In fact, I find that it always happens to be after hours when my car breaks down. I called them around 6:00 p.m. on a Friday to get my grandmother's car towed to Firestone. This was about a 4-mile tow. There was not one tow company willing to help my grandmother until we contacted Newcomb Wreck and Recovery. We were in a really weird predicament. My grandmother had caught a ride home when her car broke down around 5:00 pm. She took the keys with her because she had to get into her house (of course). This is important to note, she was only a quarter of a mile away from her car. Easy walk for most, but bad for my 71-year-old grandmother. We needed someone that would drop by her house and pick up her keys and then tow the car. Newcomb was the only one that would help my grandmother out. I judge a company based on how they treat my grandmother. They treated her as if it was their own. I was so pleased with their help. I will be using them again if I need their service. Special thanks to the overnight guy that was working on (1/28/2023 sorry I don't remember your name but I hope you get recognized within the company for your fantastic customer service). Then, when I went to retrieve his personal belongings, they flat out refused to allow me to access his vehicle even though my name was on the title as well. Stating that they had to have the insurance call them and pay for their towing or storage fees or we pay their towing or storage fees. After I already offered to pay them to take it somewhere else. They were very rude and very unsympathetic about the fact that my husband did not cause this accident somebody else caused it all I wanted was his personal belongings.

The First Lady at the window was very pleasant, then the dispatcher came out and was horrifically rude and aggressive from the get go. Was yelling, being loud, and hateful. My boyfriend tried to ask a question, as we didn't know what the process was and she up and told him to be quiet and kicked him out of the building. I know the tow drivers and their mechanics and they're all nice folks. But, the mega Karen look alike should not be allowed to deal with the general public. Not sure what her problem is, but I think not. The recovery process is already stressful enough without dealing with someone who has an ego trip.
