I called multiple companies to tow me out. Shane was the only person who asked if I was okay. It was that simple gesture alone that made me pick his company over anyone else. It took him all day but he was able to navigate the back roads to get my car out. Shane communicated with me throughout the entire process and allowed me to get all my stuff out of the car later back at his shop. However, Steve's towing had my car for a week a half. The hours they posted were wrong and were closed on many days they said they would be open. The after hours number they had left was disconnected. Finally, the day before I was supposed to go home they weren't open despite it being noon on a Monday. We finally got a hold of them and met up the next day. They ultimately charged us for every single day the car was there - 800 DOLLARS. Despite having come to the shop 5 times and showing them our attempts to make contact with them, the owner hung up on the phone and insisted on $800 cash. It's bad business and they're making money by not coming to work.

We told him we weren't in any hurry to get the car back because we were going to pay cash for the replacement and he was fine with that. So, it took a while to get the car, but that is what we wanted. Dennis was very easy to work with and we were glad to find this local resource so far from home.
