We came here today for a post changing. I wish I knew about this location when our kiddo got her ears pierced, since it is much closer to us. She got her ears done by needle about a month ago and she was due for her posts to be shortened. It's been difficult to get an appointment at most of the locations because despite the stores being open, there might not be a nurse on site. We arrived a little early and it looked like they were in the middle of getting some social media/marketing shots done. We tried our best to stay out the the way. The nurses came up, Christine and Melani (apologies if I fudged the spelling). It seemed like Melani was being trained and I appreciated being asked for permission to allow her to change the posts on my daughter. I'm in medical myself, so I understand the need for hands-on training. My kiddo was calm and if she felt any pain she didn't let on. They were gentle and made sure everything was set the right way before sending us off. I completely forgot the name of the woman that checked us out. She was also very nice. While my daughter was being serviced, I inquired about getting my tragus pierced and Christine checked out the ear and said it shouldn't be a problem. Terrible experience!! I have cerebral palsy, a broken foot, and cancer. I'm not convinced the "nurse" is a real nurse. Mine did not help me up onto the seat, though my cane, foot boot, and limp were obvious. I even told her I'd recently broken my foot. She tried to lower one seat, but couldn't get it down. Got the second seat down but it was still really uncomfortable to get into. I had discussed my piercing online with someone before going in. She told me that all needle piercings were with flat back earrings. This is what I needed for two reasons - 1) I cannot get butterfly back earrings on and off myself, and 2) my oncologist told me to only do needle piercings... but now I know, the nurse used the gun. My oncologist told me NOT to go to a place that uses guns because they are not sterile. Also, butterfly earrings hurt to sleep in. I have trouble sleeping due to my treatment, and this will make it worse. Again - I wanted flat back earrings. The nurse never asked me what kind of piercing I wanted, needle or gun. From my email with the person online, I thought they only did needle. I am not familiar with how the different options look. I have a speech impairment, and I felt like I was not being consulted about my wishes because the nurse was not comfortable with my speech impairment. Again... really a nurse?? (And I'm, seriously, a doctor!!) She went to get the manager after I realized the error. The manager was also condescending, saying she couldn't do much because the earrings were already in. I wanted them taken out altogether. Nobody was listening. The manager told me I did better with the ones I got, because the flat back needle piercings are more expensive. Felt like a "Pretty Woman" moment, which felt so icky. Again, I'm a doctor, I could afford the items I wanted. I was prepared to spend up to $500, based on pricing I'd done online. Also - HUGE PROBLEM. When the manager came out, she checked my piercings. She told the nurse that something was wrong with the way the nurse did it. Why do the nurses not know how to properly do an earlobe piercing?? This made me very nervous. I will never go back, on this point alone. I was celebrating the end of a very difficult few months of my cancer treatments. I'm still on treatment, just not the kind that's been keeping me in the bathroom for the past 3 months. Instead, I got an ableist, demoralizing experience. Please, teach your staff to talk to patrons - ALL patrons - about a piercing before doing it. Explain the different types of piercings, and the benefits/risks of both. Let people pick out the expensive earrings if they want - don't assume, or congratulate someone on a screwed up experience because they saved so much money. Thanks for making my cancer-treatment-end celebration so "memorable." I appreciate the discounted cost, but as you can see, there are reasons I wanted what I wanted. read more

Let me start by saying my initial piercing experience was amazing. My nurse who pierced me was kind, quick and very knowledgeable. I loved it! Now on to today's experience...I went in for a downsize of both the piercings. Now, upon the first time in they said the down size is a part of the piercing and to come back when it's healed (they'd reach out to me). It is part of the piercing and it's recommended to come do so. I guess I should have asked more about this because upon coming back in today, I was under the assumption this is a part of the original price and that it "comes with" the changing of the earring. I was wrong and when I checked out they told me a price I was surprised to pay! I understand pricing costs and things do cost money, however, there should have been a better form of communication the first time around and to clearly state, it costs 25$ to change each post. Had I known, I would have left it alone or just changed them when I was ready to. 1 star for poor communication and not honoring what they originally told me. Do better, Rowan! read more

Quality workmanship but very expensive! The staff that performs the piercings, at least the one I worked with, was very friendly and professional and seemed to know a great deal about what she was doing. She made sure that old scar tissue from previous piercings was removed and not just punctured through by using a hollow point needle instead of the puncture mechanism. The process was fast and very minimal pain. They give you good directions on how to care for your piercings and provide spray solution to keep them clean. I had no issues after the piercings, no irritation or infection, all was well. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the pricing, hidden costs and lack of transparency. They led me straight to what was probably their most expensive earrings, never discussed pricing with me at all. And yes, my bad, I did not ask, I never could have imagined just how much they were charging for those teeny tiny earrings! So after completing the piercing I find out it is over $300 because the little earrings were over $200!!!! And above that, she tells me (after she'd already done it) that she put extra long posts in, to allow room for swelling, and that I'll need to come back in 30 days to have the posts adjusted down to size. Which I later learn they charge another $50 to do! (I was not advised of that when she told me that she did that and that I'd have to come back, I didn't find out they were charging extra for that until I saw it on their website when I booked the return appointment.) And they don't schedule weekend appointments for that. So all told I spent around $400 for two ear piercings with tiny little earrings and I had to spend the time to go in there twice and none of this was shared upfront. If they had at least gone over pricing and set the correct expectations I could have made a more educated decision whether to continue or not. So in the end, it's a good place to get piercings done, safely - for sure. Staff is friendly and competent and they do good work with good follow up. Just know you're likely to spend more time, and money, than you may have expected and you need to ask a lot of questions about that because they won't just tell you what to expect. read more

The team there is great! The nurses are so kind, personable, and knowledgable. Felt so comfortable the whole time... as if it was a friend doing my piercing. Got a double helix piercing on the same ear with the device and the nurse was so accommodating with what I wanted and how I felt! Will definitely be going back and the service was awesome and at a good price point. So excited this place is in A2 now! read more

Walked in and was able to be helped for an earring change on my ear in a spot I can't do myself. Wait time I was given was accurate, especially given I was a walk-in. The earring itself was quite pricey at $59, but I was assured it will hold up (I will update this review if it doesn't!) and the woman who helped me change it out was very nice, gentle and seemed to really know what she was doing. I think the cost of changing a piercing is reasonable at $15. Overall this place seems like a nice addition to the village of Larchmont. 4 starts instead of 5 because of the earring pricing. read more
