Floral department

I stopped here after work my mama been calling asking about sweet potatoes! I ran in here and they have a pretty big array' of different flowers ! All beautiful and colorful . The Manager Dan was his name was so helpful I just asked can he show me which flowers were the ones that described the sign and he went above and beyond to even pick me a nice !! Bouquet!!...I was so grateful because I'm not a flower person and my mama is! I thanked him and went on my way!. I like this Wei's it's clean , they have everything in stock that I need and there's always someone there to help! Unlike other places we're everyone is mostly standing around together like they're in high school huddled needing to tell each other a secret real quick and you need help finding something. Other ones have an attitude like you're bothering them but I never see that in this Weis which I appreciate! . The parking lot is congested as hell but I love this Weis and it's people so thank you to whomever for the great widely stocked wines (I made spaghetti) sooo goood and great customer service and always having things in stock !

My first time on this store. Extremly big mega store which i belive is the anchor of the whole shopping center. The veggie section is somewhere small giving the size of the store. They have pretty much all product you will ever need, great store fast check out, employees are "mosly" nice price could be a little higher tham other places but the location is convenient.

Super long and slow lanes!

I believe the self checkout machines are new since the last several reviews don't mention them. I like to de them when I only have a handful of groceries. I stopped in after donating blood just to get milk, but of course I had to visit the Aldi Finds aisles. I was disappointed in their lack Easter chocolate selections. However, they had my favorite cookies once again. The Aussie style cookies are the bomb. The chocolate tastes like Belgium chocolate. Then as I was walking past the frozen case I saw my favorite salmon entree that I only find at Lidl. This salmon in a puff pastry is restaurant quality. It was $8.99. I would've bought two if I had more room in my freezer. This location is not on my way home, but next time I donate blood I will be back.

We were just getting juice, and I didn't really observe the store otherwise. Fast forward to now, LIDL has been missing some of my essentials, so I finally decided to check ALDI out since it's barely 5 minutes further out for me. Just a few feet in, and I immediately knew where everything was! There are two things I really like about this place: 1) The layout of the entire store - there is plenty of space between each aisle and they are neatly stocked. 2) The labeling for what's in each aisle - it is very easy to spot where things are since you have to be pretty blind to figure out where everything is. ALDI managed to have every single thing that LIDL was missing... my power greens, my bean and pea crisps, sweet potato chips, and even some hibiscus tea I had never seen before! It's nice to have this place as a secondary for shopping... I'm so excited! LIDL still has the upper hand for three reasons, however: 1) Rewards (self-explanatory) 2) It's half the distance from the house (though both are still very close) 3) Self-checkout. I don't really want to interact with people these days if I can help it.

They also have a build your own box which is nice when I have too many greens in the fridge but I still need some veggies. I just put "local" in the search box and I can find things that are nearby. I am definitely cooking and eating more veggies and I have discovered that I love dandelion greens! Emailed WGG multiple times over several weeks and only received an auto-response to call with urgent issues. However, calling goes straight to voicemail and does not allow you to leave messages, leaving me in a frustrating contact-less loop. Finally got a response when I emailed them that I planned to file a charge dispute with my credit card company, and was told to have the recipient email them when they wanted to use their gift certificate (...because they are clearly so prompt or available to respond to emails?). I requested a refund and have not heard back from them since. I am still working with my credit card to get the money they effectively stole back. I'm so disappointed because I was really looking forward to supporting this business and thought it would make a great gift for my friend, but now I'm $100 out and feeling scammed.

I usually have a pretty easy time locating what I need, and then I go to the self-checkout line and I'm on my way. This Giant is part of a much larger plaza that has plenty of parking, so that is never an issue. Holiday season is upon us, so I'm willing to bet there might be a wait in those lines depending on when I go!

I took my cart of items to the cashier line. When it was my turn for the cashier to check me out, I showed her that I had personal shopping bags for her to use. She continued to ring up my cart full of items. After she finished, she gave me total due, and I paid with my card. While I swiped the card, I thought to myself: "she has all of my items on the carousel nearly falling on the floor and has not bagged them. Maybe she'll bag them after I pay". To my surprise, that was not the case. I spent between 5 and 10 minutes working around the carousel to bag up 3 full shopping bags of items. What made it so bad, she watched me do this while ringing up the next customer behind me. After I finally bagged up my items ($150 worth), I was frustrated, felt slighted, and somewhat embarrassed that I received no help -- not to mention no "thank you" after she gave me the receipt. Giant Food has good quality items and products, but what does it matter if the customer service fails to match? The answer is that it doesn't matter.

I have given this store the benefit of the doubt for two years since I've lived in this area.
