The Pharmacy is the best in all respects. Like many others I love the market for everything and used to go out of my way for the sushi and maki rolls. However, I am deducting a star because lately, cost savings have entered the arena of sushi preparation. Sushi chefs have been told not to peel cucumber and the fish is sometimes not as carefully trimmed as it used to be. I am afraid I will no longer get sushi exclusively at Wegman;'s as I used to. Never do I like otherwise fine preparation done with thick skinned cucumber that spoils the refinement of what sushi types of rolls and cones, like the spicy tuna, should be. I'll be back for sushi when sushi is prepared like it used to be. Thanks for considering a change. read more

I can't recommend Wegmans enough. Not only is their bakery better than some high end Princeton dessert shops, their wine department is amazing. They will custom order your wine at best price in the area. Sandi is my go to all star there. read more

No other grocery stores will ever hold a candle to Wegmans! Love their expanded wine selection and excited to see more freezer selections coming soon! Now if they just add a restaurant! read more

This Wegmans has lost sight of its code mission to serve customers and provide a positive customer experience. The endless renovation and shifting of products takes all the fun out of shopping here and makes me annoyed and aggravated! It won't be complete until September. Really?! Why- what could be the value to the customer to deal with this mess for over 18 months. So disappointed in this company. read more

wegman's ought to be called "wegman's for the rich and stupid" one reviewer appreciated the variety offered at wegman's. ??? they offer one brand and it's wegman's. at the deli...no loefflers, boars head, deitz and watson, freda... just wegmans. they only offer like, 3 brands of bread and of course wegman's bread. most other supermarkets have at least a dozen choices for bread. it goes on and on. everything is obscenely overpriced and that includes their liquor store. wegman's is good for people who want to cook their own dinner, but can't cook, so they pay through the nose for prepared foods. want good selection, good quality and SERIOUS savings over wegman's? drive to a shop rite. the one at the pennington circle is the best. the other shop rites look like disco's or something. the rt. 31 shop rite is, admittedly a little tired, but they have excellent prices and good butchers and a decent produce manager. fish arrives fresh on thursdays. read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE front cashier... I simply asked a young lady (19, 20 years of age) if she could help me find a product because I wasn't sure what aisle it would be in, and she responded "That's not my f***ing problem your dumba** can't read a sign!" Another cashier (about the same age) was also there so I turned to her to ask for help and she just laughed and said "Not my problem either" I am extremely appalled! I have had nothing but great experiences there until this, it is very disappointing to know they hire young immature girls. read more

I come here at least once every 2 weeks. Very clean store with good selection of produce and products. It's also one of those Wegmans that carries liquor which it's a plus. Definitely recommend. read more

This supermarket is like a playground for adults and families! They even have free daycare while you shop! Sadly, Emmy isn't old enough, since you have to be at least 2 years of age, but... wow, that is really helpful for moms on a grocery mission! Also, I have to say that being a new parent, I adore that there are parking spaces designated to patrons with children, since the parking lot can sometimes seem like a battlefield... Also, they have like 3 different sized shopping carts to choose from, as well as sanitary handwipes to wipe down the cart before you use it... We love to go shopping on a Saturday or Sunday (even though it is packed and crazy inside!!!), because we make an afternoon of it; first we go have lunch (since they have a huge prepared food section, and Asian buffet), and then we shop till our little heart's content. Plus, if you go during the day, you will always get the freshest bread... still often warm when you take it off the shelf! YUM! And of course, just before we leave the building, we scour our pockets for loose change to play the mega millions lottery! Oh ya, one more majorly awesome thing... they have COIN STAR!!! Like when I get soooo poor and think I have not even a penny for my daily Dunkin Donuts ice coffee,... I raid our little coin jar and go to Weg's and "Voila!" Cashola! Anyhow, we will really miss Weg's after we move back West... Nothing will really compare... not even Whole Foods... read more

their prepared foods section is huge! the three of us had a hard time deciding what to eat until we saw the steak sandwiches. two of us ordered the steak and one had the fish. the mac 'n cheese side was pretty good too. definitely not what you think you're going to get when you go to a market's prepared foods section. another plus? the service both at the counter and at the checkout were really friendly and helpful. mmm next time i want to try their cheesy bread. read more

This Supermarket is the answer to every food shopper's dream. They have anything and everything that you want. From fresh to packaged foods to a wide variety of everything. They are also the only Supermarket that I know that sells beer. The only thing is that they ID everyone in your party and refuse to sell any alcohol to anyone, if one person in the party does not have ID. I understand their point of view, that they have strict guidelines, but ridiculous is ridiculous. They need to make an adjustment to this policy. It is only an inconvenience to their customers. read more

I love this store. The place makes you want to eat healthy and fresh foods as soon as you walk in. Excellent meat, produce, prepared foods, bakery, deli, extensive cheese section. It gets PACKED in here and parking can be a struggle depending on the time of day. read more

Definitely my favorite grocery store of all time. Let's start off with the actual groceries--huge variety that can't be beat. They have everything you could possibly be looking for from foreign to organic. They have most things whole foods would have so you don't need to go to a separate health food store. They have a very extensive cheese section that frequently gives out samples, which I greatly appreciate. They even have a candy and nut bar where you can mix and match, weigh, and pay. While their goods are a bit pricier than some grocery stores, they have amazing sales. I've found so many great deals here, particularly the baking aisle. Their hot foods are good too, much better than McCaffrey's. Wegman's baked goods section is definitely the best out of all the major grocery stores. They have a lot of tarts, expertly made. I always get my family's birthday cakes from here. Their vanilla cake is great! Very moist and the frosting is wonderful. Of course you can get better cakes at bakeries but since there are none the princeton region, Wegman's is my go-to place. read more

Super nice store, and not horrible to shop in, even though it is huge. Produce prices are usually disappointing. But they have THE BEST BAGUETTES I have been able to find around here (other than at like an actual patisserie), and I've tried every place I could think of. read more

Let me start by saying the prepared food is really good and a great deal for lunch (1/4 rotisserie chicken and 2 sides for $6.) The reason for 2 stars is that the store is always crowwed, the people are rude, and everyday it's like the end of the world is coming and everyone's stocking up. Checkout always takes a really long time because the cashiers are ridiculously slow. They have no concept of time, it's so aggravating. read more

the food court is really good, clean and is a fun experience. the sit down area is really good also. it has everything you need to enjoy your meal- silverware, napkins, plates, sauces, etc... there are clean bathrooms to top it off. there is a wide variety of food to choose from and the prices are reasonable and cheaper than whole foods's food court. read more

I lived in Rochester NY in the early 80's. Wegman's was the only thing I missed about Rochester when I moved back to the Delaware Valley. For years, I waited and waited for Wegman's to come to the area. I was there the day they opened in Princeton. I love Wegman's! read more

Wegman's has fresh vegetables and fruits, both high quality. The meat selection is lacking. It has everything that a basic grocery store has (junk food, dairy, etc, household items), but it also has the high-quality items that Whole Foods has (organic and gourmet items). The prepared food is superior, and the Asian buffet is pretty good. I like the decor, it feels like you're in an Italian market. read more

Hands down the best grocery store in the area. Wegmans has everything you want and many things you didn't know you wanted! I find prices in the grocery store and liquor store here to be below average. When you get to the prepared foods, you are going to start paying more, but the quality is worth it. read more

Definitely the best supermarket around, in terms of both quality and price. An incredible array of food options, too.

Aisle space! I swear this is one of the only stores in the area where you can comfortably get two carts past each other. Except for the incredibly narrow aisles in natural and organic foods area, where they lose a star. I think it's a little on the pricier side, but they do carry some higher end and hard to find items. The parking area can get insane scattered. It's convenient have a liquor store attached to it, but the selection is limited. The couple times I've eaten in the cafe upstairs it didn't look well kept up and there were napkins and leftover things everywhere. There are other places where you bus your own table, but they still have staff to wipe it down and pick up in between, and they should too. read more

Even in an area filled with many different grocery stores, Wegmans tops them all. Their liquor store has a fantastic selection of pretty much everything, their grocery store has nice prices on normal products and they even have "healthy"-type section, sometimes saving us a trip to Whole foods. All of their departments are great, especially the bakery and meat sections. We sometimes skip takeout or a restaurant and grab something from their hot food dept. Their staff is also very friendly. The liquor store employees always recommend us something good. Thank goodness we found this store! read more

Love this food store!! Great Seafood and bakery!! Would highly recommend. Nice organic food selection as well.

Wegman's is an experience to be sure, but that doesn't make up for an inferior selection of basic groceries (especially as compared to nearby ShopRite) and high prices (ditto ShopRite). Pluses include the bakery, the cheese selection, prepared foods and competitively priced liquor (relative to Joe Canal). Otherwise Whole Foods is superior for produce, meat and fish, and ShopRite for everything else. read more

The prepared foods along the right side of the store are what draws me to Wegmans, but there is no rhyme or reason as to when that area is functioning and stocked. Tonight I went there at 7 pm and the hot food bars and salad bar were about 75 percent shut down and the employees were putting everything away. I have a job during the day and when I go there after work I am often disappointed. A box of Cheerios you can get anywhere so if they aren't going to offer the stuff that makes Wegmans unique, they might as well close. read more

I love going to Wegman's because there's a lot more selection than shoprite. There are some cashier are very nice but there's one particular cashier ..... I think she's Indian- hindu/ could be Spanish- black... Kinda on the chubby side. She is horrible. She throw your grocery to the counter don't even bother to go ahead put the groceries in the cart. Wegman's really need to train these cashier to be courteous and helpful. read more

been shopping Wegmans Princeton for 4 years because the produce and meat are the best around. Can't stand going in other stores and seeing wilted vegetables and pre packaged produce! Today I noticed my pack of sirloin was two days past the date so I gave into the cashier and he promptly called someone to bring me a new one free of charge! And they apologized twice! That's great customer service! read more

I love Wegmans I shop there every other week. Love there produce and the wide variety of items to shop for. meat department is good also.

I love Wegman's but I've had bad experience after bad experience with this one. I used to buy their delicious pre-made portobella mushroom pizzas from the produce section, until not once but twice I purchased mushrooms that had a thick coating of mud caked to the bottom. They never bothered to wash them before stuffing them with cheese and tomatoes, let alone check for contaminants. The first time I chalked up to a fluke (even though it made my fiance sick, unfortunately he didn't notice before eating his, which would have been hilarious if he hadn't gotten so sick afterwards) and bought it again a few weeks later, still coated in mud on the bottom! Another time, also in the produce section, I saw someone who was chopping vegetables for those pre-cut packages drop some on the floor then put it straight back into the pile of other veggies without washing them. Be wary of anything prepared by Wegman's employees in that produce section. My other complaints are less gross, just things like their shrinking salad bar, the never-ending renovations, and that they stopped including crab cakes in their prepared foods dinner selections (his favorite, so now I have to drive to the Westfield Wegman's to get it for him which is a pain, or pay a fortune for the uncooked ones they do still sell a la carte). Bottom line, it is still a Wegman's and the choices for grocery shopping in this area are limited so I still shop there, but I am very careful about what I buy. read more

Ok, Wegman's is a great store.. Tons of Eye Candy, great prepared food, some fancy dancy stuff you won't find at the local grocery. On that side of the coin they are a 4 or 5. They are, however, pricey and inconvenient to get to. That complex basically has one way in and one way out. Be prepared to wait around getting in and out. Not my idea of a grocery store. I'd give them a 1 or 2. So to be fair, they are a 3 stars. read more

Wegmans in Princeton NJ is a very nice store. It had a overhaul a couple of years ago and it definitely is an improvement. The produce is good, and have a good selection..the baked goods, meats and fish, many kinds of cheese...all excellent. The store is clean and organized. The best part, for me, is the people who work there. Everyone is very courteous and helpful. I really appreciate that every time I checkout my items, the cashier always greets me with a smile and "hello"...and bags everything as it's rung up. They'll even engage in a nice chat as they work. It's very pleasant, fast and efficient. Whoever trains them there...good job! Grocery shopping can be a drag, so their efficiency makes it so much better. That's a pet peeve of mine. I shop at different stores in the Princeton area. Some markets aren't that nice and think it's beneath them to bag (Whole Earth Center), or shove the items in a pile to be bagged after ringing up..unless you bag it yourself (McCaffery's). Wegmans does the best job! read more

as good as a grocery store can get i guess.
