Please do not go here! This was the worst experience I have ever had getting a massage. The lady…read more, who spoke no English, wanted to run my credit card before even giving me the massage. The massage was very painful, awkward and uncomfortable with most of it being under a hot towel which was stifling. She just kept pressing into me and using the weight of her arms and elbows. When I asked her if she would use oil, she said "oil?" Then she took the towels completely off and left me with no cover at all. After a few minutes she put one towel loosely back on me but it kept sliding off. When the massage was over, she used an app on her phone to translate her message to English. She informed me that she couldn't get my card to work on her device and that I needed to wait for her boss. I just wanted to leave and I happened to also have cash so I paid her in cash and left. Later, when I checked my bank statement, she had charged me and lied about it and so I ended up paying twice....once on the card and once in cash. When I went back to complain, she lied to her boss who showed up. She told him that I never paid her the cash. These people only care about the money and will use any means to get it including lying and stealing from their clients. I filed a complaint to my bank to get this resolved. Horrible massage and a horrible business.

I was able to easily make an appointment, I arrived a little early and was greeted by a lady who spoke little English (I asked a question and she had to put it into Google translate, so she understood me and I appreciated her making the effort to respond). I checked in on an iPad where I also gave consent for services (would prefer this being sent when I made the appointment so I can read over it and not feel rushed). I was walked back to a room and was given a towel and told to take my top off and get on the table. She stepped out and while I was undressing I realized that the walls don't go all the way up and very thin (think of a changing shade in a dress shop) so I could hear everything that was taking place in the room next to me. I will say that my head was washed very well but once everything was done and I got dressed, I was lead over to a chair and shown how to use the blow dryer and she left. Once again, language barrier, so I sat there for a minute wondering what's next and then I realized, I'm suppose to dry my own hair. This was a little far for me so I can't say I'll be back soon however my hair was really really clean when I left.

Still as great as when I updated my review last year, so for great info, read that. This is simply…read morean addendum (wink) ... The co-ed lounge still offers space to sit and wait. They have complimentary snacks and flavored water. There are also still cozy blankets throughout the room you can use. I will say the chairs are not super comfortable so which I would bet is to ensure you don't lounge around all day. The complimentary drink situation hasn't changed, but they have added clarification at the front desk and in the lounge. ONE complimentary drink is offered (wine, champagne, mimosa, tea) and you can choose to have it prior to your service or after. I would recommend if you are arriving less than 30min before your service OR it's busy, get your drink AFTER! There are only so many staff members and if it's busy your drink won't be delivered with enough time to actually enjoy it prior to your service. They have removed the door from the shower and replaced it with a curtain so it's easier to spot. HOWEVER, they do not offer towels larger than a washcloth, so if you plan to shower BRING your OWN towel! They do however have complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For the first time I ever I included a facial to my visit. The Repair and Revive facial was incredibly relaxing and my skin looked wonderful! I do wish more instruction had been offered when I checked in as this was my first facial. For ex: - Do I wear a robe, or go in my clothes? A: Either. You take off your top and they have you wear a wrap before climbing under a warm blanket and lay on a table (like a massage). - Should I shower before because I won't want to wash my face after? A: yes. Sunscreen and other creams were added to my face so I did not want to shower after. -Should I have my hair done or leave it messy after a massage? A: They massage your neck and around your hairline with oils then wrap a soft headband around your hair to keep it off your face. I had a new woman giving my massage and a new woman do my facial and both were incredible. I have yet to request the same person when I return because truly no matter who I get, they are incredible!

After Woodhouse's most recent renovation, the Quiet Room feels like a Starbucks seating area, where I should whip out my laptop and hop on a Zoom call. Several small, dining-height tabletops and lots of tiny, hard chairs. What happened to the comfy chaise lounges with the big, fluffy pillows? There's a small water station (cool, no ice) and a few small to-go snacks, but that's it. I was led to the locker room and shown my locker, but never offered a water or mimosa, not even instructed to sit in the Quiet Room while I waited. Maybe this was because they knew I was a return customer, but still...

I was open to a solid full color if matching my current color wasn't possible and perhaps a trim. When I called for an Anthony mentioned in reviews, I was told he's no longer here but the other ladies are experienced. I booked an appointment and came in over the weekend. I'll admit letting someone new do anything to my hair is nerve wrecking. I ended up spending 3 hours here and paid for a laundry list of services (color, partial highlight, low lights, toner, cut, blow dry). I was shocked when it was time to pay, $350 + tip totaling nearly $400. I haven't had highlights or low lights since high school! Maybe it's a thing here, I'm just not personally into it. I really like to keep things as natural as possible and don't like putting bleach or anything along those lines in my hair. I got home and cried to my best friend trying to explain I had stripes in my hair now and they look orange. My hair is naturally curly and not a lot of people know how to blow dry or flat iron my hair properly. I felt horrible that I was charged for a blow dry because as soon as I got home I immediately got in the shower to wash all of the product out of my hair, that was put in, in an effort to blow dry it. It wasn't sectioned and blow dried or flat ironed and it felt like a mess. It was also trimmed after this, so now that I've blow dried it and flat ironed it out there is a questionable section that appears to need to be trimmed. I typically get a dry cut after a Brazilian blow out so my hair is completely straight for it. I really wanted a Brazilian blow out until I found out that would be $350! I could have flown home to my girl in LA for my roots, and a Brazilian for less than this. Call me crazy but no hair appointment should be over $800. The girl who does my color, cut and Brazilian would loose her marbles if I told her this. All in all this just isn't a style or look I like or would want to pay to keep up. I feel like as soon as I need my roots done, it would be so obvious that I needed more stripes or whatever all of this is called vs just a solid root color. I'd hate to immediately go pay for a solid color to be put over the $400 service I just paid for but at the same time it doesn't feel like me at all. Although subtle enough (which again, why did this cost so much?!?) that most may not notice, I know that I never have this done to my hair. I saw a bunch of clients coming in which is great for them but this salon isn't going to be the one for me as often as my hair grows the price for services is just outrageous compared to what I'm used to paying. I like the solid dark brown sections and I'm completely confused as to how I had all of this excess going on when I specifically booked a root touch up or solid color and trim. Sometimes you feel a bit taken advantage of when things like this happen.
