Stu was very knowledgeable and explained the pros and cons of each mower. Despite wanting a mower with a seat and cup holder, we purchased a Toro push mower with the Toro brand motor. We had a Toro years ago but our little hill in back wore down the self propelled "gears". We learned all Toro's are not created equal: plastic parts verse metal parts and different brand motors etc. I usually have some buyers remorse but Stu was a huge help and I feel we got a great mower for our needs. The first oil change is included which is nice since it's the most important and easily forgotten. A nice lady even got us something to drink while we waited. I'll give them a plus for the quick turn on repairs. Butt... After 10+ years, my Honda power washer needed a new carburetor. Main Street mower replaced it back in April. All was good. Fast forward to September. Similar fuel problem. Brought it back and they put in a new carburetor. And charged me for the replacement. $90plus. No warranty, no consideration for a failed repair. Arrogant response from service, that I caused the fuel problem. Not impressed with this business. read more

I started my repair and expected to complete it, but had a accident torn rotator cuff and dislocated shoulder. Called to see what cost would be for them to complete, was asked make model and make of engine, was informed pick up would be $80, I would be contacted in approximately 5 days with cost. Mower all parts I had purchased for repair and 3 pictures I had taken so I knew where rods springs and bits were located. Seven days passed I called and was informed mower was just going on ramp would cost $200 and ready in 2 days. Two day later was called and informed they did not know why my machine was picked up as they do not repair this manufacturers machines. On payment of $80 my mower and parts would be returned no work done and minus pictures. I have now with the help of my brother in law and a you tube video of a one handed mechanic repairing my type of mower completed the repair A one handed mechanic could do what a supposed to be mower expert company could not complete. I went to main street today to buy a part for my weed eater and the nice guy outside told me to go inside the store ,he will help you in there. I said "ok thanks". I went in and saw the older sales person attending with a customer. When the older sales guy finished with the customer, I was next! He looked at me and started to type on the computer.I said to myself what the HELL.. I looked and walked right out the store. We have been a customer of Main Street Mowers for years and thought we had a good business relationship with the employees and Stew. Since they moved to the Clermont location, their customer service has been horrible. I was a victim of theft on their property and they showed NO CONCERN whatsoever. They even implied that basically I was the target and its my fault. Instead of showing concern Stew tells me, since I don't have my CC on file, I need to move my items off their property. I am extremely disappointed and hurt by Main Street Mowers. I have spent a lot of money with them, ended some relationships with other vendors to allow them to service my equipment and they just completely do not care. I will never do business with them again and will recommend that no one else does either. read more

Kudos to Christian and Jason! I have a Toro Recycler 22" mower that has had issues with the self propulsion capability since right after I purchased it. Toro was of very little if any help...even though it was still under "FULL 2 YEAR WARRANTY". The drive wheels are plastic with plastic inner gears, powered by a metal bearing(genius huh?). Although I cleaned the undercarriage of the mower after use, the bearing gets dirt and will rust...chewing up the plastic inner teeth of the drive wheel. Toro then will not cover this under warranty. I will in the future pull those wheels, clean and lubricate the bearings...and not BUY ANOTHER TORO MOWER...the quality has gone downhill! Christian had Jason take a quick look and Jason repaired it as we waited. I had just gotten out of the hospital, my wife had to mow while I was gone (with no self propelling properties) the piece of mind Main Street Mower provided me was immensely appreciated! read more

I brought my mower into their shop on Thursday 7.31.14 for repair. I was told it would be ready in 4 days. I asked for a service tag and was told I did not need one.so I left my mower. Main street left a message on Monday and said to give them a call. My wife called back mid week a couple of days later. Main Street said the mower was not read and really we never found. Out why they called. We called back on Friday and an employee told my wife the mower engine is blown and we need a new mower and they sell new mowers if we want to come take a look . This is after them having the mower for 8 days. We picked up the mower and took it to another mower shop who told us the carburetor needs to be flushed and it will run fine. This is my second less than satisfactory experience with them my last one was at their Maguire rd location. read more

BUYER BEWARE: REBATES AT MAINSTREET MOWER ARE A CON. I purchased a $3,300 zero turn Toro. I followed all the rules directed by the sales crew to get the $300.00 rebate. Toro sent me a rejection letter. I called Main Street then took a letter in to them, and they said this is pretty much the norm, basically admitting they know it's a con. I took my lawn mower in to get fixed. When I went to pick it up I was expecting to pay about $100. They informed me that my lawn mower was still under warranty and I did not owe any money. Took my generator in on a Tuesday. Said would be ready in about 3 days. Part ordered 1-1 1/2 days later for some strange reason. Part didn't come in and hurricane coming so we had to pick our generator up and they kept our $25 deposit.
