Still as great as when I updated my review last year, so for great info, read that. This is simply…read morean addendum (wink) ... The co-ed lounge still offers space to sit and wait. They have complimentary snacks and flavored water. There are also still cozy blankets throughout the room you can use. I will say the chairs are not super comfortable so which I would bet is to ensure you don't lounge around all day. The complimentary drink situation hasn't changed, but they have added clarification at the front desk and in the lounge. ONE complimentary drink is offered (wine, champagne, mimosa, tea) and you can choose to have it prior to your service or after. I would recommend if you are arriving less than 30min before your service OR it's busy, get your drink AFTER! There are only so many staff members and if it's busy your drink won't be delivered with enough time to actually enjoy it prior to your service. They have removed the door from the shower and replaced it with a curtain so it's easier to spot. HOWEVER, they do not offer towels larger than a washcloth, so if you plan to shower BRING your OWN towel! They do however have complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For the first time I ever I included a facial to my visit. The Repair and Revive facial was incredibly relaxing and my skin looked wonderful! I do wish more instruction had been offered when I checked in as this was my first facial. For ex: - Do I wear a robe, or go in my clothes? A: Either. You take off your top and they have you wear a wrap before climbing under a warm blanket and lay on a table (like a massage). - Should I shower before because I won't want to wash my face after? A: yes. Sunscreen and other creams were added to my face so I did not want to shower after. -Should I have my hair done or leave it messy after a massage? A: They massage your neck and around your hairline with oils then wrap a soft headband around your hair to keep it off your face. I had a new woman giving my massage and a new woman do my facial and both were incredible. I have yet to request the same person when I return because truly no matter who I get, they are incredible!

No shade to the friendly front desk or Gina (who gave another fantastic massage), but I left…read morefeeling a bit disappointed. After Woodhouse's most recent renovation, the Quiet Room feels like a Starbucks seating area, where I should whip out my laptop and hop on a Zoom call. Several small, dining-height tabletops and lots of tiny, hard chairs. What happened to the comfy chaise lounges with the big, fluffy pillows? There's a small water station (cool, no ice) and a few small to-go snacks, but that's it. I was led to the locker room and shown my locker, but never offered a water or mimosa, not even instructed to sit in the Quiet Room while I waited. Maybe this was because they knew I was a return customer, but still...

I thought that this was a legitimate business for massages given the area and surrounding offices…read more I simply asked for a lower back and shoulder massage, and so I didn't expect to have to completely disrobe. The "Therapist" insisted that it was necessary--then the session really went downhill from there. This young woman began taking physical liberties that were neither requested nor wanted. She was very sexually suggestive and aggressive with her hands on my genitals. After unsuccessfully getting her to stop, I quickly got dressed the hell out of there. It appears that Hands On Wellness is performing sexual services while masquerading as a real massage business. It was disgusting, sickening experience. We don't need this illegal activity in our Plano community. Beware!

Each therapist displays different touch and feel, but all of them are very personable and provide a soothing and muscle relaxing experience. In my latest session, I elected a stress reducing massage. Inside, the facilities are spotlessly clean and the decor is beautifully appointed with small touches of Asian art. There is also a multi-head stand up shower, if there's any oil or lotion that may need removing. The service prices are reasonable and will be well within the average client's expectations. All in all, from first to last, I've always enjoyed my experiences at Hand on Wellness, and I recommend it highly.
