Been here a couple of times and would take the drive 20 mins away just to get good, fresh, inexpensive food. I'm allergic to wheat and they have a ton of prepackaged wf and gf snacks and other foods. They even have gf sushi. What's great about here is that they seem to price the unhealthy foods higher than the healthy options. Thumbs up on that! read more

This Wegman's reminds me of what we called "the big" Wegmans when I was in graduate school in Rochester. So, I really like it. I admit it's not the biggest, poshest store ever, but it's cute and charming and has all the brands I like and can't find at Shop Rite or Fresh Market. read more

Disappointing to say the least. I was so excited to peruse their prepared foods section and upon arrival everything appeared to be dried out and not very appealing. They only had 2 flavors of wings, Buffalo and BBQ, I would have expected gourmet flavors like Thai Chili or Garlic Parmesan... Nope just the same flavors I can find at Acme. I then went to the Asian section and saw the Kung Pao Chicken as I grabbed a container a girl dumped a tray of Kung Pao Shrimp on top of the chicken. I asked her why she did that and she insisted that it was chicken. Okay, back to the wings, because nothing else looked appetizing and man was I hungry, the wings were mushy and bland. I grabbed some chocolate chip cookies for my kids (and myself) and again inconsistent experience between flavors, some dried out and old and some overly moist, most cookies were so thin where they just fell apart in the bag. read more

I have been driving in from Manhattan to shop here. I grew up shopping at Weggies, worked there for six years, so I am part of the cult following. The prices are better than what I get from PeaPod by Stop and Shop and the quality far surpasses it. My produce stays fresh so much longer. The store setup is great-wide aisles, fully stocked shelves. They restock overnight so huge carts aren't blocking the aisles. Pretty empty in the morning. read more

One great supermarket. Nice wide isles, large selection of foods, including competitively priced organic foods. The food bar has salads, pizza, Mexican, Asian, Italian, Homestyle, all delicious. They also have fresh made sushi, hamburgers, pizza and deli sandwiches. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Best of all is the Wegman's app. You can create your shopping list and they organize the items by isle so that you know where to find what you are looking for. read more

Love that this store is so close and their quality is excellent. The store has great fish, meats, baked items, and deli items. Not a lot to find wrong here. The only thing I noticed missing compared to other Wegmans I've visited is fried chicken. Certainly not a deal breaker though. This store is leaps and bounds over Shop Rite, Acme, and the other local chains in Bergen County. Parking was easy although the parcel of land is still under development from the farm that was purchased. read more

Some items are competitively priced, some aren't, so you'll have to pick and choose what to get here, but you'll definitely find whatever you were looking for. Wegmans has an exceptional selection of everything. I was both surprised and excited to shop based on all the terricfic reviews. My experience was exceptional unitil I was checking out. The cashier was pleasant to the person in front of me and completely ride to me. I found it incredibly amazing on the rudeness and unprofessionalism this person was displaying. From the non existent greeting, to the tossing of my items. I'm from NYC so folks behaving in this matter makes me laugh but I wanted to write this review to advise anyone that might be taken aback to this behavior. read more

They get it all right! You can take it from me I'm an instacart shopper, as well as a past supermarket employee veteran, and I frequently shop here and most if not all of their competitors! Great food, great selection, and great prices! Most of all Happy employees which are always great to deal with and actually like their jobs and always deal with customers in a courteous manner! My only suggestion is to put arrows on the floor to help guide the flow of customer traffic, as on busy days it's basically a free for all. Arrows on the right pointing forward, arrows on reverse side pointing the other way in "racetrack perimeter." Great meat, fish, vegetables! The Wegmans Brand is really good in almost everything and you can't beat 4 gallon box of water (Private labeled Crystal Geyser upstate NY spring) for only $2.99! Frozen veggies in microwave packs for .99! Their private labels brand name items are a steal and are of excellent quality! The burger bar, sushi, hot food, sandwich bar all amazingly good and my go-to place for meals during my Instacart shifts. Best of all you can get delivery thru Instacart to most of Bergen and Rockland County! read more

Such a great place to shop. I love that their produce is fresh and there is so much to choose from. We have gotten a lot of fresh seafood (tuna steaks, oysters, shrimp & scallops and it's always fresh! Their beer/wine/liquor selections are also great and prices are very reasonable. read more

I'm getting tired of Wegmans, the prepared foods by the pound is very expensive. I do however like the burger bar, I like the fact that you can get a gluten-free bun and they don't charge extra :-) if you get the larger burger they could ask you how you like your burger cooked. Are usually opt for the smaller burger and it comes cooked well done. I heard that so you should have a burger anyway so I don't complain about that. PLT, get the salad with the burger. Large and in charge! A huge store that the area apparently craved like rabid animals. My husbands favorite part was the Pick Your Own Beer section . I loved the private room they have in there where they host wine tastings etc. Only thing is I gave my email and have never received any information on any events. I have never liked food shopping. Before I went to Wegmans of course! Wegans is big, really, really big. It is probably the size of more than 10 CVS'. Not only do they have everything you will need for your house (And more!). They also have in-store restaurants! Some of these restaurants are Burger Bar and MarketCafe. They also have a large buffet. I highly recommend Wegmans shopping center. read more

Been coming here since it opened a little over a year but disappointed many times. Only stop in when I really need something and don't want to drive farther to get it. Huge store so you'd think they'd have a lot of selection on items. Wrong! Stopped in once to get a quart of oil for my car however, found out they don't carry any. Every other supermarket I've been to carries motor oil. Another time, wanted some Haagen Daz ice cream. Very limited selection. Didn't even carry Rocky Road. Bakery department leaves a lot to be desired. Almost everything is sugar coated. They seem to have improved in their produce department. Vegetables, again although limited, are a decent price. Their hot buffet is pretty good too. Big cheese department and cheese selections. Meat department is awful and expensive. Seafood department is very expensive too. At those prices I'd rather go to the fresh fish market (better prices too). I just don't get how a huge store like that could have such limited selections on everyday items. Other smaller supermarkets seem to have more selections (Uncle Giuseppe's, Shop-Rite). read more

My parents, who have visited me so often out here in CA and have always lamented the sad state of their grocery stores, couldn't wait to take me over the NY border to this new Wegmans. They said it reminded them of Whole Foods and other markets we've frequented out here. It's enormous! And you could spend an entire day just browsing, then having lunch, browsing some more, then having dinner. What I noticed most was how friendly the staff was - we had pleasant conversations with several employees - the butcher, a woman at the cheese counter, etc. All expressed how much they enjoyed working here. On my last day, before my flight back to SFO, we came back to have lunch and I ordered an Italian hero for the plane and some marble rye. The latter wasn't as good as the Rockland Bakery, but it was sure better than anything I get out here. Looking forward to my next trip here. read more

Price: Certain things are always an excellent price. Almost all wegmans branded items will beat competitor prices and to my surprise cant tell the difference. Ground beef and raw chicken excellent daily price by the family pack. Fruits and veggies fair prices typically. The deli, seafood, bakery, and meat department is on the higher priced side. Fresh homemade bread at the bakery though pretty nice! Lots of money can be saved at this supermarket sticking with the wegmans brand, but if you dont know your prices it can be significantly more than your average trip to shoprite, but not if you only pick wegmans brand which is a good idea! Customer Service: Its pretty good...not apple or disney customer service...for a supermarket its the best i have seen. Cooked food: Lots of it to go 9.49 per pound. Not so cheap but its decent and better than any supermarket I have been to. Wegmans is like trader joes, whole foods, aldi, shoprite, all mixed under one roof incorporating the best of each Food court: burgers, sandwiches, pizza, sushi, seafood sandwich cart, soup station, and probably 50 cooked items including chinese, italian, and bbq. Nice option to choose a fast lunch or dinner for the family....but again at 9.49lb not the cheapest. read more

By far the best produce quality & selection around. It's also the best place to get everything you need to make a beautiful & delicious charcuterie board. Their frozen fish (yes, I buy the frozen, vacuum sealed fish) is so delicious that it tastes fresh after you cook it. I also like to buy the vacuum sealed steaks & then freeze them. I can everything I need in the International isle & they have a terrific snacks section too. read more

Stay away if you value your sanity! This is a large, poorly laid out store. On the weekends it is a Mecca for the "browsers" from all over NJ. It is almost impossible to get through the aisles, with many abandoned carts and couples, each of whom have their own cart. As you might have guessed, I hate shopping and my goal is to spend as little time as possible in Wegmans (or any store). Unfortunately, it is the closest market to my house and Nanuet's Fairway, which was a truly great store, closed (because of wegmans?). I would think a visit to wegmans is like a visit to BJ's club. No thank you! I suggest only going to wegmans late at night or midweek. But as I said, good luck infringing anyhinhgthing. Honestly, Fresh Market has a much better class of customers and is no more expensive and no one is piling up shopping carts like the Himalayas at fresh market. Just a different class of customers at the two. They only have two express lanes and about 20 regular lanes. Again, don't go on the weekend!! read more

(Delivery) I really love this store. I was always happy with their service even during Covid, thank you for that but my experience with their delivery service was horrible. Everything was delivered on time but 30% of the items were incorrect. When you order meat in a specific price, they can (and most likely will) give you cheaper and smaller meat than the one you paid for, without compensating the price difference (this isn't just my experience but my friends had this happen as well. The delivery option seemed very convenient but the quality of the service will prevent me from using it at all. read more

I was lucky enough to discover Wegmans while I was at school in PA. And my family would come up to visit me and always stopped at Wegmans before they went home. We were thrilled when we heard about one opening up down the street from us. It's a store you can walk into not having a clue as to what you want and walk out with everything you need and then some. read more
