I came in on a Saturday evening after a downpour around 6:30pm so it was fairly empty. I was seated quickly. I came in for a gel pedicure. It started off fine until the lady asked if I wanted my nails clipped. I said yes, every toe besides the pinky. As she grabbed the clippers, I looked down at my phone and she went straight for the pinky! She clamped the clippers down and i Immediately pulled my foot back. I said, "I said not the pinky." She said oh oh sorry. Then continued. Then she didn't want to clip the big toe and I had to ask her to do it. It was annoying because she kept just wanting to file. They came the foot file. This woman started scraping the side of my big toe really rough. Its like she was trying to get down to the bone. It wasn't that long but it's like she out all her effort into it. She scraped so much of my skin off. The next day it was so painful. I had to put ointment and a bandaid on them. Finally the last issue was that a portion at the bottom of some toes like the pinky were painted all the way. There are parts of blank nail sticking out. This was not the best experience, and I'm pretty bummed about it. read more

I was in need of a regular manicure and pedicure, so I gave Well Show a call. I thought I'd called the Steinway location, but realized once I got to Well Show on Steinway that I was wrong. I'd never been to the Broadway location as it's a bit further from where I live, but I'd made the appointment, so I hustled over there to get it done. They were definitely busy and near closing time, but I was happy they were able to accommodate me. My pedicure was comprehensive and relaxing, but I'm a little let down about the quality of my manicure, specifically the polish. I was there past closing so I totally get wanting to wrap things up, but my nail tech bumped my thumb and instead of fixing it, painted over it so now it's bumpy looking and looks like it'll probably chip in the coming days. It also took almost two hours for this manicure and pedicure to be done, which again, super happy they were able to accommodate me but in hindsight I should've realized I was booking way too close to closing time and picked a different day. read more

I went to the Broadway location & this salon gave my nails the best shape I've ever seen! Other nail salons have done a sloppy job, or have even complained about my nail shape. I got a gel manicure. WiWi took great care to shape my nails and did such a wonderful job that after 3 weeks there is still no chipping. I'm already planning my next set! The salon has a cute modern interior that I loved as well. I paid $65 total for the gel manicure ($45) and design ($20) as well as tip on top of that. read more

Quality, Service Requested, Employees refuse to disclose who owner is and when they will be at the salon. Nail tech/Manager did whatever she wanted rather than what I asked for. The result was an incorrect color base, uneven coloring and filing on several nails, and dealing with arguing back and forth at both the Broadway and Steinway location. I went to the Broadway location after being dissatisfied with the Steinway location- wanting an entirely different nail tech. They claimed they cannot do UV gel fills at Broadway. The man I spoke with and showed all the mistakes to wanted to argue with me about it to avoid making or suggesting corrections. After it was clear that I would not cave in or disappear, he relented and agreed to call the original nail tech /manager at Steinway to explain the issue after leaving the salon and talking to her outside on the sidewalk. Since they always hide the identity of the owner, they send dissatisfied customers to the manager at Steinway- the same person who is making all the errors. She was not happy to see me return for a re-do, but to charge nearly $100, the work should be immaculate! She argued with me about the mistakes then in a disgruntled way said she would re-do it like she was doing me a huge favor. There is still a major color discrepancy on 3 nails- but I gave up arguing about it because when there is no skill/inclination toward the craft and no interest in learning how to improve the approach, the nail tech's results will always look like an amateur's first day on the job. I'll never go back here- the price is outrageous for what you receive and the workers are unprofessional and insufferable. The "owner" is conveniently nowhere to be found. The manager who is designated to fix unsatisfactory work is the very person who performs it and argues with the client to avoid redoing anything. Even after the attitude-filled redo, there are three glaring mistakes. read more

Mia and Zora is literally the bests their attention to detail is insane. They filed and shape me and my friends nails perfectly. I do square and my friend does almond. I opted to get an SNS powder manicure. I chose a very light pink color to go with everything. I loved how they did it without even drilling anything. It was thin and really smooth. Very rude customer service which clearly lets you know they don't welcome your patronage. I was a client of this place for a really long time in a very consistent basis. Last time I went was at the end of November 2025 to get cat eye gel. I decided to give my nails a break (after getting them done for a long time every 2-3 weeks) and called to make an appointment end of March for April 1st. I never received a text confirming the appointment so I called before my appointment on 4/1 and I was told I didn't have one. I told the woman who answered that I called the day before and maybe it was booked for the next day but she said there was nothing. I tried to book another appointment and at some point she mentioned I never got an appointment because I would book appointments and was a no show. I told her that was a lie and to let me know when was the last time her system shows I was a no show. She got very defensive and rude and hanged up on me. Love this new location and happy to see Wellshow thriving! This wellshow has the same magic as the Steinway location. The set up is very similar including the nail bar. Same exceptional service and customer service. I included this in my review of their other location too, but I absolutely love that they hand file here (for gel and SNS). They have a policy you can come back if it's chipped free of charge within a certain period of time. Very clean and relaxed. Great color selection. Love that they use Zoya products! This review is for powder gel. I've been going her for the last 3 months and I am not happy with the quality after a week or two it started lifting. The way they clean your nails are awesome but the end result is not for a long run. With the old nail salon i go to my powder gel usually last 3-4 weeks. I just want to try this new salon because it's 2 blocks away from me. They are also a bit pricey and they doesn't do nail art on top of powder gel. If you use 3 different color they will charge you $5 more. I don't think I'll go back here again or will recommend them to my friends. read more

I walked in wanting to get a manicure. There was no customers and 3 nail techs standing around. One took me and sat me down. She cut my nails, pushed my cuticles back dry, did not soak my fingers, slapped some cream on my hands and finished. A very shitty job. I asked for a buff and shine. I literally walked out of there with my nails less shiny than when I walked it. Terrible job. She literally did my manicure within 15 minutes. I am very disappointed. My nails look great and the quality of the gel is great but the woman doing my nails cut me too much while cutting my cuticles on my pointer finger and it started bleeding a lot. She said sorry and put some powder on it. I used to go to a place in the UES before this and this has never happened to me before so I didn't question it. When I went to pay, there was very visibly dried blood around the outline of my nail and the guy saw it and looked shocked. Still paid full price. Since then, my cuticle has been in pain and it got swollen. I've been putting a bandaid on just to avoid anything touching it and causing more pain. Honestly, it's been looking the same for the past few days. Seems like it got infected. Very disappointed in this place because I had high hopes. Now I'm worried about this infection getting worse and if I may have to see a doctor and get antibiotics. Terrible. Still had me pay full price seeing the damage and didn't tell me of any special care to do at home to help it. read more
