During one visit I saw one of the clerks be very rude to a woman who inquired about the price of a boy's jacket-her answer was, "oh, that's Burberry, it's very expensive." The implication being-you can't afford it. Hardly anything sold-both my friend and I made the same amount, in the neighborhood of twenty dollars. A few months later I stopped in to see if anything else had sold, and saw some of my daughter's clothes hanging on the racks (items are supposed to be donated after three months on the selling floor-this was nearly a year later). I asked about it and was told they hadn't been able to get all their merchandise out the prior fall, so had saved it and were putting it out now. I was assured that my consignment number was on the clothing, and if it sold I would get my share of the selling price. I have since called three times to see if anything sold-once I talked to a person, gave my name and number and consignment number and was told she would check and call me back (she never did). Twice I left messages. No one has returned them. I guess I'll have to stop in and find out if anything sold, and then I am done with them. The whole experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would not bother consigning here.

I came in with a romper I had bought my 12 yr old. It was quite expensive and she wore it once and the seams were unraveling. When I first showed it to an obviously new sales girl. She told me it didn't come from there store. I assured her it did and told her she could look it up in my profile. I then went to shop with my two girls. The woman never came back to tell me she did find the transaction I had to approach her at which time she told me she couldn't help me but Melissa would be back soon and wait for her. So I waited and waited. Finally Melissa arrives and takes one look at this unraveling romper and says" I will have someone sew it for you it's an easy fix" Wrong answer. I explained I didn't want it fixed because it was obviously made poorly and for the money I paid last didn't want "someone stitching up thank you very much " She said well I'm not taking it back" This woman can see I am standing there with more clothes to buy today...the right answer is "I am so sorry I know you shop with us often let me give you a credit towards your purchase today. She was beyond rude thus I put down the clothes I was going to purchase and picked up my phone to write this yelp review. I will not shop there again. If you are going to have top prices then you best have top customer service to match it. Shameful behavior especially given the number of places to mediocre overpriced children's items in this area. I never would have expected it from this store. But it only takes once to lose a customer for life. I hope not taking back a damaged romper was worth exactly that.. Because that is what it cost you.

    I placed an order for a Nuna car seat from The Piccolina Shop on May 31, 2025 after seeing it…read morelisted as available on their website. My credit card was charged immediately and I received an order confirmation. For several months, the car seat never shipped. During that time, communication from the shop initially seemed reassuring. Up until around January, I did receive responses, but each time I was given a different explanation for why the order was delayed and was repeatedly promised that it would ship soon. Over the course of these conversations, I was told the delay was due to things like tariffs, updated product codes, the color being in high demand, and other supply issues. Each time I was told it should ship in the next few weeks or months. Unfortunately, the item still never shipped. After months of waiting and repeated promises that were never fulfilled, communication eventually stopped altogether. I was left with no real resolution and ultimately had to dispute the charge with my credit card company in order to recover my money. After looking into this further, I found that other customers have reported similar experiences online. My advice to anyone considering ordering from this business is to proceed with extreme caution. Charging customers immediately for products that are never shipped and repeatedly delaying with new explanations is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. They claim to reopen in 2027. I hope they never reopen at all. Happy ending: I was able to order the Nuna car seat in the Biscotti color from a reputable retailer once it was back in stock, and it arrived quickly and exactly as promised. I only wish I could get back the months I spent chasing updates and excuses from The Piccolina Shop about why my order hadn't shipped yet. Thankfully my credit card company stepped in and refunded the charge during the dispute process. Lesson learned: I'll be sticking with reputable retailers who actually deliver the products they sell.
