Wegmans MEALS2GO at 770 Broadway, in Manhattan, NYC is the place to pick-up breakfast, lunch or dinner when you have no time to cook. The food items are tasty and fresh and the service you receive is always top notch. The staff is always helpful when you are unable to locate a particular food item you have purchased before. The layout of store makes it easy to browse and take-in the aromas from the fresh baked items, flowers and cheese section. I highly recommend you give it a try.

This is an incredible grocery store if you're looking for high quality produce, packaged snacks, and prepared foods. They make sushi, Asian bowls, cakes, breads, and cookies. You can easily get lost here wandering the aisles.

This is solely a review for the sushi and sashimi. Decided to meet up with friends for a night in & was tasked to bring rolls. There is a big variety at Wegman's, so bought a little bitof everything. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail, veggie rolls, and shrimp tempura. There was some spicy and non spicy. The food was a hit, we didnt have much left over. I preferred it to other store bought sushi. It doesn't taste like it has been left in a case all day. It is already pre-made, so no one has to serve you. If you need anything, there are staff behind the counter. Store is two levels and very clean. Check out is quick. Will need to come back to shop for groceries!

A beautiful, clean and organized grocery store offering a variety of items - prepared foods, meats, breads, pantry staples and frozen foods. I also appreciate the gluten-free items that they carry - items that can be hard to find elsewhere. The service is fast and friendly. I've visited a few times and I really do appreciate having a Wegmans in the city.

I couldn't believe a Wegmans had opened up in Astor Place! Taking over where it was once Kmart, as other Wegmans, they offer various cheeses, desserts, meat and produce, seafood, prepared items, a deli, a health & wellness section, etc. We loved the fresh flowers that they had available! One thing to note is that their restrooms were extremely dirty and not well taken care of - not even worth in standing in line to use them! The place was extremely jam-packed, and there were some specials that were happening. Easily accessible. +avoid the restrooms +fresh flowers

    Beautiful store!

Beautiful store stocked on the first floor for those who want grab and go along with bakery, flowers and the gender restrooms. Sushi, a cooked to order Asian food bar, and salads galore! Downstairs is the fresh produce, fresh meats and seafood bars along with cheeses and, wait for it...., prosciutto! Lots of varieties of prosciutto to star in your charcuterie party board. There are so many jewels of goodness here. Oh, and the staff. The gentleman in the produce department addressed as he thought we needed help. What a kind gesture. This to me speaks to his character and the values of Wegmans. Way to go!

I've started a new journey to find the best grocery store rotisserie chicken in the United States of America. This is running parallel with my current journey to find the best rotisserie chicken in the world. Two separate journeys, as I can't imagine a grocery story will even sniff the top 10 overall. Anyways, first up is Wegmans. $9.99 for a whole Rosemary Rotisserie chicken. I went with the non-organic, as I feel like I need to keep this consistent across all grocery stores. I took my whole chicken to the park, sat on a bench, and recorded myself ripping into this tissy like a dork. I also bought a bottle of water, as I was expecting this to be dry as hell. Honestly, this chicken blew me away. Wegmans came to COMPETE. The skin was pretty crispy and the meat surprisingly tender and juicy. When I ripped into the leg, it lowkey fell off the bone. I was in shock. I didn't even need the water. Final score was 8.5 out of 10. Overall, Casa Adela is my #1 Rotisserie Chicken in America at a 9.7. I can't imagine a grocery store beating this, although Costco's tissy seems to have plenty of fans. Whole Foods is next. I'll keep y'all updated. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with Wegmans. Before I start my review, because I'm in Store Management, core values are really important. It's nice to see Wegman's core values listed as Employees First, Diversity and Inclusion, Sustainability, Feel Your Best and Community Giving. Now, does a company, any company, live by these values CONSISTENTLY? Well this is my first visit so I respect and admire the values and will continue to visit and see. First the space.. impressed with the layout, spacious, immaculate, nice presentation of food, kind employees. As for the food well.. subway sandwiches, hot food, cold food, cheese and fruit, bakery, sushi.. if you can't quench your thirst or feed your hunger here then...??? Second: it's peaceful shopping which despite the location, East Village, how can you achieve this? Ask Wegman's because they are! Third: organized checkout; self or cashier. Fourth, there are restaurants located inside Wegman's: Amore, Burger Bar and Next Door. I will explore them in future visits Fifth: the architecture is quite stunning, original design from historic Wanamaker building. Sixth: convenient hours of 7am-11pm. Seventh: Location: 770 Broadway I just loved the shopping experience, only small disconnect the flower department should have prices listed on the plastic wrap of the flowers. Wegmans' here's another core value to add: Happy Customers=Loyal Customers. I'm one of those customers! Transportation: Take R train to 8th and Broadway, exit from NE exit and walk 1 minute to Wegman's.

    Seafood from Wegmans

Update: When Wegmans first opened I was super excited. They had an array of food items from hot food stands and tons of seafood options. I don't know what happened but there has been a significant budget cut on the quantity & quality of food options. They have done away with all of the seafood except for the fish downstairs. I use to get grilled shrimp & amazing sandwiches from here which are now non-existent. if I'm in the area I will grab some sushi and they have freshly made oatmeal cream pie cookies with buttercream filling that I like which are expensive but that's all I have been reduced to getting. The budget cuts are evident leaving the store limited & so uninteresting.

Probably the best place to buy regular groceries in this area of town. If you go on certain days/ hours (which I will not reveal) the store is nearly free of people and the shopping experience is so peaceful. Appreciate the selection of meats, although they could use a butcher counter. The variety of brand names boxed goods and coffee is unmatched. I'm a big fan of their buffalo chicken sub. The biggest issues this store has is the escalators often go down and during some times, the Instacart guys abound. The prepared food on the first level, although good quality is often crazy overpriced.

    Sweet treats sold in bakery

A harried and unwelcoming experience. Customers and the store staff run through the place as if they are being chased. It's hard to find what you need and harder to search with people running into you. I purchased a premade salad, and it was expensive, but no better than any other supermarket premade salad sold anywhere else. On another occasion, I walked through to look at their offerings, but left without making a purchase, the prices are a turn off. The shift manager supervising the self-checkout ( visitors are corralled though the checkout section to exit regardless if you have made a purchase) asked me if I needed help as she looked me up and down. The question was not intended to be helpful; she was implying I was shoplifting. Rude. And unwelcoming. And expensive. And no thank you!

We have developed a congenial friendship which was founded on La Fermière yogurts. Emre knows that I price shop so invariably I know when the time is right to buy these delicious yogurts at Eden. I often buy Siggi yogurts as here they are $1.99 each. The ladies - Dolores, Affou, Mamata, Savita, Tofu - at the checkout are friendly, kind and remember customers. A few speak French which I practice with them. Being originally Greek, the Dolmas in the prepared food section, are plump and particularly tasty. It's worth buying a few to take home. Adam looks taciturn but always is kind to me. He is behind the deli counter preparing sandwiches and always gives me a quarter pound of the Jambon de Paris. Miguel and Medina are also here. A loyalty card is worth having and once having accumulated many points I paid the princely sum of $1.61 for a pretty bouquet of roses in assorted colors that cost $11.99. Now that's a steal! Eden Gourmet is the sister supermarket to my beloved sadly closed Eden Gourmet of 14th street. This too is packed to the brim with fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, dairy, chicken and meats. A large variety of sparkling waters, frozen entrees, ice creams and assorted temptations are here too. A small bakery has cakes and pastries available. I pop in often to get milk or to see what's new and always to say hello to everyone. I always feel happy coming to Eden Gourmet Marketplace!

You'll get all the usual grocery store sections, including fresh produce and a deli counter in the back. There isn't a ton of variety, with maybe two or three options for most items. But those options are consistently high quality. Whoever is stocking the shelves has good taste! The setup for paying is a bit weird, they've got a long counter up front in lieu of the usual registers with lanes. It can make lines a bit confusing during busier times, but not a dealbreaker by any means.
