Fantastic teachers and a wonderful program to support kids before they enter Kindergarten. All three of my daughters will go here!

We just finished our time at Little Sunshine's after sending both of our kids through the program…read moreover six-plus years, and I can honestly say we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Ms. Jessica, Erin and Heather greeted our daughter by name every single morning and every afternoon when she walked out the door. They also knew our son by name and asked him how school was going every time he came to pick up his sister. That kind of consistent, genuine warmth is not something you take for granted as a parent. We were lucky enough to have Ms. Belinda for both kids, and she was simply the best. When our daughter said Ms. Belinda was her favorite teacher, she meant it with her whole heart. That kind of bond between a teacher and a child is rare, and we will always be grateful for it. I want to be clear that I am calling out these four by name because of the outsized impact they had on our kids, not because everyone else fell short. In six-plus years, we never once had a negative experience with a single person on that staff. That consistency, across that many years and two children, is extraordinary. If we had more kids, they would be going to Little Sunshine's. No question.

After that, we received no communication for 14 months. When we finally reached out, Little Sunshine reneged on their promise of part-time care and had no opening available as originally assured. When we asked for a refund (given that we paid the fee based on inaccurate information) we were told the fee is non-refundable, even though staff acknowledged that multiple families have expressed similar frustrations about misleading waitlist practices. We were promised a follow-up from a higher-up, but no one ever called. In our view, the $350 waitlist fee was paid under deceptive and misleading circumstances, and the lack of communication and accountability has been very disappointing.

I regret not putting my son into her care when I first had the opportunity, because I can see a difference of discipline in my son compared to my daughter. JillMatie loves having external teachers come and teach the kids. There was a music teacher, and outdoors teacher, and right now they have a Spanish teacher, which just helps motivate my daughter when I'm teaching her at home! I'm sure there have been more teachers, I just can't remember them off the top of my head, right now. All around, JillMarie loves her families. I can attest to that. I feel like an extended part of her family. There's a little garden she and the kids work on. The kids do cute artsy projects, and more. I feel like she is a top homecare-provider. C.V.C. feels professional, and clean. JillMarie puts so much effort into making sure the kids are getting quality care. She's the real deal. I'm glad C.V.C. and JillMarie exist!!!

Knowing that our daughter was in a place that provided a such a loving, comfortable environment made the transition a breeze for our whole family. There is a great mix of learning through play, music, art, and time outdoors. Above all, this was our daughter's second home. A place that we always knew she was safe, secure, and loved. We will truly miss JillMarie and CVC.

This was very uncharacteristic of her. One Monday, at pick up my daughter was the only child left and I found her in a corner by herself crying. I was unable to settle her or get her to stop crying until after we got home that night. The teacher told me that my daughter was isolated like that after the other children had been picked up to work on 'regulating her emotions' (at just over a year old?). On Wednesday that week, when I picked her up, she was hysterical (again, this is very unlike her at home or in previous daycare). There was another child still in the class and a second teacher present this time. When I went to lift her up, the teacher told me that my daughter's hair was wet because "she needed to be spritzed a couple of times to help her regulate her emotions when she would not stop crying." I then noticed that her hair was soaked. I looked at the teacher in shock and she pointed at the wall where several spray bottles were hanging up and she stated that "some kids actually like being sprayed." I left immediately to gather myself and calm my child. I then emailed the director and requested an immediate meeting. We requested that a letter be sent to families of other children that could have also been treated this way by their teacher. Since a letter has yet to come out, and may never, I feel responsible to share our story with others. This is especially important since children in these classrooms aren't yet able to communicate these things with us. Ultimately, we lost trust in the school. Felt like there is a big miss here in terms of teacher education and general oversight in the classrooms. We pulled our daughter out. She has since joined a new daycare and is thriving. I am hopeful that the state licensing agency can help the school to reach the standard of other Goddard schools that we have previously known and loved.

I have two kids here and we started over 4 years ago -- I've had a kid in every single room at this school, from early infant to private kindergarten, and many of the same teachers have been there the whole time. My kids love it. They are happy to go to school in the morning, and typically not ready to leave at the end of the day. I am so grateful for Primrose School of Erie!

Our younger boy started in the same school when he was 10 month old in 2014. Now they are 7 and 4, and our older one is in elementary school now. We love Primrose! Our boys always have wonderful time with Primrose. With caring teachers, wonderful staff, great curriculum, our boys have been growing into very confident, caring, and loving kids. They love their teachers. They love to make friends. They grew up with some good friends from infant classrooms to Pre-K or Kindergarten and they still have play dates and miss each other outside of the school. They love circles times and small groups everyone. They have learnt so much in school and often amazed us! Primrose has been an important part of our life in the last few years. We trust this school so much because we know our little ones would have great time there everyday. And if they have any issues, there are someone caring in school who is going to take care of them and to discuss issues with us. We are glad we made great choice to send our boys to this school a few years ago and strongly recommend this school to new parents! Thanks
