Before menopause I would run five days a week and cross training but my body didn't like it, so I stopped. I started fast walking it was fine until my body was telling to slow down. This review is long overdue. I hurt my upper back and neck from doing Suitcase Deadlifts. As I pulled the bar off the floor I heard and felt a snap, crack, and a pop. Instantly, I dropped the bar. I knew I was in trouble. I visited an urgent care later that day to get anti-inflammation and pain medication. But I knew that wasn't going to be enough... Dr Lisa squeezed me in the next day, on a Sunday no less, to adjust me and start what would be a several month relationship to nurse me back to full strength. Even after our first session, I felt better physically from her adjustment but also mentally because she inspired confidence in me that I would fully recover quickly. Dr Lisa is exceptional at what she does, but more than that she really cares about her patients which is hard to find these days. She's extremely caring and compassionate and it shows after just a few minutes of chatting with her. On several occasions she's also helped out a few of my friends and even my wife when they've needed her expertise. Working in fitness, my body is everything. Without it I'm out of business. And there isn't another chiropractor in Orange County I'd trust with my body or that of my closest family and friends. Secretly, part of me doesn't want everyone else to find out how wonderful she is because I want to be able to still get in for an appointment when needed. But she deserves all the success she gets. My family has been seeing Dr Lisa for the last 4 years! She's amazing! I've have a bad back since I was in high school (I'm now 40 y/o) and have been to maybe 20 different chiropractors, without hesitation Dr Lisa is by far the best chiropractor who's worked on me! My back got really bad to where I could barley walk. I had compressed disc from weight lifting, my spine and neck were curving the wrong way due to bad posture from sitting at a desk 10 hours a day. I first started seeing a chiropractor 3 -4 days a week for about a month and the pain would be gone for about 3-4 hours max. Then I was informed about Wellness Choice. This isn't a chiropractor. This is a place that wants to repair your spine and neck not just pop it in place as a bandage. The start of my x rays was showing the curve of my spine and neck both going the wrong way. I can promise this 3 months of therapy saved me from surgery.
