Quick and easy. Appointments were available online, day of. Parking is right in front and you can be in and out in a jiffy. Staff was helpful and friendly and was reassuring throughout the process. She provided me extra copies of documents knowing that some agencies wanted me to send in a copy as well so she was on top of it. UNPROFESSIONAL LOCATION! I, along with 7 others had an appointment this morning from starting from 9 am when they open. The doors were locked at 9 and no one ever showed up. I called the number at 9, 9:15, 9:30- the representative said they don't know where the person is who should be in the store. When I requested them to help me then make an appointment for today for a livescan for the next nearest location or put me in the walk in line they said "no its not fair to the people waiting there". Understood, but how is it fair that we all made appointments, took off work, and wasted an hour standing outside this location with no direction or information about what is happening?? They suggested to make another appointment for a different time but they cant locate the worker at this location who is supposed to be there. At the very least if they are a legit operating buisness they should send someone else?? Beyond unprofessional and wasted everyones precious time who maybe cannot so easily take of another day or urgently needed to have that appointment at that time. Representatives also knew nothing. Came here for my Live Scan finger prints. Easy and accessible and they have free parking. It is located in a shopping center next to a Dry Cleaners and opposite Hideko off Wilshire Ave on the Westside. I made my appointment early in the morning so I did not have to wait long. The inside is pretty bare bones, just two bench like seats, reception desk and then an area for the testing and/or scans. No frills, the ceiling had an ugly leak stain hole not sure if that's from the rain. Looks like a "pop up"store as it is so minimal but they said they have been here for 4 years. Oh and it was really warm, like no AC. They do other services as well like medical testing, labs etc. The ladies at the desk were friendly and helpful. I will say call to check the pricing because I paid $62 for mine (not covered by my employer) it's their fee plus the DOJ fee. So even though I checked on the IHSS website link provided, it said $26 that was NOT the case. They have updated their pricing since so just be prepared on the budget side of things. Worse blood drown experience with Tiara "the nurse". She Didn't know anything about phlebotomy. She had nothing ready and missed my veines multiple times while I have the best veins. The receptionists, Catherine and another one who had green hair, are the worst. Their attitude got me on boiling point. We called and asked if we needed to bring anything, they said ID. When we got here, my daughter needed glasses, which we went back home and grabbed it. I asked why they didn't tell us, and their reply was, "they didn't know that we were going to come. We just walked in." What kind of services do you provide? Dear owner, please train your employees. Don't let them be on the phone scrolling Instagram and not paying attention to the patient. We arrived at 4:30 and the close at 5pm. The lights were off but the door was still unlocked and an employee was still working inside. I understand that places are short staffed right now but this kind of thing is my pet peeve. My girlfriend is starting a new job and has to get fingerprinted before she can go in. She was turned away because "the machine is already turned off." She's soft spoken, so I went to talk to the employee about it. She tells me they are about to close, the machine takes a long time to turn on, and then even asks if my girlfriend has the money to pay for it before conceding that she has no real excuse not to provide the service. I appreciate in the end, the employee did her job and we were still out the door by 5pm. read more

Came here twice to get a third party test kit for HART CVE test that I was paying for out of pocket without insurance. First time I came, the guy was cool and was extremely thorough with the paperwork the kit came with. Just as he was about to pull my blood, I asked about pricing. He said he wasn't sure how much it was going to be (even tho I was given a price over the phone when I was making the appointment). He said he needed to inquire and went to make a phone call. Unfortunately it was after hours and he was not able to process the it beaches he did not know what to charge me. I came back a few days and the girl that was attending me was very new and called a supervisor to help her process the kit. The supervisor immediately said that they do not process the kit. I live several hours away and wasted several hours making two round trips because they couldn't figure things out. Overall, I felt that the staff were not fully trained and just winged things. No one gave me the same answer. From making the phone call to make the appointment to dealing with the staff in person, *I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.* Also, the place was filthy with dust bunnies all over the floor and the walls had ugly grim on them. Kind of creepy. Why do they have plastic models of embryos in development with signs that say: e.g. "10 days after fertilization," "30 days after fertilization," etc at a livescan, medical testing facility? The signs describe what the embryo is doing when it's 10 days old. I asked the woman working here today why are these here? She said: it's something for people to look at while they are waiting. Maybe they can get artwork instead. I wouldn't come back. I don't need weird anti abortion propaganda at a fingerprinting service site. Plus, the place is dirty. Plus, they have one person doing everything which includes check in, phone calls, fingerprinting, paperwork, so it is disorganized. read more

The staff is amazing! However the company itself wouldn't allow me to make an appointment for my TB test and so I had to do walk in and wait 30-45 minutes no matter what. I couldn't go until after work so I had to wait after all the people with appointments go before me. The company itself should allow for everyone to make an appointment. Other than that, it was all quick. I was able to get a live scan quickly the first time I went and the second time I had to wait for all the appointments to go first. I could probably say Five Stars and easily live with myself. I found WellnessMart, MD to be everything and more that I had hoped for. I didn't even realize that this service existed, but man, they got it down in spades. From the initial phone call (s) I had asking questions, to my dropping in for the application to the follow up visit, I thought that they do a great job. They're very knowledgeable and helpful. And friendly. They get you what you need in a timely fashion. And, they're not afraid to educate you along the way. I'd almost think they might get tired of answering the same questions they undoubtedly get. But, truly, they deliver service with a smile. The lady who helped me couldn't have been nicer. And the results came in a timely fashion. Costwise, it didn't seem outrageous. Just know that they take NO INSURANCE WHATSOEVER. They offer services that seem great for people that may have limited access to medical help due to insurance costs, etc. They offer an affordableTB test, which I needed to try and volunteer at a local hospice but their customer service leaves MUCH to be desired, I didn't get my TB test completed, and my volunteer service is delayed. Lessons I learned - BEFORE you pay for and let them administer the test that requires you to come back for a reading, proactively ask them the timeframe, and what their hours & availability are during that timeframe to you can complete the reading. I didn't do that and should've, but I walk away having learned to do that going forward. Alas, in this instance I did not do that, paid for and got the test administered, and then learned AFTERWARD they were only open 11-4 on Sunday (of a holiday weekend) and that was my only window to return. I knew could probably not make it work, and despite trying I did not make it before they closed. I tried to call the following day and I guess they were closed for the Labor Day holiday as no one answered after multiple attempts. When calling this AM to try and sort it out I was told it'd have to be redone and that I'd be charged again (but of course). If that is the consequence of the timing for the test not working out, it'd be really nice if the staff would be more conscientious about making sure the timing for the entire process works for everyone BEFORE doing the stick. Had I known the window was so limited, I would have come back at a time I for sure could have made the entire process work. I bet they struggle with repeat business with that approach. All I needed was a refill for prescription for labs that I take to another lab and they won't do this over the phone. So over 45 min waiting to pay for a prescription for labs! I walked in, filled out the forms, had my TB shot taken, and given a card for my return visit (48-72 hours after the injection). All in less than half an hour, tops. I called this specific location and made an appointment for a physical on September 16. They told me my appointment would be Thursday, September 23 at 9 AM. I was the first person here at 9AM and they told me they didn't have me for an appointment in the system and that there was nothing they could do. I'd have to put my name on the waiting list and wait outside. They should have a better system. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. read more

I was surprised to discover how convenient this entire operation was, the parking lot is indeed an added plus. Honestly, all of the nurses I've dealt with (3 young women total) were extremely sweet, patient and eager to answer any questions which is rare to find in these types of establishments. Genuine customer service matters. There has only been a small wait when I've walked in, and other than some minor disorganization behind the counter this place is great and I will return as needed. EDIT: I would recommend the owner always have more than one staff member on schedule at a time, as the nurse also acts as receptionist and always seems to be multitasking too hard. It seems unrealistic to answer phones, attend to patients, inject, fax forms, etc. all in a timely manner. read more

He shouldn't have to answer the phones in the middle of doing tests/vaccine and someone should immediately speak to you when you walk in. Just one or two more employees would be perfect. Went to get my TB vaccination and Medical Exam for Immigration purposes. I called a bunch of places from the USCIS website that are qualified to give the paperwork. This was the only place that seemed to have any clue about what was happening and what I needed. The woman answering the phone (Angel) was very coherent, informative and very nice to deal with. Straight up and knowledgeable. Once I got there I was the only customer and I met with Angel the woman doing the shots. Lovely woman and she took care of me right away. Shots were totally fine and more or less painless. I was out of there in 25 mins, Thanks Angel. See you on Friday for my results and paperwork. read more

The $25 marketing campaign "for a travel consultation" got me through the door and the $35 additional prescription cost is keeping me from ever returning. I went in for test required by employer. I was given an iPad to sign in and was told to have a seat while the two employees finished working on the clients. Please note, check in desk has no privacy with individuals crowding around. One was doing finger prints and the other what seemed like a physical exam. After one was done with a client, they did not proceed to check the sign in sheet but rather ask if anyone was waiting for a drug test and not fingerprints. What kind of business asks these questions out loud. This information is confidential. I should have been next to be called if they were going by sign in sheet but because they did not, I was going to be skipped. I asked the employee if she was planning to check the sign in sheet and go in that order. Her response was no, it was easier to ask around. After I pointed out I should be next, she seemed bothered that I corrected her action. She asked me what I needed in front of EVERYONE. I had no personal space. Employees lack customer service skills, organization skills, and lack of knowledge on patient privacy. read more

I called this company to schedule a medical exam for my wife.The lady at the San Mateo store told me to get 6 blood test first ,then make an appointment. So I called kaiser and did all the blood work. When I called to make the appointment online, the operator told me that they do the blood work and even though I already did it, it will still cost me 385.00..Anyway I made the appointment for Saturday at 12:00 walked there since I can't drive since I just had neck surgery. we walked for an hour to get there. Once we got there, there was a sign on the door stating that they had to close due to unforeseen event. No phone call or anything from this company. When I got a hold of the operator ,she offered my to make another appointment to one of there other stores. I told her that i have no transportation and if she could send me a Lyft for my inconvenience for the second time with them. She said no. This is very unprofessional for a medical profession. I did find another company that will do the I-693 for 185.00 since I already have all the blood work done. That is 200.00 cheaper then this company. I definitely would NOT recommend this company.
