Excellent body massage, nice service, clean inside. $30/hr without being aggressive on tips. I recommend calling in ahead.

Been having so much neck and shoulder pain…read more.. I mean working mom life, you know how it is I went to L acupuncture And I opted for an acupressure massage with Chinese medicine All I can say is my massage therapist is so skilled My massage therapist is Hui 慧 She knew where I was in pain even without me telling her feel the tension relieved immediately Treasure: the Chinese medicine... like this black thingy They also do cupping And chair massage IG: socalhkfoodies

I've never had a massage that was so painfully good. I got acupressure therapy which included a…read moredeep tissue massage, hot stones, a black Chinese herbal paste and a head massage at the end. There's a diagram that outlines all of these acupressure points that she kept pressing which she pointed out in the hallway before we went to the room. The masseuse used special techniques to stimulate acupressure points by kneading and rolling to the point where she actually stopped to tell me part of my scapula was "not good," and I could tell because it got increasingly painful as she worked on it. I added cupping to the massage, which was my first time trying it, and I have no regrets. It adds a slight bit of pressure to the back but not at all to the point where it becomes painful. She used the one that vacuumed the air out so no fire was involved. I didn't realize that the color of the circles meant something, so I learned a lot about my body's circulation and stagnation. It's honestly so worth it to get a massage like this to relieve the stress your body holds because I don't believe a typical massage can get it out as this traditional Chinese massage can. There's plenty of parking in the structure located behind the building.

I came in for menopause-related symptoms, and my anxiety has significantly improved. I'm sleeping much better, and my 3 a.m. hot flashes are completely gone. Yesterday I received cupping and acupuncture on my back, and today I feel amazing. I never believed much in acupuncture before, but this place has completely changed my perspective it's now my go-to for any pain or discomfort. The students and doctors are knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly kind. They make you feel heard and respected at every visit. They also offer great package options, which make the treatments more affordable. I highly recommend AMU University Clinic to anyone considering acupuncture or looking for natural support for their health.

He wasn't too happy with me he gave me the diagnosed of (bursae) is a hip bursitis (I included a pic) he printed out the information I took it to the acupuncture doctor's they continue with the treatments I went every 4 days per week and let me tell you I am 100% cured It takes time patient and tolerance is the only way to get better I am going to continue going twice a month to keep my body in good health.... I highly recommend the Alhambra Medical University for acupuncture the cost is not very much and I believe they accept insurance. I hope this will help some one who has chronic pain or any injuries & needs healing I highly recommend this clinic

I was in an urge to look for a doctor for my stomach and duodenum pain. I cannot even drive because…read moreof it. Long story short, my family doctor helped me do a blood test and sonic-wave said my stomach is fine and I have to wait for a gastroenterologist half-year! Which drives me crazy because I can't work and drive because of the pain! I also only could lay on my bed most of the time and only have congee for meals. One of my doctor friends referred me to Dr. Elaine (thank god!) and I am recovering greatly in 5 weeks using herbs and acupuncture (I was in pain for months). My energy is keeping up and I can exercise at home (HIIT). Elaine and her team (front desk and medical assistant) were very nice and professional. The office has a lot of space and is pretty clean. During my first visit, Elaine asked me a lot of questions about how I feel, my body, my daily meals, my medical record, and more to find out my situation. She also took my pulse, touched my acupoints and used some machine to find out my problem. Then she explained to me how my daily life activities affect my body and told me what I should consume more and what I shouldn't eat. Meanwhile, she also explained how she would treat me in detail (clear enough for me to know what is going on but not super deep so I don't get confused unless I asked lol). I love it because I learn a lot compared to most of the doctors I had before who only tell me a little and I feel like most of them don't really care if I would actually be cured. *By the way, I had worked with some doctors in Hong Kong as a marketer. The herb brand Elaine uses is one of the best with cGMP certification. It's an international standard that is MORE strict than US, regulations enforced by the FDA and WHO. Downside? It's a little expensive to me... but it's worth it. Elaine not only just explained how the herb would help me but also explained to me how the acupoints work for me. I love to learn so I always ask a lot of questions and Elaine would enter this professor mode non-stop (at some point I have to stop myself because sometimes she has a lot of other patients waiting...) Back in Hong Kong I love to work with the younger doctor (not fresh grad young, but like around 10 years experience) because they have the newest knowledge and have just about enough experiences to help me. I always learn a lot from them because they are very updated with what they do and they are more open-minded to new technology and skills. Dr. Elaine is one of them and I am so glad that I found her. I think I am almost good with my stomach pain and I waited this long to have a more comprehensive review for Elaine and this place. Since I am very concerned about my health, I want to have a better body shape as well. I would continue coming to see Dr. Elaine and I would do further review on that part. I just really really think Elaine should do a membership or package (and hopefully folks like me can have a discount because I keep coming in like to the gym lol)

I would like to say that I am so happy I found this office especially since it's in my network. The…read morewhole office staff is extremely nice and welcoming. It really has that family like ambiance. The Dr. is genuinely concerned about your health and not just trying to mill you out. She takes her time to talk to you and is constantly monitoring your pain level asking what helps and what doesn't. I have been now going for the last few months and am experiencing vast improvement in my over all health. Along with cupping I also get the acupuncture which seems to work hand and hand with the cupping. I definitely will continue to go back.

They will hold you hostage for a tip. $10-$20 isn't enough for them. Which is odd, on there sign it does not express mandorty tip of a at a certain starting range. It sounded great and I wanted to confirm if tipping was required. She said it was optional, but minimum is $15 - $20... If you're going to require tip, don't falsely advertise low prices and then demand tip afterwards. Last time I came here and tipped them $10 each, they were hounding my gf and I for more money... What was the $45 for anyways then? If these people believe in tipping for their jobs, then why don't you tip the janitor who cleans the restrooms and facilities or the chefs who actually cook your food? These are people who actually make a difference and deserve it. Honestly, the nerve of some people.
