Very strong massage therapist, love how they are receptive to patients level of pain. I let them know that I'm more sore on my right arm and which muscles was causing me discomfort I believe it was the boss and she applied topical medicine and massage the area. I think its so off putting when people insist on more tipping. She said minimum tip is $10 SINCE WHEN? Since when 25% tipping is mandatory? If you want $10 tip, you should post up a sign stating $10 tip is mandatory. I discovered Amy a while back and wow, she's absolutely incredible. If you're looking for the fluff of doored private rooms, expensive table bedding, lit candles and a quiet atmosphere, (along with the high spa prices) this place is not for you. If you're looking for quality, deep tissue work at a fraction of spa pricing and don't mind some subtle background noise of people talking from time to time, then this is the place for you! The pricing is VERY low and these (mostly) women work 6 days a week. They work so, so hard so the standard 20% tipping is quite low. They make minimum wage so they do rely heavily on tips. My husband is a chiropractor and tries to see Amy every few weeks, if not weekly. She really helps his achy body and helps me with my migraines and neck/back pain. We typically do a 90mins massage that is $60. We always tip $30 or MORE. These ladies work hard. I see people mentioning tipping so I wanted to add this point to my review. Even at $90 (the price we pay w/tip) for a 90mins, it's a massage that can't be beat. I can't speak to the other technicians except Amy. She's exceptional. If you get a 90mins you can opt to skip the seated/laying down foot section and go straight to the room. We prefer the time spent on the entire body so 30mins spent in this chair we skip. The body portion is in a small room without a door. Instead, there is a curtain. You still have lots of privacy but, again, don't come here looking for the fluffy spa experience. My masseuse started the session but after 5 minutes said she couldn't complete the service and would need to call someone else. I've been here a handful of times now maybe 4. Three out of four massages were excellent for the price. However, it does get NOISY in here. The workers absolutely do not care to talk softly. I even brought earplugs in and can hear.everything. From experiences, I hear the workers eating in the other room, talk on the phone right next to me and just talking in general. I know you get what you pay for and reflexology massage joints have have this reputation but it's pretty bad here! Also. the front lady will not follow your request if you want man or woman. After trying a couple of friend's referrals, and my extensive research, I 'd thought I give this place a try. After a first one hour session, I booked my second session for one and half hours a week later. Rose was my masseuse, and I can tell how skillful she is, she can pinpoint the acupuncture point very accurately, and I would say definitely one of the best masseuse I had. Till today I have had 6 sessions with Rose already, for at least one and half hours. My neck/shoulder/back pain due to long hours of sitting, busy doing office work(10hours and barely getting up) has relieved tremendously and made a huge progress so far.
