Pretty hit or miss with quality of care, They can be…read morehelpful sometimes, but definitely not the kind of care you'd expect from the ONLY Hospital in town. Alot of times they will completely dodge caring for patients either by judging the situation (you can hear them in the hallway mocking you, right before they walk in to your room) or just that they do not want to work or fix a small problem. Just because something isn't that severe, does not mean the patient needs no care! Next time do your job ! I would have dropped wellspan many years ago if that wasn't the only provider in this town. They miss the big problems as well.

Hospital staff and customer service were told about incidents. Doctors negative report on patient prevented patient from getting proper help elsewhere after she left the hospital. Patient died. I recommend not going to this hospital!!!!!!

We went there yesterday with my mother, after eating lunch at a nice little place in the same strip mall (see my next review). Seriously, every store should use this place as an example.

Well the physicians assistant diagnosed me with the flu no further test was done in my self-pay price was $195 when I asked the lady why it was the extra $45 instead of 150 she basically told me well it's never actually $150 it's always $195 minimum discounted down to about $150 but then for the PA to see you it's right back up to the $200. So two stars for being so dishonest to everyone that walks through the door they should tell people upfront it's $195 minimum $150 should never be mentioned.

Do not go to this hospital if you value your life!! The ER…read moreis staffed with Doctors that obviously do not care about solving problems they just throw all kinds of lab work and diagnostic tests and hope something sticks. They have NO clinical or critical thinking skills. And they plop very ill patients in the waiting room for HOURS so they don't have to turnover a room. Lazy. HIPPA and Patients Bill of Rights totally violated. There's so much but here's the highlights: 8/14/2026 I was there for chest pressure & pain, coughing and a large hiatal hernia that rendered my stomach almost completely in my chest pressing against my heart and lungs. Also putting pressure on my great vessels (aorta/ IVC). The doctor ignored an abnormal ECG and lab work that was grossly abnormal. They didn't consider me an "emergency". My family was mortified and felt helpless. Drs. Fraley and Sandlin were horrible. They were patronizing and told me:"It's JUST a hernia." My primary care said: "Yeah, they really need to improve." ALSO, Fraley put down that I left after getting pain meds. Insinuating that I was a drug seeker to cover her ass. I was 30 years on the clinical floor. I'm not the one to mess with. DO NOT GO TO GETTYSBURG HOSPITAL!!

I am deeply concerned by the conduct and level of care provided by the third-shift Emergency…read moreDepartment staff. In my experience, the professionalism, compassion, and attentiveness expected in a hospital setting were severely lacking. I found Dr. Renee Sandlin to be dismissive and unkind, and it appeared that patients' concerns were not treated with the seriousness and dignity they deserve. It was particularly troubling to witness behavior that came across as mocking or insensitive toward individuals in vulnerable medical situations. Rather than prioritizing patient care, the atmosphere seemed focused on processing patients quickly and generating billing. As a result of this experience, I no longer feel safe or confident seeking medical treatment through WellSpan. I would rather travel to the next town and receive care through UPMC, where I believe my health and well-being would be treated with greater professionalism and respect.

This place does so many…read morethings right, including: (1) the ease of making a same-day online appointment; (2) a convenient location with adequate parking; (3) a modern and clean facility with a friendly receptionist, a water bottle filling station, and complementary tissues / masks / water / snacks; and (4) competent medical staff and doctors who really do seem like they enjoy their job. They really seem to go above and beyond at this place. For example, after the medical assistant took my vitals and exited the room, I started coughing / hacking uncontrollably. She heard me and came back in and proactively offered me one of their free bottled waters, which I very much appreciated. Also, when the PA/doctor later came in and I told her my symptoms and how I had tried to self-treat with some old Rx meds I had on hand (on the recommendation of my mom, who is also a nurse), she actually commended me for doing that, re-upped my Rx, and told me to keep going. Although it was no fun to be sick right before the December holidays, this place made treating that sickness less stressful than the typical urgent care. I give this place 5 stars -- maybe even 6!
