I quess this is a mixed review. On January 30 in that ice storm in Little Rock , I got a flat tire while leaving a restuarant. The tire went flat almost immediately and i pulled into a parking lot nearby. I am 70+ and I had my 95 yr old uncle with me and I was from out of town. I had AAA. Called them and they said East End would provide a tire change. I could have done it but it was cold and I have AAA for a reason. The guy showed up pretty soon and was friendly (nice guy really). Turns out his floor jack was not operable, hummmm? He asked to use my Jeep's sissor jack. So okay and he changed the tire. fast forward to about 10 days ago and I got another flat while on the highway in Waco. Beautiful day and I was in a safe location so I was just going to change my tire. NO JACK HANDLE! Didn't realize the missing handle since I hadn't needed it in the interium. Another call to AAA. They sent a guy from Waco and he was great too. He'll get his own review. I called AAA to report the mising Jack handle that the guy from East End must have left in his truck. I mean he used it and it worked for him but now it is not with my SUV. I don't suspect any bad behavior, Shit happens from time to time. AAA called East End and the guy there called me. He was NOT defensive, perhaps he found the jack handle still rolling around in the floor of the tow truck. At any rate he said he would send me the missing pieces. And he did. I got them today. Bottom line is East End should take better care of their tools. They were friendly and they did replace the missing parts But it also COST me a service call to AAA and as anyone who uses them know you only have limited number of calls before they charge you. So I lost a service call to the issue in Little Rock. Not too happy about that and I don't know if it can be corrected. We'll see. So kudos for showing up right away in the cold and solving the problem, Shame for not having the proper tools and needing to use mine. And some points for quickly solving the missing handle issue without any pushback. So end of story, If I need a tow in Little Rock, I'll call them, I'll just be careful about the tools used. read more

1 Star -- Predatory, Unprofessional, and Dangerous This was one of the worst experiences my family has ever had with a tow company. First, they made us wait FIVE HOURS on the side of the highway and still had the audacity to try to charge $900 for a tow that should have cost around $600. Waiting that long on the side of a highway is already stressful and unsafe, and instead of helping the situation they tried to take advantage of it. To make things even worse, they refused to accept any payment method other than cash, which is a huge red flag for any legitimate business. I called them multiple times asking them to drop the truck off, and they repeatedly refused. After several attempts, they finally said they would drop the vehicle only if I paid $657 in cash. They also threatened that if I didn't pay them in cash, they would impound the vehicle. At that point it felt like they were holding the truck hostage. The only reason the situation changed was because I threatened to take them to court, which is something no customer should have to do just to resolve a basic towing situation. The most disturbing part of the entire experience involved my father. My dad was inside the tow truck while they started driving away, yelling at the driver to stop, and they continued driving anyway. That situation alone was extremely alarming. On top of that, they drove onto the highway without the trailer lights properly on, which caused a large truck to almost collide with them. It created a very dangerous situation that could have resulted in a serious accident. My father is Hispanic and the way they spoke to him throughout the entire situation was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Between the five-hour wait on the highway, the attempted $900 charge, the cash-only demand, refusing to drop the vehicle off, threatening to impound it, unsafe driving, and the way they treated my father, this felt like a completely predatory operation. Avoid this company at all costs. There are plenty of towing companies that operate honestly and professionally -- unfortunately this is not one of them. read more

We had a need for East End Towing yesterday. Google maps had sent us in the wrong direction to our campsite as we were towing a 15,000 lb trailer. We ended up getting stuck in the mud. After several attempts to extract ourselves, we realized we had to call AAA. They sent Fount with East End Towing. He was absolutely marvelous. He was quick, kind, courteous, and extremely professional. We had explained to him some of the limitations of our towing set up and worked within those limitations to help extract us from the mud without any damage to our truck or camper. As the sun was setting, he worked quickly to get us back on the road before dark. I can't say enough about Fount and his kindness and professionalism. A true gem of a man! Would I use East End again? I kept scooting back and over for them to be able to leave, but they kept honking at me and then one of the staff came out and rudely gestured at me to move. Great People and Great Service!! If you need help, call these people. I am a female with a shredded tire and a spare located under the SUV. Needless to say I was panicked. I had no idea how to access or change the tire. I contacted two other companies and none would provide service. I would also like to say that I am confused by the other reviewer's experience. They were very professional. Explained that they could provide tire changing service and provided an estimated time frame. They also accepted credit cards. After speaking with the office, Fred, the service technician contacted me to confirm my location and again provided an estimated time of arrival. I also received a text message alerting me when he was 5 minutes away. I say all this because I was trying my best to describe where I was located; I even took a picture with my phone and sent it. Fred arrived before the estimated time. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. And he was quick. He not only changed the tire but noticed that one of my other tires was low so he checked the rest of my tires and aired them up. I felt confident and safe when I went back out on the road to get home. I did not have any cash because I never carry cash. Fred called a number and the credit charge came directly to my phone. Unfortunately, it does not allow additional tip for superior service which I would have been happy to submit. When you approve the charge, it does ask about your service experience. We hired them to tow a semi from Atwood Rd which is down off chicot Rd in saline county. The tow truck driver pulled the semi out then backed it up beside where he pulled it from and got stuck, he called his company, they sent another truck to pull the first tow truck out with semi still hooked up. We were charged for both tow trucks, so we went in the hole on money by taking the semi to ABC salvage on stagecoach Rd from Atwood Rd. I had a flat tire on Baseline road on Christmas Day. I waited on the guy for almost 2 hours first of all. Secondly he couldn't even fix my tire so we had to tow my vehicle to my house (about 10 miles away). When he finally gets my Suburban in my driveway I had to call the office to pay. Surprise surprise his computer was not working. I was then told by the driver he would have to take me to a ATM to get cash or he was going to take my car! I am trying to pay you, but you cannot accept my card? What kind of operation are you guys running here? Our Christmas was ruined today by this company and their driver who might have had 3 teeth altogether! (Obviously a drug addict) Take my car? REALLY? Then upon leaving he takes my keys with him! How does this happen? Yeah shame on me I guess for forgetting myself but I was so worked up about him saying he was going to take my car because his computer couldn't take my card! My car was impounded off the freeway and was picked up by Jhook towing, I gave them zero stars not because they towed my car but how I was treated by their staff. They are pretty rude and gave me an extremely hard time. Anyways, I called East End Towing to come there and take my car to my house. Late on a Friday evening I discovered two flat tires and called AAA for a tow to a nearby tire center. I was less than enthused to hear that an East End tow truck was responding. Turns out I had little to worry about. This time the driver telephoned me and stayed in regular communication. I even helped vector him in at the university. He was prompt (arrived 30 mins before the time AAA quoted!), professional, patient, polite & all around awesome! It was 19 degrees outside and the Navigator was parked on black ice and on an incline--but he unloaded the luggage from the back end (and I had quite a bit), got out the tire--changed the flat and had me back on the road in no time! Due to the cold, he assured me that it was okay for me to wait inside while he worked, and he kept me advised on his progress. I have used this company before, but only through AAA. I guess I should've stuck with using them only through AAA, and not an average Joe. They were not very responsive for the first time of me having my car being towed multiple times by this company. I received no real time updates on where my tow truck driver was, and when I called the company to see what could be done to compensate for my time, they shoved it off as nothing and told me to just call back in the morning when a supervisor was in. I also didn't know the price until the tow driver got to my location, when they usually give me the pricing list way before he is there. read more

On Sunday, October 30th, our vehicle experienced mechanical issues and had to be towed from Little Rock to our mechanic in Bryant. This was arranged by our insurance company. Between these two points, the driver (Daniel) lost our only set of keys. Over the course of four+ hours and at least one unanswered hold time of over 45 minutes, we tried to resolve this with both the driver and the dispatcher. Here is some of the responses of the driver to the situation: "Ma'am, HE told me to put them under the driver's side floor mat." (SHE, not HE, did not. We looked in the visors, under the floor mats, in the console, in the glove box, and under all the seats before calling to inquire where they might have been left.) "Well, that's where I always put them." "What vehicles are beside it? Did you check there?" "Did you check the ground?" "Well, someone probably stole them. They steal catalytic converters, you know." (I explained that my daughter --10 minutes behind him-- followed him, and in fact passed him as he left our mechanic's property. Also: the catalytic converter was still there, thanks for your concern.) "The mechanic probably walked out and took them." (The business is closed on weekends: no mechanic present.) "I have a picture of where I left them." (I asked him to send me that, and he refused.) The dispatcher was not helpful. At. All. She didn't return my calls as promised, and left me on hold for nearly an hour at one point. When I gave up and called back I told her if she was so sure her driver wasn't mistaken would she please have him return and locate our keys for us. As others have shared, the individual on the other end of the line was quite rude, as was the driver. Meanwhile, I finally called a locksmith. That locksmith arrived a few minutes before Daniel showed up. Full of swagger, Daniel marched past us all to our car, opened the door, crooked his finger at me, lifted the floor mat, and showed me: nothing. No keys. ANYWHERE. He said "I know where I left them", walked back to his truck, and drove away. I spent $230 to have the ignition pulled and new keys programmed/made (plus $70 more for an additional set, but that set is on me). Just so we could lock the vehicle and get keys to our mechanic in the morning. Now six hours invested into resolving an issue their driver created, we decided to drive back to the location where East End initially picked up the car so we could search the ground on the off-chance Daniel had dropped the keys somewhere. We found nothing. It's been 26 days. I've phoned and have left voicemail and verbal requests for Mark (or Chris) to call me multiple times. I have still not heard from either of them. On their website it says: "We hold our values high and will accept nothing but the best to be able to provide you with superior service. We will prioritize integrity over money every time..." This clearly is not true. They did not take reasonable care of our property, which even they admit was in their possession. Their negligence and complete lack of professionalism (across the board) in dealing with the aftermath of it cost us $$ and a considerable amount of personal inconvenience. Dodging our calls and refusing to address their driver's mistake speaks to their profound lack of professional integrity, as does how comfortable their employees are in being over-the-top rude to clients. I cannot recommend this company. read more

I had to leave my car overnight on a Friday at a business that decided to have it towed by East End Towing. East End Towing wouldn't let me come get my car until Monday morning. They wouldn't tell me how much it would cost over the phone. They towed my car over 20 miles away from where I parked it. Once I got there they told me they would only accept cash even though their website clearly says they take credit cards. They demanded $369 to release my car to me! They drove my truck to their shop with the fan hitting radiator, coolant pouring, transmission cooler lines Pissing fluid out. Really. Why the hell didn't you load it on your wrecker and bring it where you where told to bring it. Oh wait, I was told it was lunch time. I know I was wait on you to bring my truck so I could go eat too. My driver started it too, and shut it off when he heard the fan hitting the radiator. Why would you risk my $2500 transmission to drive my truck 1 block? Because your opinion is, it was totaled ? Absolutely horrible company. As a heavy towing guy myself, I know the business and these people were beyond shady. From waiting several hours longer than promised, they showed up and it was one excuse after another as to why it couldn't be done. All they had to do was lift the boom lift two inches and I'd drive out from under it. Simple. Then they come with some shady damage waiver that I questioned because this is unheard of where I come from. The so called boss called pops had no clear idea what exactly he was doing and the other guy was a heavy noob. And because I questioned their completely illegal waiver, they just refused to do anything and drove off. After I waited hours. They made it clear they didn't wanna do anything and looked for the excuse. I've been towing for 35 years and have never seen a worse company. EET deleted 1st review so again! Spun out on slippery road Cantrell "Dead Man's Curve", just rained. Phone fell passenger side so a local traffic officer called East End Towing. Rather than take it to the place we discussed they IMPOUNDED vehicle (and lied about saying police told them). We had asked how to pay them, they never actually answered so we said tow to Moore Robinson and they will pay them and put on our account. They lied again said they took to Firestone (verified by 2 Firestone stores they never showed up. I called and recorded both responses). East End didn't take to Moore Robinson as instructed. They intended on impounding the vehicle as this is their SCAM! Charged me $489 for this "wonderful service". When I said that is "f word" ridiculous the man in front yelled "GET THE H$LL OUT". I said no I want my vehicle. They "threatened to call the police on me because I said the "F" word." My sister was outside with 3 grown men in the office they tried to intimidate us by only letting 1 female in at a time. Don't even think about using these scammers. read more

You're in a pickle. Maybe someone hit your car, maybe your faithful sedan quit on your way home from work, or maybe (as was the case for me) you were driving from Texas to Connecticut in a cross-country move and your car decided spring a leak and jettison all of your coolant on the highway outside of Little Rock. In any case, the key thing here is that you'll need someone to come help you out. If you're in the area and you need a tow, I recommend these guys. They were quick, knowledgeable, and friendly, and their rate was quite reasonable. The dispatcher was very friendly, they went the extra mile to make sure my mom and I were comfortable in the cab, and gave me some friendly advice about getting my car fixed. There isn't much more you could ask for when you're in this situation, and I'm grateful for their help. read more
