Hey guys. I would like to give you all my review of Weed Solutions based out of Mansfield and owned by Kevin Seeton. We had large amounts of dallisgrass so we hired Weed Solutions to spray and hopefully control them. They came out 4 times. They missed several areas during one trip and sprayed a second time very shortly after one application. Their last visit was in mid September. It's is now late October and my lawn is dead. Dead, not dormant. Not only is all the grass dead. There still remains a bunch dallisgrass. When I asked for my money back, now that I am going to have to pay to have my yard seeded again, I was told by the owner Kevin Seeton that there was nothing he could do. Perhaps my yard was just a fluke by not timing the applications far enough apart. Maybe they are usually a great company to work with. They only thing I know is Kevin made no effort to work to fix the problem, he only refused to return the couple hundred that we gave him. My suggestion is to find another company or your yard might end up dead and burnt. read more

Kevin, I appreciate the fact that you took the time to followup and comment. It is 9/12 and our original communication texting occurred a few days after. In your response here and via text you've insulted my intelligence. However, you did not follow up even after a fellow fire fighter in my neighborhood reached out to you on my behalf. No soil sample, not even let us come out in look at it. Nothing. You have stood by your word. I have a couple small business and I would not let a client wait as long as this to reach out address their problem. Better yet insult them by deflecting to calling it microscopic chinch worms. I've treated my grass for years, and I do know what my grass looks like before and after with Pixs to prove it. Perhaps you can help me and others understand, why my Bermuda is green and my Saint Augustine grass is dead in portions and dying in other parts. In this treatment you prepared Dallas Grass killing chemicals. However, those same chemicals used for Dallas Grass Kills St Augustine grass. Before and after pictures paint a different story than you claim. Nonetheless, I'm willing to let you fix the problem, because it was not there before your last treatment. If you choose to fix the problem great, if I have to ask you nicely to fix your problem, then that's a different issues other than fixing a mistake caused by your technician. My yard has never looked as good as it does since we started using Weed Solutions, we also use them for mosquito control in the summer. Owners are as good as they come, customer service is top notch. If you ever have a problem or concern, call them and Kevin will take care of it. Their staff is always professional when they come out, as well. We get notifications before they come out, but we do not have to be home when they come (we unlock the gate and leave to dogs inside on those days). Update(8/23/2019): Kevin was able to reach out to me and we discussed my concerns and the appearance of why I thought the way I did in my review. He assured me that there was not going to be an extra cost to cover the other trees I had in my yard. Also in regards to the not coming back out, it was due to them coming back around the following week, it was just that wasn't disclosed before. So everything had been addressed and still leaving at 4 stars just due to those issues in communication and will update in the coming year as matters improves. read more

I just hired Kevin's company to start treating our lawn. We have a lot of clover and other undesirables that I hope he can help with. This should be the first week they treat my lawn. Staff, service, responsiveness is 5 star. But being you are paying for lawn service I gave them 3 for that. After almost a year of service my yard was still spotty, brown, and full of weeds. When I called to complain they came out the same day to take a look. The next day they retreated for free. But after a few weeks the lawn was right back to the old state. read more

Weed Solutions has always taken great care of my property. Kevin has always responded to my calls in a timely manner. He always educates me about the process and time the treatments are being applied. I understand from day one that the best results were going to be achieved after a full season of treatments. He was right on! All my neighbors are asking me who I use now. Occasionally a few weeds came up between treatments and I would send them a quick email. They would respond the same day and usually that same day there would be someone there spot treating those few weeds I had. A terrific, local company I've been using for years. I looked over the negative reviews and feel I need to pass on what I've learned. In most instances you're not going to see substantial results the first season you get the service. This is the same for any weed service. It was after a season of fertilization and control that I really saw the benefit in the next year. Also, I was still responsible for mowing and watering per their recommendations.
