He accused me of being addicted to pain killers on the next visit, then acknowledged that I had no access to pain killers. (He was fired. Fancy that.) Sure, Keystone can get you in and out; but they can't and don't offer much by way of personal or preventative care. If you don't have insurance, mention it when you get to the billing counter. Keystone offers a discount for the uninsured. Also, if you need to see a doctor URGENTLY but not ER URGENTLY, call at 7:30a when they open and request a same-day. Ask nicely, and the receptionist will probably take pity and give you an appointment. But only if you are nice. (I'm serious.)

I filled out a form explaining the results I was hoping for. As I was filling out the form, a gentleman came out after his float and, when his wife asked him if it helped his chronic back pain, he told her he wasn't feeling any pain at all! He looked stunned. Then he asked if he could come every week! One of the owners took me into a room with a nice stand up shower and a big pod filled with skin-temperature water filled with epsom salt. She explained how everything worked and left. Once I showered with their unscented shampoo and body wash, I climbed into the pod, put in the provided ear plugs and closed the door of the hatch. I floated for one hour in the dark (my preference because you can leave the lights on if you want) to experience sensory deprivation. When the hour was over, the lights in the pod came on and a soft voice on an intercom in the pod told me my hour was completed. I got a discount for being a first time customer and went home feeling relaxed. That night, I slept better than I have since having kids!! And I was super calm for almost two weeks after my float. For someone with anxiety, it was like a vacation from my body and brain!

Very reassuring to affirm the pain that had once been dismissed has an explanation. Two quick adjustments later and months of pain was gone within seconds. Therefore, I tried to share my concerns directly with Dr. Wagner via email, but I received a letter of dismissal without any discussion of my questions and concerns. I would NOT recommend the Wagner Centre based on my implant experience. I was prompted by her office for a comment on social media and felt I needed to warn others about what they might encounter, particularly the cost. Her office staff was friendly and the service was prompt but the rest of my care was concerning. I was so concerned about what happened that I decided to seek care in a different office for my implant. This difficulty has delayed my care and forced me to find another implant provider, but the final cost of my implant will be less than half of what Dr. Wagner was proposing to charge! I observed three things that were particularly concerning. Firstly, Dr. Wagner failed to review my old records and imaging before demanding more imaging. Secondly, she repeated examinations that my primary dentist had just performed without reviewing my records, or discussing it with me, and then charge me for these services. Thirdly, I was frustrated by demands for my credit card number by phone before I could schedule my first appointment. I mentioned my concern about the unsafe nature of this practice and offered to bring my credit card to the office, but was told my appointment would be canceled unless I complied. Giving credit card numbers by phone is a recognized, unsafe, business practice.
