My computer had some performance issues, I couldn't open certain programs and the machine was working very slow, I tried to do some troubleshooting myself but nothing helped. My Mac Book Pro is my livelihood so when I had a "service battery" prompt pop up, I had a lot of anxiety about dropping my laptop off for service at a repair shop, not knowing who would be working on it. I decided to look on Yelp and got a good feeling when I read David's 5 star reviews. I especially liked the fact that I would be talking to the person that would be handling and working on my laptop. I called David, he got right back to me and took the time to discuss options (he even recommended a great back up HD which he sent me a link for - above and beyond from our first phone call!). David ordered a new battery, let me know when it arrived and I handed my laptop over to him with confidence. I needed it back asap and he promised and delivered! My laptop performed fine that weekend but the mag light would intermittently go orange. I reached back out to David and he immediately reached out to the battery manufacturer, got a new replacement battery and again, delivered within a short time window, on his own time and dime, as the first replacement battery was defective. I called because my laptop died and I bought a new one since the old one couldn't upgrade to Windows 11. David called to discuss exactly what I wanted, quoted a reasonable price to diagnose the old laptop and transfer my files, and came to my home to pick up both laptops. Within a few days, I had both laptops back with all my data transferred and a diagnosis on the old laptop. This review is looooong overdue. I took my PC to David because it had stopped working. It would have some words on the screen and then turn black. I was so upset because I had written a 13 page letter, to the CEO of a hospital, detailing the horrible treatment of my daughter during her 2 week stay ( after almost losing her life.) I went to see David at Wellmax Computer and he was excellent! I was desperate and extremely upset when Windows crashed. I found him on Yelp and decided to call based on his five star reviews. I called him and he spent time on the phone listening to my attempt at explaining what was going on. He made time in his schedule to see me within fifteen minutes of my call and then spent an hour at least with me as I practically in tears showed him the issue. David Ward is the best tech guy I've ever worked with. Today he re-installed some backup files I thought were permanently lost due to a QucikBooks software upgrade. Thankfully David had set up an automatic program using both cloud and pc hard drive backup for us about a year ago.
