1,000 times over, I will recommend Scotch Pines!!! April Jantz is AMAZING!!! When I adopted a puppy…read morefor all of two days, I reached out to her desperate at like 10 pm. I got a text notification that I should look at the website and was bummed but also glad for clear direction. I went there, saw a 1 day puppy training course and texted to sign up. I got an automated reply saying she was out of town starting that next morning and for the weekend. On a whim and because I was desperate (think newborn baby and no sleep and panic...that's how I was feeling), I texted back a question. Guess what!!!! She replied! At what was now 11 pm, she sent me resources, encouragement and wisdom! And she assured me she'd get me in as soon as she was home!!! I was (and am) BEYOND impressed by her care for me, the puppy and excellent customer service!!! I got her name with glowing recommendations from my friend Amy and now I'll add mine!!! Even though I realized it's not the right time for a puppy in my home, I will 100% use Julie at Scotch Pines when I DO get a dog and I will recommend her every opportunity I get!!!! Go there! You will be so glad you did!!!!

Our 2 year-old Golden Retriever had been exhibiting increasing levels of anxiety, fear and…read morereluctance at the very notion of entering our vehicle for pretty much her whole life. After having some extensive - and themselves very helpful and supportive - text message communications with April, we had her come over this morning to see how she could help us with this issue, particularly important and urgent as we've just recently embarked upon a 7 month family road-trip! April gave us several excellent pointers and examples how we could gradually begin to reshape our dog's phobia - about getting into our SUV - and, much to our amazement and joy, after only 25-30 minutes of direct training (of my wife and I!,) our beloved Golden was not only inside our car but she was laying calmly and seemingly even contentedly being there! THANK YOU, April - we TRULY appreciated your coaching and we'll diligently continue implementing the helpful techniques you opened our eyes to!!

We were recommended to Caldwell Vet Hospital by a dear friend. So glad she made that…read morerecommendation. The doctors and staff are so kind. Our beloved Kody, Siberian Husky was at getting towards the end and they helped us so much with the diagnosis and pain management. One of the doctors came to our house on the day we said our goodbyes. It was beautiful, loving, and full of tears. Kody in his final moments was surrounded by his family with an abundance of love. They took him when left us and called us about a week later. We went to go pick him up and it was just want we wanted. We miss him so much but having him at home with his picture in the front allows us to talk to him and give him pets. We can't thank the team enough for their kindness, patience, and compassion.

Yesterday we took my daughter's cat in for an emergency drop off appointment. The woman I spoke to…read morein order to make the appointment was fantastic. When we dropped Ponyo off the receptionist was so sweet. Dr. Jenkins was amazing. She was informative, laid out our options, and spoke with kindness and love. Unfortunately Ponyo passed away while there. Dr. Jenkins was very apologetic, explained what happened, and sounded genuinely distraught. We asked to pick her up so we could bury her at home. When we showed up, me with red rimmed eyes, and my daughter still crying, the woman that helped us (not the same one from the morning) had absolutely no warmth, kindness, or compassion. I said we were there to pick up Ponyo, and the first thing and only thing she said was, "it'll just be $83 for the office visit". No condolences, no kindness in her voice. She then stated "I'll go get him". Him. Ponyo was a female. She didn't even bother to pay attention. When Ponyo was brought out to us she was in an Amazon shipping box, which was all but shoved into my daughter's hands. Again, no amount of kindness or warmth. Nothing. Not a single word. A day that had turned out so horrible was made worse by this woman. How do you look at a crying child and have no compassion? It was in such contrast to Dr. Jenkins that I was taken aback. After the pickup experience we won't return.
