When the venue threw us a few curveballs in terms of setup and AV the night before our wedding, Kimberly took it all upon herself to handle everything and told me not to worry - and she was right. Everything turned out great. I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of my wedding. I had all kinds of decor that she arranged beautifully and various vendors that she finalized communication with and coordinated throughout the day. We were hesitant to hire a coordinator but looking back it was the best decision we made. We hired Wilmarose for the month prior to our wedding. My only regret it not finding her earlier and hiring her day one of wedding planning. She is truly phenomenal. I showed her all my random pintrest pictures and she made it all work together in a fabulous cohesive theme. I love her style and found it very easy to trust her. I had no qualms about sending her to the florist for the final mockup when I had to work. We had just moved into a new home and our wedding budget for coordinators was tight however she graciously accepted what we had to offer. She even helped save us lots of money by negotiating with our venue over a miscommunication about the food and convincing us to do a consumption bar over open bar. She responds to emails/texts at lightening speed. I don't think this woman sleeps. The weekend of the wedding was stress-free thanks to Wilmarose and her team. They were so attentive I felt like royalty. She is extremely detail oriented and reviewed the multiple vendor contracts and several days prior to the wedding went back through the 50+ emails I sent her to make sure she didn't miss anything! I was a terrible bride, really...not because I was a bridezilla, but because I really didn't know what I wanted as far as decor, theme, colors, etc. Add that to the fact that I'm utterly impatient...well, Wenda should be sainted. When our day finally came, the ceremony went off without a hitch!! It was beautiful and perfect and about as stress-less as it could be! As my new husband and I were driving to the reception, however, we got a call from Wenda. We knew something had to be up. She very calmly informed us that the outdoor reception area was not set up the way we had discussed with the venue. The ENTIRE reason we selected the venue was for an outdoor chandelier that was going to be over our dance floor. We had JUST had our appointment with the event coordinator at Hotel Maya, and she had confirmed the layout for our space. When Wenda asked her to rearrange the area, the HM coordinator told her that it would take too long and that the bride would "be fine with it" how it was. (This reminds me to go write my review for Hotel Maya...) Needless to say, Wenda knew I would NOT be fine with it at all, and only called us when she saw she had no choice. When Wenda called, my husband took the call (so that I wouldn't rip my lovely dress to shreds in anger) and within minutes, it was resolved. Wenda had put the HM coordinator on the phone to confirm that they needed to rearrange. Our reception layout was JUST as we wanted it, after a short delay that actually proved to be quite relaxing for me and my husband! I truly believe that anyone other than Wenda would have given up, but she made SURE that we got ExAcTLy what we wanted for our wedding day!!!
