My dogs were always happy to get there and when I came to pick them up. Unfortunately I lost both dogs this spring. Fortunately, I was blessed to get a new puppy and we were welcomed back by the whole crew at Dogtopia once he had all his shots. He enjoyed the environment and I got his puppy report card and picture for his first day at school! I checked in on him on the webcams, like a nervous mom would, and saw him holding back to test the waters and then joined in play. The dogs were kenneled for a time to settle so they don't get crazy and aggressive from being so tired. We picked our boy up and he was so happy to see us he crowed! Lol! He slept most of the rest of the day, which is the blessing of daycare! I know some people don't understand the point of daycare for dogs but I do. I won't be bringing him every day, but occasionally to play and socialize is such a wonderful thing for them! Thanks!

I signed up with the video cam and checked daily for proof of life. It would be really nice to get updates of daily activities as well as additional services paid for; i.e. walks, hikes, kong treats, etc...we got nothing. In addition, when we picked up our dog on the second boarding I had to ask for the blanket I left with our dog. When they brought it out they said that the blanket got wet from a water dish while our dog was playing with a toy in the kennel. When I got home I discovered that the blanket was actually soaked in urine. It makes me so sad to think that my dog had no choice other than to relieve himself on the blanket...something he would never do. On the first boarding, his dog bed was wet but I chalked it up to a kong treat he might have gotten. I want to be 100% they want to care for my dog while I'm away and their attitude makes me think that my dog and me are an inconvenience. . I also think they would benefit from setting up a reservation system so boarding date can be revised and confirmed by both parties. This may drive up the cost of boarding but it may save miscommunication.

My Dane use to have issues with other dogs, but after his first time at Stayners (which was free), I bought a package and my Dane has no issues with other dogs now . The fake turf yard is amazingly huge. They have multiple yards I.e.- a ball yard, small dog yard, assertive dog yards, and introductory kennels. They have over the top friendly staff, which 2 staffers, are always watching the dogs with spray bottles. They have a covered area for dogs to cool of under and every other hour they take my Dane in to relax. I highly recommend this doggie camp!!

I've told her this but i keep getting her favorites. I don't want them in my house anymore. I have learned not to patronize such places once this starts to happen. Julie will also double book and even triple book, and i heard she tells sitters to put priority on dogs and do cats after. Sometimes my 9:00 cat appointment gets pushed to 10:15 because of her scheduling problems. I'm going with the many, many local sitters who do even better jobs and they are invested in our neighborhood cats. Julie being "bonded" means nothing but she says that's her strength. Ok.
