When we got to the cash register, Julian, the young man that attended us was kind, respectful and even apologetic for the error. Another person, female (didn't catch her name) came to the register, was arrogant and off putting. The young man even suggested to her to take the flyer down because it was misleading. The price advertised was for one modle and the one advertised was a different modle. The correct customer service approach for their mistake was to honor the price due to their error on the flyer but the female staff was hell bent that the advertisement was correct until I pointed out the HUGE ERROR. I'm so glad my husband told me to take a picture of the flyer to show at the register. She even had the audacity to ask when I took the picture, I said "TODAY!" She didn't believe me, became enraged, as she was making her way to the display, she knocked down some merchandise off a shelf. Just be careful of in store advertisement at this location and know they will not honor wrongfully advertised prices.

I browsed the isles and a lot of things were really cheap and out of season but not expired for example I found a bunch of Easter Rice Crispys for $2. They have a lot of name brand items for cheap. Even though it's a bargain store the store was very organized and clean unlike some other bargain stores I have been to. I think I might start coming here for a nice little monthly haul of goodies!

Communication is easy, their products are very high quality, and the employees are knowledgeable, conscientious, and friendly. Thanks to Humberto today for his excellent work ethic and careful delivery of 3 cubic yards of potting soil and 3 cubic yards of mulch. Everything was perfect! I will be doing business with you in the future. It's nice to find such a great business when so many are only mediocre. Thank you again!

They don't answer the phone and direct to Indian call center or third party using their name . The carburetor cost $25 and added another and $25 to ship to store (Suspicious). The carburetor arrived at the St. Cloud store the following week. Upon opening this 'OEM' part it appeared to be a refurbished part and not new. The housing appeared to be cleaned and pitting removed. Mower did not start after installation. I then ordered $25 non OEM part off Amazon, which included as part spark plugs, gaskets and fuel filter all for $25. arrived the next day. Worked like a charm. Everglades refused to give me my money back. I've purchased two Honda mowers from their store. Horrible customer service, unscrupulous parts network and not very nice service after the sale. Buy your parts on Amazon. Cheaper, quicker and good return policy, none of these attributes can be found at Everglades St. Cloud store. Nasty counter folks as well. Not accountable to anyone. Stay away.

A Walk Through IKEA: A Test of Stamina, Direction, and Job Flexibility…read more January 10, 2026 My first serious trip to IKEA made me realize that this is not just a furniture store. It's a carefully designed one-way journey. The layout is extremely thoughtful--so thoughtful that it's almost impossible to visit just one section. Whether you're there to buy a single mug or simply "have a look," you will be guided through the entire store. I managed to do even better than that. I got lost. Not only did I get lost, I walked part of it twice. The most important detail: I was wearing four-inch stilettos. In IKEA, those are not shoes. They're a personal challenge. After what felt like a full hike, I finally reached the exit and thought I was done. That's when the real test began - checkout. Most stores at least give you options: self-checkout or cashier-assisted checkout. IKEA is very decisive. Self-checkout only. So there I was, scanning items, bagging them myself, slowly realizing I had taken on a new role. The screen even politely asked: "Are you a member?" I couldn't help laughing. I had just become a temporary cashier, without an employee discount, and without a paycheck. And then came the final surprise. At the exit - nothing. At Costco, for example, there's always someone checking receipts. At IKEA, the exit is completely empty. For a moment, you might think this reflects IKEA's deep trust in its customers. Then another thought occurs to you: maybe they also saved the salary of that employee. By the end of this IKEA trip, I had completed: a full-store walk, a detour with repetition, a high-heel endurance test, a self-checkout internship, and a quiet reflection on trust and cost control. Next time, I'll wear flat shoes. As for the salary and staff discount - I won't get my hopes up. I spent $53.69 in total that day. $29.95 went to pear-flavored sparkling water. Which means over half of my IKEA budget was... hydration. IKEA: where your legs get a workout, your patience is tested, and your self-checkout skills improve... all in one visit. I guess I overestimated my ability to wear high heels. I may have slightly overestimated my high-heel endurance. In hindsight, I clearly overestimated my ability to survive IKEA in high heels. I confidently assumed I could handle high heels at IKEA. I was wrong.

I wasn't sure how to exchange my propane tanks at the self service kiosk, so I went in to ask for help. A gentleman noticed I was carrying my two tanks for exchange. He said I could leave them by the door. I just needed to pay for the exchange first and the cashier would give me the authorization code to exchange them at the outside self service kiosk. The cashier pointed out the authorization code and said I could use the code twice for both exchanges. I went to the kiosk, typed in the code and a door opened to insert the empty tank. I put the tank in, closed the door and I second door opened within 30 seconds and I took out a full tank. I followed the same process for the second tank. As of January 2026, tank exchanges are $22.74 each, limited to two tanks. If you need propane for the cold weekend coming up, this is the place to go!

Once upon a time there was a world that thought of a hardware store as a little neighborhood market…read morethat was owned by someone in the community and had a few people working there. Then Home Depot came onto the scene and pretty much obliterated the local hardware store until pretty much all that remained was Home Depot and Lowe's. Lately, Ace Hardware has been trying to.capitalize on the whole neighborhood and warehouse store, but they are a chain,as well. Anyway, Home Depot does have a lot to offer. You can get lost wandering the aisles and pretty much anything and everything you need or even might need can be found within those cavernous aisles. This alone makes it a positive experience and my time here was a productive visit and I got what I needed and was on my way in an acceptable amount of time. All in all, I would recommend this particular Home Depot location for your home and D.I.Y. needs. I don't believe anyone likes shopping in a hardware store, but I had some items to get and knew that I should be able to get everything that I needed at Home Depot and, by the way, they did have everything that I needed so, "mission accomplished."
