There's a small obstacle course for the pups and plenty of water troughs, but I'm not sure how to fill them with fresh water. The issue with those is that dogs tend to lay in there, and the water becomes undrinkable -- which they're dogs it's whatever but I wish there were bowls or fountains instead. You should be aware to bring water along with you since although there at least four of these types of troughs as I'm calling them, they don't appear clean or easy to refill. (Maybe next time someone can show me). Other than that it's spacious enough and I haven't been on a weekday morning yet but the weekends there are definitely dogs for your dog to play with. PS: If you've never been, Park Ln is actually closed off. So your GPS will advise you to still attempt that way but lookout for the detour signs and you'll have to enter the street and over the small bridge where it says "Do Not Enter" because technically it's a one way access. Took me awhile to figure it out but I'm also not the best at directions.

My advice to avoid incidents is if your dog doesn't know the dog that it's being introduced to keep your dog on the leash until a proper introduction has happened. Even though your dog may be good you never know the habits of others. Talk to people and get to know them and you'll know what kind of dog parent they are by the way they speak about their dog. And please don't take your dog if they are reactive to people.

This appears to be a public park, but it looks like a parking pass is required. This park even has a small splash pad for your pooch to play in and plenty of picnic tables, some of which are covered. This doggy paradise is pretty much hidden from the main road but when you find it, you and your dog will enjoy this space.

But it was pretty hot out, and once the sun went down the party really started- there was upwards of 10 dogs when we left! The property is located out in Leander and is pretty rustic- the park is all dirt with lots of seating scattered throughout for humans (a fun vibe with mismatched chairs and tables of all styles and heights) and cute playground furniture for the doggos to run and jump on. There is plenty of tree shade as well, and water bowls set out for the pups. You check in at the bar and then can order drinks directly from a window in the dog park so you don't have to leave the fenced in park, which is nice. This dog park is super casual- no food served here, or cocktails. Just a nice straightforward (and reasonably priced) beer and wine menu. But really, what else do you need? Just some dogs, music (they had music playing) and a cold beer that comes with a cute coozie. The staff was so nice and really good with the dogs- they were there managing all the interactions and ensuring that nothing got tense. I really appreciated that. They do have doggie ice cream that you can purchase and have your dog eat outside of the park (no food allowed inside, makes a ton of sense). This place may not have jumbo screens and margaritas like some other dog parks- but that's fine by me for the relaxed and friendly vibe, reasonable prices, and staff that ensures all the dogs are safe and having fun! Found this beautiful lake to take a walk! This lake has a park where you can take your children to…read morethe playground or even play tennis. I decided to go for a walk around the lake and I definitely got my steps it. There are multiple covers picnic tables and benches to just sit and take a break or enjoy the scenery. You can get out on the lake in a boat as well as fish! If you're lucky you may even see some of the wild life. There is so much open land that you can go out for a picnic. I went mid afternoon and there were a lot of families walking in the park. You could layout in the grass for a picnic if you wanted. I even spotted a few deer through the trees across the lake. Absolutely beautiful.

Unsafe at the moment…read more There have been reports recently that I have heard of men hiding in the bathrooms, including the women's bathrooms. One recent report was that 3 men came out of the bathroom and was headed toward someone's daughter. Another mom called the police recently because men were recording the children at the splash pad, but they didn't have any kids of their own. The bathroom by the playground and splash pad has two directions you can exit.. to the left towards the splash pad or toward the right towards the side wooded area. Please don't let your children go in there alone and always check the bathroom first. Lakewood park, please hire security and heavily monitor the children's area.

It's ducked off in a neighborhood off grand avenue/ wells branch area…read more Perfect place for a walk, a jog, or to just come chill & clear your mind. semi shaded area with plenty of trees through out. there were wild flowers, ponds with people fishing, swings, restrooms, basket ball courts, small stair cases, a play scape , picnic tables ,& plenty of open space. parking is the only down fall as the designated lot holds about 10 or so cars. definitely enjoyed my time here and can't wait to come back.
