It was EXTREMELY stressful, but the second I met Brian and his wife, I knew we were in good hands. She kindly took us to fetch some food at a nearby food stop while Brian went to work finding the part we needed to continue our trip. We had been swindled at a mechanic back in Denver, CO a few day ago - the part that broke on our car was the same one that was replaced back in Denver. Brian called them and tried to get them to stand behind their mistake, but they didn't. I am beyond grateful for the work they do, and for what they did for us. They checked on us to make sure we made it to Portland. If I'm ever in the area again, we're stopping by to say hello. The car hasn't given us any issues related to the work they did since. A HUGE thank you to Cone Automotive.

I thought for sure I had a bad wheel bearing, and I told them as much. He called back and said that "my bearings are fine, and all I was missing is a tie rod" and he fixed it for a fair price, and had it done that same day, so I wasn't out of a car anymore than one day. Especially when he could have also charged me for a wheel bearing replacement, and I would have been none the wiser. Best Auto shop in Ontario, hands down. Thanks Cones! I'm sure I'll be back!... Just hopefully I don't have to come back anytime soon.

I called Modern Auto Service and Kevin (who comely and confidently said he would take care of my daughter) sent a tow truck, had a loaner car ready for her and was prepared to work on her car first thing the next morning get her on her way. The tow truck was very quick and she arrived at their shop 30 minutes after closing. One of their mechanics stayed late, found the problem quickly (spark plug wire was loose) and sent her on her way with no charge other than the tow. We are big fans of Kevin and the Modern Auto Service team...they are honest, respectful and treated her as if she was one of their family. Happy Daughter, Dog and Dad!

BEWARE OF THIS SHOP!!!!…read more This man has no integrity at all. I brought my car in there because it was having issues shifting. Before I brought it in there I had narrowed the problem down to two things. I took him for a drive in the car showing him what was going on. I told him what I thought it was. I told him to please call and let me know how much I was looking at for cost before he did anything to it. Later that evening, Claire calls me and tells me what the problem was (exactly what I thought it was). He told me it would be 150 dollars to fix my car. I asked him if that was parts and labor out the door. He said yes. I asked my wife and she said to go ahead. The next day, I receive a call that my car was done and ready to pick up. I asked if it was still 150 dollars. The lady told me it was $390 dollars. WHAT?!?! I tried to get him to lower the price because he had told me that it was going to be 150, but he wouldn't budge. The really bad thing about all of this is that I could have literally done this myself for 50 dollars. I will never take my vehicle to this place and I would recommend that you don't either. He will tell you that it will cost a certain amount and then charge 260 percent of what he quoted you!!!!
