DH told me later he was unsure about a seafood place in a strip mall (it's next to a branch of RBC), but this means there's lots of free and safe parking. Midweek lunch meant no reservation was necessary, even during high tourist season. Just inside the door is a list of the locations of the hundred or so purveyors of their oysters: It's impressive! We opted for small plates and a few side dishes. Everything was so well prepared! My oysters were plump, briny, and attractively plated on ice with lemon slices. A small bucket of jarred sauces rounded out the setting: Hot Jamaican, spicy mustard, Wostershire, and mignonette. On the platter was freshly grated horseradish, which had a five second delay before the heat kicked in! My husband had the lobster roll, which was crammed full of large pieces of lobster! It was the best we've ever had! We'll be back soon! Husb

I started with a nice Pino Grigio to go with our garlic bread and the relish tray with pickle spears, black olives and seasoned cold rice. My son enjoyed his Connecticut roll. I had the California lobster roll with avocado and wasabi crema. So good. They come with house made chips seasoned with Old Bay. Very good. Not greasy. Next time I want to try the lobster tots. They have a cooler with soda, beer, and wine minis, as well as a slushy machine. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of outdoor seating. The location at Olcott Beach is great. It's right by a small ferris wheel, and in walking distance to the shops, beach, carousel park, and Krull Park. A great addition to the town.

Well I'm happy to say that I was not deceived, these were fresh and of good size ( we got the sampler). The kids tenders and tots, the little yelper crushed those and left super happy. The only meh thing for me was the clam chowder, I love a thick chowder and the misses loved this one because it wasn't. We agreed to disagree on this. But absolutely great experience overall and we are looking forward to visiting the new Lewiston spot next.

What a find!!! I almost don't want to leave a review because…read morethis place should really remain a secret !!!!! I lived in Dunkirk for several years, but the changes that they have made to the pier and boardwalk are really unbelievable !!!! Shops & restaurants and this gem!! Let me be very clear in saying that there are maybe three tables inside; this is definitely a grab and go restaurant . However there is a huge patio with many many tables even if they are full, which is doubtful, you could certainly grab a spot on the boardwalk nearby . We happened to have a beautiful night and we have an event to go to at SUNY Fredonia so a friend recommended this place . We waited about 15 minutes to place our order. After ordering we enjoyed our drinks out on the patio while we waited for our food. I opted for an alcoholic beverage while my son had a virgin piña colada. Our number was called maybe 15 minutes later and we were served absolute deliciousness. My son ordered the California, which was a delicious crispy fish sandwich while I opted for an Asian chicken wrap. Our food was absolutely delicious. Served just right. The food temperature was perfect and the portions were ample . The service was wonderful. If I ever come upon a beautiful night again in Dunkirk, I will definitely be visiting this place !!!!

The oyster appetizer (sold as six or twelve) can be raw or grilled. I adore them raw, and these are Bluepoints! They were plump, glistening, and had a great sweet and briney flavor. My husband's gumbo was thick with rice and andouille sausage, with baby shrimp. It also had a powerful black pepper kick. Very tasty! The boil arrived on a stainless steel platter in a large plastic bag, ballooned out with steam. We had chosen the butter, medium spicy. I thought the saltiness overpowered the flavor of the seafood, but your mileage may vary. Combo C had so much food we took a third of it home! We really enjoyed our meal here!

Because of this snafu beyond my control, and a late flight into Buffalo, we almost did not get to Dine at Weinkeller, which would have been a huge loss.
