also--they had just got in a frozen slushie machine and I got a cider slushie and it was AMAZING. It was a perfect beverage for a hot day. I wish I would have taken a picture of it, so you will just have to take my word that it was incredible. They switch up the types of ciders for the slushie machine, I think mine had a peach flavor and something else. We had some tastings of their regular cider too and it was all delicious. I wish I had more room in my suitcase to have bought more bottles. They had one that she likened to a champagne for the way it was made--it was drier and very good. Not like other ciders I've tasted. Wish I would have got that bottle too! Oh well now I just have to come back to Leavenworth :)
