They had a tasting flight of their own wines (Dead Crow) and another flight of well-selected wines, both of which were great. They also have quite a few good bottles for purchase off their list. This glorious gem of a place is a tasting room (for Dead Crow wines), a wine bar (offering a select number of master-crafted wines by the glass), and a bottle shop (filled with an impressively extensive list of options from the $20s to the low $100s). It offers something for every taste, including non-drinkers, and if you like wine and are anywhere around Wenatchee, this is a must visit. We felt welcomed from the moment we entered Sabrina's casually elegant and comfortable establishment until we left, floating on bubbles like we had been fêted. She's engaging and passionate about what she offers, and she is a brilliant wine talker who knows her champagne and bubbles (and if I may, has great taste in both, but I'm biased because she likes a lot of the same profiles I do). She takes good care of her customers, juggling between tastings seamlessly, keeping tastes poured and orders filled. The space feels intimate but still spacious enough that we weren't crammed next to others, and I love the color scheme. If I didn't live an hour and a half away, I would spend waaaay to much time here. So, go enjoy for those of us who can't!.

Watermill offers pours by-the-glass of bottles that they have already opened for the day. The white wine recommended to me by our server was their Chardonnay, which was light, crisp and refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. This was the perfect stopping point on a longer road trip. I would love to come back for a full tasting experience.

Bottles of wine on the wall compliments a huge table that seemed to be cut of tree got my attentio We came here on a Saturday afternoon. The place was nice and quiet. Plenty of parking on the street so it was easy for us. We ordered flights of white, red and cider and a cheese plate. Ciders are pretty easy to drink, perfect for those who wants something light, fruity and easy to drink. Wished it stayed $15/flight but I guess I can understand why they have to raise their price now. Red flight, everything is decent. But the most memorable one is the Hallowed Stones Cab! The taste is so complex! Notes of some smoked meat, flowers and dried orange peel... i need a whole bottle of it to get the full experience of it! The cheeseplate has some very decent cheeses that compliment the wine! The applewood smoked cheese pairs so well with the merlot oh my gawd! Our server was friendly! When we first arrived it was slow so we get to talk and took our time. But slowly it got busier and the entire house has only her at the front so we felt a little overlooked and we didn't even get our water refilled the entire time. Not her fault since the place got busy and she has no help (it's on the business owner!) Would come back again next time in town!

After perusing the assorted yummy veggies being sold at the outdoor part of the market, the hubby noticed a car show was also going on there, too. (Note: is my spouse the only one with a near superhuman ability to sniff out a car show?) Anyway, I used this as an opportunity to check out the indoor area (it's called Pybus Market), which was housed in a renovated old steel mill and reminded me a little of San Francisco's Ferry Building (but without the insane prices). As I sampled a lovely gouda at the resident cheese shop, I noticed the lovely wine bar next door to it... and this, my friends, is how I found Jones of Washington. This intimate little tasting room features wines by the bottle or glass, or for a $5 tasting fee you can sample up to six of their fine wines. The fee is refundable with any bottle purchase. I chose three whites and three reds, with bottle prices ranging from $10 to $50, so there's pretty much a price range for everyone. I settled on buying a bottle of their sweet (but not *too* sweet) bottle of their Riesling. Well, wouldn't you know it, they were actually having a killer special on Riesling by the case so I ended up with 12 bottles to take home! The service could not have been friendlier here, by the way. They also sell various wine-related merchandise as well.

The wines are as solid as ever (big fan of their new releases), but the real standout was the guy pouring. Super friendly, chill, and made the whole experience feel easy and fun. He is very knowledgeable about their vineyards and wines, which is much appreciated. They don't have a set tasting flight, but rather "whatever is open" at the time. We had a wide variety from their Blanc Franc, which we loved, to a rich Cab Sauv. The bottle prices are wide ranged and well priced. They have a bites menu, but we didn't try any of the food. They have musicians play on some evenings. They produce whites, roses and reds so it's a great place for couples and groups who have varying preferences.
