Manchester city vs. Chelsea FA Cup semifinals
    Tony H.

I came here for the 2023 semifinals between Manchester City vs some chick named Chelsea. Amazing atmosphere, spectacular stadium with color coded sections so you could easily find what part of the stadium you need to enter. The public transit was a breeze to get here. From London I think we got here in less than an hour with a few transfers. The train drops you off at Wembley park right by all the restaurants and the stadium. The only downside about the soccer game is they don't allow alcohol in the seats of the stadium due to England soccer fans well deserved reputation for being Twits during games and acting like jackasses when they drink. So I ended up spending part of the first half watching the game at the concession stand TVs until I finished my beer and was allowed to go to my seat.

One big negative: They say you can bring in empty disposable water bottles to refill at water stations, but (1) you can't bring in the bottle with the cap; and (2) they only have like 1 refill station for every 5,000 people. So, that's the one line that is just unbearable to wait in. We ended up buying water instead.

Came for Taylor! The staff was highly organized when it came to this concert. They did a great job at managing crowds and keeping us safe. The staff ensured us concert goers were hydrated during the event which I highly appreciated. When fans in the concert felt ill the staff quickly responded. The only problem I had was upon entry they split the lines and the order in which we arrived became slightly unraveled. Also. The bathrooms were gross. But that wasn't enough to outshine the excellent job they did!

It's big, but easy to navigate. Was here to see AC DC, and it was packed! We were right in the middle of the stadium and could hear and see so very well. I did not eat or drink with the public, we were in a VIP area and had those provided and it was grand. I'm even talking like a Brit! Toot a loo

We attended a Coldplay Concert at this stadium tonight. Despite the concert being sold out, we had a fabulous experience without feeling overwhelmed by crowds. The stadium had plenty of staff on hand, which really helped. There were plenty of bathrooms, which helped to keep the lines down. I really liked the stairs into the stadium, because they weren't as steep as many venues. The tube station is literally adjacent to the stadium, which was awesome. The staff even let us bring in a bottle of water, which many stadiums don't allow. The stadium feels modern and functional and is beautiful We had an outstanding experience.

Pretty unfortunate that we didn't get to go here for a game but we were able to take the stadium tour. This is an absolute beautiful stadium. The fact that it holds 90,000 people and doesn't look enormous on the inside is super insane. We were able to walk down to the pitch but not get on to the field. The acoustics in the stadium are nuts, we were able to scream from the middle tier seating and hear the echoing throughout the entire stadium. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to see some great history on display as well as enter the locker rooms and the press boxes. This was a very cool experience, I'd recommend it to anyone who is a fan of soccer, football, music, boxing, wrestling etc.

I saw Harry Styles at Wembley Stadium and had a great time! There are a ton of merch, food, and drink tables inside the stadium which helped pass the time before the concert began. It was a bit of a hike to get from the front of the stadium to my specific entrance for my seat though. Also, the process of leaving to get on the tube after the concert was horrendous. Basically shoulder-to-shoulder standstill human traffic. But the crowd control played One Direction over the speaker to appease us, so that was nice.

Beautiful Stadium! I only went there once, for American NFL, when the Oakland Raiders played the Seattle Seahawks in 2018. Coming from America to London, I had it in my mind, that this stadium would be amazingly pretty. And it was. I didn't care where my seat was, but luckily for me, we were able to find seats in the 200 sections, in Club Wembley. Plenty of restrooms, a huge plus. Very comfortable seats. Very clean stadium. I did not expect the stadium to be so full, so loud. But it was full of energy and good vibes. As a Oakland Raiders' fan, even though we lost badly that night. It was an amazing experience, I was just so happy to be there. Everyone was so friendly,The staffs were excellent, they're all so helpful. Very polite with a friendly smile. I highly recommend just going here for the experience. Any match, any events.

I took a tour of Wembley Stadium and was blown away. Wembley Stadium is probably the pinnacle of England engineering. Everything is designed to give the England National Team an advantage. Sound carries extremely well here. Our tour group was able to echo sound around the entire facility. I would highly recommend taking a tour if you have time. I just wish I had been able to see a game here.

My first "FOOTBALL" game! Britain versus Switzerland! -Alcohol...they didn't sell alcohol! I guess they do this on certain games to minimize riots and hooligans. Check first, and drink have some drinks beforehand. -We got the cheap seats in this 80,000 seat stadium, but the view was still good. -Cardio...unlike American Football, there's no long commercial breaks between each play. These athletes go non stop for two 45 minute sessions of cardio. -Organized Chaos: The crowd was about 76K total, but it surprisingly relatively quick and efficient getting to our seats and back to the tube station afterwards. The crowds were huge! I'm not into sports, but this was still a fun experience for an American tourist...though next time I will drink heavily before hand.

    Wonderful Wembley, Coldplay tonight! 6/19/16

What a stadium! Easy access from the Tube and various train lines, the Cheltanham primarily. I was here on the Sunday afternoon when Coldplay was scheduled to be there. Somehow I just couldn't bring myself to pay the $175 for a general admission standing room ticket. Glad I didn't because it ended up raining that night. It's like a city surrounding the stadium with a mall like area that has lots of shopping at outlet mall type stores. Many restaurants of all types. I would have tried the Iguana if I had more time. The menu and accommodation looked outstanding. There is also a large Hilton & Holiday Inn near by.

The Club Wembley membership comes with access to all major events at Wembley Stadium, including cup finals and England matches, of course, this excludes Tottenham Hotspur matches who temporarily play here (which seems like forever) while their new stadium is being constructed. This is another part I don't like, they rarely offer the opportunity for just one game, basically forcing the fan to pay those extortionate sums of money for games which they might not be able to, or even want to attend. Wembley Stadium has a huge capacity of 90,000 with a big proportion reserved for the Club Wembley hospitality, once again this means it can be harder to get tickets especially for big events without paying these sums of money again, once again pricing the working class fan out of football matches. Club Webley is mainly around level two of the stadium, of which I'd even say the views aren't much better than elsewhere in the stadium such as Category One seats, or even lower down categories (cheaper again), I've regularly sat on Level One, behind the goal at Wembley or in front of one of the penalty boxes to the halfway line, and I'd even go as far as to say that the view from these seats was better, as well as the atmosphere with Club Wembley sometimes banning club colours meaning you're sat in a soulless, boring area of the stadium. Nothing more than a single one-star rating will do for Club Wembley, which shows the greed of modern football more than most - It's about time Wembley Stadium do away with this, for the food of the national stadium.

Rawr…read more My first-hand experience of this is that my friend got totally ripped off when he got us tickets to watch an England match from these seats. They're literally a dozen times more expensive than the other seats. And honestly, having been in both, I don't think there is an enormous difference. Club Wembley is just another example of what a rip off Wembley Stadium is. The seats are insanely, obscenely overpriced, but anything to get money from the sports-hungry masses. You have to pay to be a member of this area, and only members can buy the tickets (which are about 5 times more than you probably think they are). To become a member you have to pay thousands of pounds per year, by the way. As a guest, when someone else is paying, these seats are great, but they're no greater than the cheaper (but not cheap) seats elsewhere in the stadium, and when I heard how much it cost to have seats here... I think I puked a little.

Loftus Road Stadium is definitely a throw-back to the more modest days of the sport. Compared to Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium (review here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-emirates-stadium-london#hrid:nvZxRYSY_mKiQndnHx2iQw), Loftus Road is like a backyard shed. It's old, not at all modern, and for a Premier League ground, quite small. But it also has immense character, is very intimate, and incredibly approachable. One of the great things about the smaller clubs is how accessible the players are as well. If you get to Loftus Road early you can catch many of the players walking from the player parking lot into the stadium, and most of them are happy to stop to sign an autograph or snap a quick photo with you. Try doing that at Manchester United or Chelsea! QPR is a fantastic little club with an incredible history. Hopefully they'll be in the top flight for years to come. You can dress up or not. They leave it up to you. The tickets for my show were also surprisingly cheap given how nice it was - almost half of what I would have paid for the same at the ROH - so booking in advance is highly recommended. The thing that made my night here unforgettable was the unique setup they had to showcase the Cinderella ballet. Instead of your typical stage where you're sitting in front of it watching a "flat" scene, here you would be sitting in a curved amphitheater-style audience, watching a carousel-style ballet happening beneath you. It was almost like stepping into a wonderland where even the scenery came to life. The light and prop work were unparalleled, and the only downside to it was that it was so spectacular, it oftentimes distracted from the actual dancers. Another unique aspect of this ballet was that, instead of having all of their dancers coming in from the same doors behind the stage, many of them came in through the same doors you would come through if you were sitting in the stalls; which meant that you would get to see the dancers up close as they were making their entrances and exits. Some even played a bit with the audience as they were doing so, which added a bit of fun to the show. There are small bars and restrooms located very conveniently throughout the theatre, so it's never too much of a hassle to get your drinks and use the loo in between acts. If you're sitting in one of the Grand Tier boxes, you can also order from your seat and have the bubbles come to you. The hall itself is easy to get to. However, once the show is over, it becomes absolute mayhem trying to get out of there and hail a ride. The closest tube station is South Kensington, which requires a short bus ride to get to. And, the buses become overloaded after only a few short minutes. But hey, no place is perfect.
