I went in for a 90 mins; 60 mins body and 30 mins foot massage for $60 listed price. It has hot stones included, no hot stone work at all. Massage is good but when it's time to pay, I gave her a $20 for tip but startled when she said that tips is $30! I've never been to a facility where tip was demanded and 50% for tips is absurd. I like my massage but I'm not coming back. I would have been a regular client had this incident didn't occurred. It's just off putting. read more

Avoid at all costs. I've been to plenty of massage places, but this was by far the worst experience. I asked for a 1-hour foot massage, but the masseuse spent almost 40 minutes just rubbing my shins while chatting with the other masseuses. Barely touched my feet at all. I had to ask her to stop then the owner and other masseuses came over and BLAMED ME for not speaking up sooner and telling her to focus on my feet. Like... I literally booked a FOOT massage? Bad massage, even worse customer service. Never coming back. read more

We discovered this place because we always eat at Mr Dragon Noodle House next door. My fiance & I tried their 60 min couple massage & our experience was awful. I was dry rubbed with a towel for around 20 minutes, she only focused on the left side of my shoulders, my feet weren't massaged & they never did the hot stones like they said over the phone. It felt like she kept forgetting to massage me because she was talking to her coworker the entire time. At the end of the massage, we gave them a 25% tip each, but they were mad they had to break up the cash & demanded a 50% tip each. Super rude & off putting, we're never coming back here again. Take your money next door to Mr Dragon Noodle House instead. read more

Ask for Apple! She is very tentative and works on areas of need. Price is very affordable compared to other places but would only recommend getting a body and foot massage so you have a private room. The foot massage setting doesn't have any privacy since it's right at the entrance lobby. read more

Took my 2 daughters, one if ny daughters and I had ok massages, the woman doing my other daughter was on her phone the whole time. Then she hovered to see what her tip was gonna be. For a few extra dollars LA Massage on San Gabriel Bl you get WAY more for your money including hot stones read more

Very strong massage therapist, love how they are receptive to patients level of pain. I let them know that I'm more sore on my right arm and which muscles was causing me discomfort I believe it was the boss and she applied topical medicine and massage the area. It was very comfortable and I'm a bit sore but it's the good kind. She seemed to also figure out that I'm more sore on the right hip and she spent a little longer helping me. I appreciate their help! They are very kind and hospitable read more

Sunny and YoYo are number #1 . This massage studio is not for the weak. They specialize in deep tissue and pressure points. If you like deep tissue massage this is the place to go. They are very inattentive and have great experience. This is a very good spot for a rejuvenating massage !!!!!!!!! read more

I wish I read the reviews more carefully. I had such a horrible experience. Not only did they not accept my tip, but they wouldn't charge my card until I gave more tip. I think its so off putting when people insist on more tipping. The whole time, people were yelling at each other, TVs were on, and the person who was working on me even left her phone on the bed while she was massing me. I felt it ringing through out my massage. It was a good massage but the environment sucked. And I will definitely not be coming back. read more

Wellness Massage Therapy - Business card - Massage Therapy Near Me - Rosemead, California

This is upsetting!! The massage was good until after paying and i tipped my massage lady $5 for a body service which is $40. Then my massage lady was unhappy and demanded for more. She said minimum tip is $10 SINCE WHEN? Since when 25% tipping is mandatory? If you want $10 tip, you should post up a sign stating $10 tip is mandatory. Then my massage lady complained to the owner, even the owner told me " when you go to the restaurant, you tip" I said " i do tip, but 10% not 25%". Then the owner told the massage lady, i will give you extra $5 out of my pocket. read more

Relaxing and professional service. Highly recommended compare to different places .smile

As of 1/2023 the price for a 70 minute massage is $40. Yes Forty! 30 minutes of foot and 40 minutes of body. They started off in a community room with about 4 massage chairs and did a most amazing foot massage. Then I was moved to a private room to do the back and body. I really appreciated this extra privacy as a woman. I didn't get the woman's name but I will definitely be back. read more

This place offer very good massage services. The employees there are very nice and professional. After the massage, I feel very comfortable.

Personally, I get offended when someone asks for more gratuity. It's a huge turnoff and bad business practice. Most likely, I won't go back. I tipped 12 dollars over $40 massage. which is 30% already. my masseuse asked for at least 20 dollars. Greedy people will ruin your business ! read more

This was the worst massage we have ever had. Way too much pressure to the point I am sore and in pain the next day. Cut it short because it was so bad for both of us. They did not say anything about tip to us but after reading other reviews several of these businesses ask for more tip which should be illegal. read more

I discovered Amy a while back and wow, she's absolutely incredible. If you're looking for the fluff of doored private rooms, expensive table bedding, lit candles and a quiet atmosphere, (along with the high spa prices) this place is not for you. If you're looking for quality, deep tissue work at a fraction of spa pricing and don't mind some subtle background noise of people talking from time to time, then this is the place for you! The pricing is VERY low and these (mostly) women work 6 days a week. They work so, so hard so the standard 20% tipping is quite low. They make minimum wage so they do rely heavily on tips. My husband is a chiropractor and tries to see Amy every few weeks, if not weekly. She really helps his achy body and helps me with my migraines and neck/back pain. We typically do a 90mins massage that is $60. We always tip $30 or MORE. These ladies work hard. I see people mentioning tipping so I wanted to add this point to my review. Even at $90 (the price we pay w/tip) for a 90mins, it's a massage that can't be beat. I can't speak to the other technicians except Amy. She's exceptional. If you get a 90mins you can opt to skip the seated/laying down foot section and go straight to the room. We prefer the time spent on the entire body so 30mins spent in this chair we skip. The body portion is in a small room without a door. Instead, there is a curtain. You still have lots of privacy but, again, don't come here looking for the fluffy spa experience. Come here if you want an incredible massage (with Amy) and please, compensate accordingly! read more

Very strong massage and affordable ($50/hr for a full body massage). Everyone I've gotten a massage from here has done a good job. Will continue to return when in the area and need a massage read more

I had a $30 foot massage, tipped her $15 and she just grabbed extra $5 from me. Very rude. Stay away from this place people! There are plenty of good massage places in san gabriel. read more

Massage was great. I just don't like that fact that they kinda force you to tip. I only had $100 and I told them I want to leave a $15 tip they said no, people normally give more. They didn't want to give me my change until I agree to a $30 tip. I would not be going back. read more

It's an excellent place for getting rid of back pain. Amy knows about pressure and force.

For anyone who suffers from severe chronic pain and doesn't mind enduring an intense, yes painful acupressure massage to get relief - you have got to try Alice at this location. She's got hands of steel and will not relent on those knots until they cry "uncle". I can take a good bit of pressure but this little lady had me yelping and flinching...then afterwards I felt like I hadn't in about 15 years. You have got to tip her well. She is a true reflexologist with over 12 years of experience in China and had just come from the motherland three years ago. If you want Swedish gentle sweeps this is not for you. This is for those who suffer chronic pain and want to unclog all the blocked lymphatics and "Jing Mai". I tipped her almost 100%, she worked really hard and I literally feel 15 years younger! Just endure the massage, she takes her job seriously and lets up only a little because she knows it'll yield the best results later. For those who know pain and want relief, she's the one you want. $40/hour, I got the two hour. Well worth it! read more

Horrible , lady was on the phone when massaging me never again lady forced tip when the experience wasn't too worthy don't go !! Save your money read more

Went to this place for a massage after a long week of work. Amy killed it! Had to send my wife to her as well. Highly recommended!

My partner and I arrived at 9pm for a 60 minute foot and body massage. At first it appeared like they would be able to see us both at the same time. They set us up on beds. My masseuse started the session but after 5 minutes said she couldn't complete the service and would need to call someone else. After another 20 minute wait and several phone calls later a new massage therapist arrived and started the session. Overall it was very underwhelming even for $30 it was a very disappointing experience I will not be returning. read more

The blind lady gave an chiropractor level massage. The massage is phenomenal. She actually ask me a lot about how I want the massage to be done and where I want to focus more on my body. Very nice place and the price is good too. The blind lady is not those just touching massage, she s one of the therapists has strong hand. Honestly I tried many massage place. This one is the one have both technique and great price. read more

I've been here a handful of times now maybe 4. Three out of four massages were excellent for the price. However, it does get NOISY in here. The workers absolutely do not care to talk softly. I even brought earplugs in and can hear.everything. From experiences, I hear the workers eating in the other room, talk on the phone right next to me and just talking in general. I know you get what you pay for and reflexology massage joints have have this reputation but it's pretty bad here! Also. the front lady will not follow your request if you want man or woman. Not sure why they even bother to ask. read more

90 min massage $60.....30% tip....and yet the masseuse asked for more. Who is in the wrong?

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! BEWARE !! Extremely GREEDY and rude. Demanded more tip $ and complained she had to work hard. Made a sour face and said $15 isn't enough. Money hungry ass wanted at least $20, refused to give me change & kept my bill hostage. Told her to keep it since clearly she needed more than me. They started to yell at me "LEAVE NOW, BYE". What goes around comes around. They won't be in business for long. read more

This is my follow up review as I frequent this business often! Wellness Massage continues to improve their services since opening a year ago, by adding a few more workers, massage combinations, therapeutic massages, shower facilities, and all at great affordable prices! Hands down best massage place in Rosemead I've been to! They don't use too much of their elbows like the other massage places and also they don't talk while massaging, walking in and out during your 1 hour session. Felt super relaxed! I did the 60min body massage with Han-- very good! I'll def coming back for a massage! I brought my sister in law too-- she loved it as well , she and Sunny who was super good as well! read more

Make sure you tip 50% if you don't want to feel like shit afterward!! Jesus, I really wanted to give this place a 5 star if they didn't give us so much attitude due to tips. After reading some of the reviews apparently you need to tip at least $20 on a $40 (60 min) massage. I understand they probably don't get paid much and depend on tips, but not everyone is familiar with the tipping culture when it comes to massages. It's just a really shitty feeling when you're unaware of something and they make you feel bad about it. We tipped around 20-25%, which what we thought was enough....but yeah they weren't very happy and we could definitely tell from their death stares afterward. Don't think we'll be back and pretty sure they don't want us back either lol. read more

First time I went with my husband decided to try a foot massage . The masseurs was good. Place very noisy employees don't give a shit of clients they just talking loud. Second time me and my friend tried the combo $40 which were in the room hoping would be quiet. Turn out the masseurs were talking to each other then one of them answer her phone twice talk loud. My friend masseurs (Rose )keep hurting my friend also walking in and out many times. After done i tip $17 and my friend tip $15 The lady name JOJO who did mine give me an attitude and said I suppose to tip her $20. Excuses is that a law that I should tip 50%? I had massages in many different places/countries in the past, but has yet to find a good one in LA/OC. After trying a couple of friend's referrals, and my extensive research, I 'd thought I give this place a try. After a first one hour session, I booked my second session for one and half hours a week later. Rose was my masseuse, and I can tell how skillful she is, she can pinpoint the acupuncture point very accurately, and I would say definitely one of the best masseuse I had. Till today I have had 6 sessions with Rose already, for at least one and half hours. My neck/shoulder/back pain due to long hours of sitting, busy doing office work(10hours and barely getting up) has relieved tremendously and made a huge progress so far. If you body is kind of mess up like me, I would definitely recommend you do at least one and half hour session, at least once a week, for a month or two. read more
