Stamford Bridge Stadium was not too shabby. The stadium tour provided was shorter than anticipated but the staff were very knowledgable and helpful. I gave it four stars because the day before we did Man City Stadium Tour and it was over the top (not comparing clubs, or taking soccer teams into account, just straight comparing stadiums and Etihad I gave 5 stars).

Great tour. Short but sweet, locker rooms pale in comparison to locker rooms around other major sports. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Tour ending in the souvenir shop is so American or Disney like. Only downside along with the astronomical pricing.

Welcome to my mecca. My love, passion and pandemic saving home-field. They could have pooped all around the stadium and I would have ignored it for the symbol that it is. My Chelsea-dom comes in more recent years. It is easy for me to criticize American football stadiums because they are so readily available to me. But seeing what I only know on TV is like seeing Rudy see Notre Dame's stadium in the movie. I was like a kid going through. Seeing all the kits of away players and definitely home players. Seeing the press room and sitting where my favorite players sit for games. I hate to leave this review on a day the gaffer is sacked. But I look forward to the future. And I will always be a Blue!!

Stamford Bridge is one of my favourite club stadiums in London, despite being one of the few remaining stadium's from the 1800s, it still stands its ground, looking good, with some new features. I prefer Stamford Bridge to some of the newer stadiums across London, I feel it has that spark which The Emirates and New White Hart Lane will never have. Home of Chelsea FC, it is in the Fulham area of London, which is adjacent to the London borough of Chelsea, the ground is in a great location for public transport, with Fulham Broadway Station nearby, there is also a mini shopping centre here, so you could get a non-alcoholic drink after a game if you're not a huge drinker - Starbucks, Sainsbury's and others are available just a couple of minutes away. It is also served by multiple bus routes and tram lines across London. I was surprised to hear the capacity is currently just over 40,000 - I would think they would plan to expand this however possible in future to meet demand. The dark Chelsea colour blue and their achievements are statued around the stadium. I visited on a non-match-day, but the ground still had a vibe too, with a combination of tourists and Chelsea fans visiting the stadium, for the club shop and regular tours. 4* - One of my favourite stadiums in London, I look forward to hopefully attending a match here in the near future whenever my, Manchester City play here next.

Went on a stadium tour & museum visit at Stamford Bridge. I am glad I went to see the stadium as I am from the U.S. and probably would not have a chance to attend a game due to location and price. The museum was very nice and you can visit before or after the stadium tour. However, was underwhelmed with our tour guide of the stadium. He provided a lot of basic information about the stadium that most people knew about and not enough interesting facts or history. So I would recommend doing a stadium tour if you are looking just to at least go to Stamford Bridge to say that you've been there if price is an issue to attend a game. Hopefully you will get a better tour guide than I had that will make it more worthwhile and interesting.

Lots of places to capture pictures!

Excellent stadium, located in London. Be sure to purchase tickets through Viagogo and select the VIP tickets, which includes pre-game lunch, half time snack and post game light meal in the Champion club. They offer special seating, sheltering you from the sunlight and rain. There is a special hallway from your seats back to the dining hall.

I took a tour of Stamford Bridge and was surprised by the intimacy of it. For such a wealthy club, it's a small ground. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the club and getting to see Chelsea kits hung up in the locker room was cool. They end the tour right at the gift shop, and I would expect nothing less from Chelsea.

As a Chelsea fan it's a must! The team store has some nice silverware to take pictures with and great section.

Very nice and organized experience. Pretty easy to get in and get out. The staff seemed quite friendly and of course..perfect location.

Took the Stamford Bridge stadium tour; Eklim and Gareth made the tour fun, interesting and had an answer for every question asked! They knew their club history and they were patient with all the children! I've never took this tour prior, but now that I did, I believe I got the two best tour guides. The only reason why I don't give it a 5 stars is because I'm a Red Devil! Thanks for such good time!

The magnificence of the circular auditorium building cannot be understated, and its natural acoustics are nothing short of spectacular. Not only does the Royal Albert Hall host classical music performances, but it's also a popular venue for mainstream artists from all over the world, From Kensington Palace, it's a lovely walk through Kensington Gardens to the Royal Albert Hall. This was opened by Queen Victoria in 1871, and is named in memory of her husband, Albert, who had died six years earlier. Purpose-built as an entertainment space, today the hall is most famous for hosting the annual Proms - an eight-week-long series of classical music concerts and events. It also hosts all sorts of other events, from film screenings to tennis, so there's always something going on.

Next…read moreto the Royal Opera House, it is my absolute favorite for watching ballet, as it has just the right amount of poshness to make for an extravagant evening out without being overly fussy about it. You can dress up or not. They leave it up to you. The tickets for my show were also surprisingly cheap given how nice it was - almost half of what I would have paid for the same at the ROH - so booking in advance is highly recommended. The thing that made my night here unforgettable was the unique setup they had to showcase the Cinderella ballet. Instead of your typical stage where you're sitting in front of it watching a "flat" scene, here you would be sitting in a curved amphitheater-style audience, watching a carousel-style ballet happening beneath you. It was almost like stepping into a wonderland where even the scenery came to life. The light and prop work were unparalleled, and the only downside to it was that it was so spectacular, it oftentimes distracted from the actual dancers. Another unique aspect of this ballet was that, instead of having all of their dancers coming in from the same doors behind the stage, many of them came in through the same doors you would come through if you were sitting in the stalls; which meant that you would get to see the dancers up close as they were making their entrances and exits. Some even played a bit with the audience as they were doing so, which added a bit of fun to the show. There are small bars and restrooms located very conveniently throughout the theatre, so it's never too much of a hassle to get your drinks and use the loo in between acts. If you're sitting in one of the Grand Tier boxes, you can also order from your seat and have the bubbles come to you. The hall itself is easy to get to. However, once the show is over, it becomes absolute mayhem trying to get out of there and hail a ride. The closest tube station is South Kensington, which requires a short bus ride to get to. And, the buses become overloaded after only a few short minutes. But hey, no place is perfect.

Worst football experience ever. Family was very excited to attend first Chelsea match on trip to…read moreLondon. Bought premium tickets with food and beverage including in the Rose and Ball club. Pregame communication was great. We arrived many hours early as suggested. They had communicated to me about dietary restrictions and indicated they were able to provide gluten free food days prior. The trouble began when we were dropped off. There were no signs to the Rose and Ball club. We asked one guard and were sent to the opposite side of the stadium from the actual location. We asked another employee and were sent to a different club inside the hotel. We continued to ask for staff help and no one knew where the club was. 30 minutes after arrival or longer we asked the 7th person who was actually an employee of the visiting club who was clearing an area for the visiting club to arrive..he initially said he didn't know then a few minutes later chased us down and said he heard found out for us and pointed us in the right direction. Well, at least the visiting team staff was helpful. Well went to the club for the "premium" experience and it was awful. By this time (about 2 hours before the match) there was no place to sit. It was Very Overcrowded, uncomfortably so!!! We tried numerous times to get help finding or obtaining gluten free food. Each time, our initial interaction with staff was friendly and they wanted to help but of the 5 staff members we asked for help, only the last one returned. All others went to talk to a manager and never returned. The people working the food stations were clearly scrambling and very apologetic that they couldn't help. They said there was a QR code that could be scanned for ingredients for each dish but that often didn't work as most people can't get a good cell signal in the overcrowded area. We could not get a good signal. The workers said they used to have paper labels but stopped doing that and guests now struggle and they need to go back to the old system. The staff and the guests we're visibly uncomfortable standing shoulder to shoulder in a room where you could barely move your arms to try to eat and drink while you stood there feeling like a sardine smashed in a can. One staff member complained that this was ridiculous. He said they do this every match. They grossly oversell access to the club b to maximize revenue and the majority of the guests stand around uncomfortably and the staff is put in a position where they can't possibly provide good service nor help people. Well, I happened to agree. It was an awful match day experience. So very disappointing. I would never buy a Rose and Ball premium experience again.

It was awesome! Our guide, Raymond, was fantastic. You could hear his passion for the team and for the sport in everything he said, from the history of the stadium to the knowledge of each player. He was very engaging and outgoing with our small group of 8. I would recommend this tour!

The event is huge: over the week, the festival gets over 65,000 visitors, drawn by the prospect of over 450 real ales, and a growing selection of the very best ciders, and specialist lagers from Germany, Belgium and the Czech Republic, to name a few. New in 2007 is a stand featuring ales for vegetarians, coeliacs and others with specialist dietary needs. There's plenty of food available, (with the emphasis on good-value pub-type grub, rather than gastronomy), and a selection of bands (mostly jazz, but including classical!) for entertainment over the week. There are also stalls selling ale-related memorabilia - beer glasses, beer towels, books, t-shirts and the like. The event draws a huge range of people, from all walks of life and all ages. It's not just a male, middle-aged event by any means - about a third of attendees are women, and there are also meetings for CAMRA's different groups, including LAGRAD (lesbians and gay men). The whole thing is very good humoured and enjoyable. ************************** An update for 2008, having just attended on the first day! It's still as big as ever, with over 450 real ales again this year. The layout is also improved on last year so it is easier to move around, and there are plenty of seating areas, too. There are some excellent discounts on CAMRA merchandise, and a slightly wider range of food, with Indian food stands adding to the mix this year. The Champion Beer of Britain was named yesterday as Alton's Pride brewed by Triple fff Brewery in Hampshire - a small, independent craft brewery which has won several prizes before, but not the big one! The evenings are busier and the £10 entry fee is a little high but it's the biggest beer festival on these shores so I'd suggest putting it on your to do list. There's plenty of food available from regular stuff to Ostrich burgers. I had some over-priced (£6.50) but brilliant Haddock and chips. I'll squeeze in one more visit before it's all over and start counting the days until the next one. farewell, Ian
