I've purchased from them before and will NEVER shop here again if they insist on treating in customers so poorly and instilling such rigid, money-grubbing policies that seem to punish the very customers patronizing their business. She got her ears done by needle about a month ago and she was due for her posts to be shortened. It's been difficult to get an appointment at most of the locations because despite the stores being open, there might not be a nurse on site. We arrived a little early and it looked like they were in the middle of getting some social media/marketing shots done. We tried our best to stay out the the way. The nurses came up, Christine and Melani (apologies if I fudged the spelling). It seemed like Melani was being trained and I appreciated being asked for permission to allow her to change the posts on my daughter. I'm in medical myself, so I understand the need for hands-on training. My kiddo was calm and if she felt any pain she didn't let on. They were gentle and made sure everything was set the right way before sending us off. I completely forgot the name of the woman that checked us out. She was also very nice. While my daughter was being serviced, I inquired about getting my tragus pierced and Christine checked out the ear and said it shouldn't be a problem. I think I will come back to get my own piercings done very soon!

I bring him all my fine jewelry--for resizing, re-stringing, cleaning, and more. He and his warm and delightful wife, Dawn, are a fantastic team. I first met Frank after seeing a banner in his window, "Pearls restrung while you wait." Other jewelers usually send pearls out for restringing, and in addition to the annoyance of having to wait several weeks to have them back, at least one warned me of the risk involved: Better quality pearls could be stolen and replaced with inferior ones when "restrung." Having then done on the spot resolved both issues. Frank did a beautiful job, and he has been my jeweler ever since. In addition to the services mentioned, Frank and Dawn offer a nice collection of new and vintage pieces. Even if I don't have a piece that needs repair, I like to stop in to browse the jewelry they have for sale. I've been extremely satisfied with everything I've bought. One caveat: If you see something you like, particularly in their vintage jewelery, don't hesitate! I've missed out on a couple of things by not acting fast enough.

Regarding making my wedding ring larger, two Bronx jewelers informed me that my wedding ring could not be made bigger because it has a feather-like design on it and it would be ruined if altered. (Palmer Jewelers was able to do it and you couldn't even tell anything had been done to it). Palmer Jewelers to the rescue! The three women who work there are exceptionally kind and considerate, even offering me water, as it was quite warm outside. The pendant was repaired and my ring resized in a few weeks. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a professional jeweler, who really did a fine job on my jewelry. Also, they have exquisite jewelry for sale. The ladies who work there go above and beyond to be kind, compassionate and professional.
