Fast forward to September. Similar fuel problem. Brought it back and they put in a new carburetor. And charged me for the replacement. $90plus. No warranty, no consideration for a failed repair. Arrogant response from service, that I caused the fuel problem. Not impressed with this business.

Called to see what cost would be for them to complete, was asked make model and make of engine, was informed pick up would be $80, I would be contacted in approximately 5 days with cost. Mower all parts I had purchased for repair and 3 pictures I had taken so I knew where rods springs and bits were located. Seven days passed I called and was informed mower was just going on ramp would cost $200 and ready in 2 days. Two day later was called and informed they did not know why my machine was picked up as they do not repair this manufacturers machines. On payment of $80 my mower and parts would be returned no work done and minus pictures. This used to be a great place for auto repairs. Now, not so much, and I'm not sure why. Bill used…read moreto be a reliable guy. On our latest visit, we were given a list of repairs, all of which seemed reasonable. At the time, our schedule was busy, so we just had one repair done, related to our car hesitating. Then - a few weeks later - our car was still hesitating now and then (and more dramatically) as we drove it. It wasn't quite enough for our car to stall, but it made us very uneasy. We took the car to another mechanic, explaining the hesitation issue. We gave that shop a copy of our recent receipts from 535, so these other mechanics would know what had already been done. They tried one fix after another, but nothing fully resolved the issue. Several days later, they still hadn't found what was wrong with the car... until they revisited the repair that 535 had done. Laughing as they explained the folly of not giving that repair a second glance until they'd eliminated everything else... they said it was a relatively simple fix, directly related to the 535 repair. Our car is running fine now, thanks to their work. It may have been an unusual misstep on 535's part, but the last time we saw Bill - a few days after the repair at his shop - something felt different. He wasn't the same, friendly Bill. Whatever it was, I hope Bill and his team get it straightened out. However, we're not likely to return to 535 Auto Care.

From the very start Mike listened to my needs for a thorough inspection, and he explained the process clearly. On the day of the inspection, Mike showed up on time at the RV dealership and coordinated with the service staff. Additionally, Mike brought in an expert on the Mercedes Diesel drivetrain to provide me with a reassurance of its condition. Mike and his two inspectors allowed me to walk-around while they explained to me the operation of certain RV systems which I was not familiar with. Mike and his team even took time to make repairs in a couple of areas. The inspection results were delivered to the service department for their action prior to me taking delivery. I am extremely satisfied with Mike's professionalism, thoroughness, and honest pricing. Thank so much Mike and Semper Fi!
