My mother had filler done here about two years ago, so we returned because she liked the product and had previously been treated at this office. We called ahead, confirmed her prior history, and were given a same-day appointment. After driving 45 minutes to get there and waiting about 15 minutes in the lobby, we were then told they would not do the procedure without doctor clearance. We were also told the original team should not have done it the first time without that clearance. I respect being cautious and putting patient safety first. What I do not respect is having that issue discovered only after we made the drive, checked in, and waited. If clearance was required, that should have been addressed before scheduling the appointment. Instead, this turned into a completely wasted trip, lost time, and an unnecessary 45-minute drive back on a Friday afternoon. The issue is not the safety policy. The issue is poor communication and poor handling of the appointment. read more
