I requested one with a bathtub and the person over the phone said they would note it in the reservation. I forgot to ask when I checked in and was a bit disappointed when I got to my room that there was no bathtub. If half of the room types had bathtub, I would think it would have been an easy accommodation request. The hotel is located within a 10 minute walk to Universal Studios/City Walk so that was very convenient. They also have a shuttle that comes every 30 minutes or so but the walk is so easy to do that I would recommend that. The hotel lobby and conference rooms were very nice, including the small break out rooms used for the conference. I didn't like that you have to be a Hilton member to get free Wifi but the conference came with its own wifi password so it didn't affect me. The King Corner Room was very spacious and had a separate sitting area. The room seemed a bit dated. The sofa looked very worn, like something you would see at a college dorm, so I avoided it. It did have very large windows with a beautiful view. No robes/slippers included in the room. Although I stayed for 3 nights, housekeeping only came one morning. They have a Starbucks in the lobby that is open until 11am daily. Staff was very friendly. It was a big conference (about 200 people I think) and staff did an excellent job with catered breakfast and lunch serving that many people at once. Not a luxury hotel by any standard, but for a work conference hotel, it was good. And the 10 minute walk to Universal Studies/City Walk is very convenient if your purpose is to visit those places since you won't have to pay for Uber/Lyft/parking for those places.

I paid for overnight valet parking, but when we returned around midnight after the concert, I was told the valet parking area was flooded and that the hotel had overbooked its parking. The valet attendant told me I would have to park a block away and explained that it was out of his hands. He assured me that the manager would issue me a refund since I was unable to use the parking I had paid for. I agreed, trusting that the hotel would make things right. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The next morning, I contacted the manager, Ted, and his attitude was absolutely disgusting. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he laughed at me and refused to issue a refund. I had paid a $100 deposit and received only $45 back, despite not parking my car overnight as agreed. How does that make any sense? I called back twice to try to resolve the issue, and I even recorded the calls because of how unprofessional the situation became. The calls ended with him hanging up on me, and after that, they recognized my number and refused to answer. What makes this situation even worse is that I am handicapped. Being told at midnight that I had to drive and park a block away because the hotel had overbooked its parking was incredibly inconvenient and unacceptable. The hotel failed to provide the parking I paid for, yet I was still left fighting to get my money back. This was handled terribly from beginning to end. The valet situation was not my fault, the overbooking was not my fault, and I should not have had to chase management for a fair refund. A manager should be resolving customer complaints, not laughing at guests, hanging up on them, and refusing to take responsibility. Absolutely unprofessional customer service. The check-in staff may have been great, but the valet and management experience left a terrible impression. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially anyone who expects accessible accommodations, accountability, or basic respect. Save yourself the headache and spend your money somewhere else. A hotel that takes your money but refuses to take responsibility when things go wrong does not deserve your business.

Rooms had plenty of storage space and charing ports, and wifi is free and fast. They also have an agenda of daily activities like group exercise classes, LA hot dog/taco nights, and classic movies next to the pool. Their main restaurant, Front Yard offers a daily breakfast buffet and ala carte brunch, lunch, and dinner. The only reason for the -1 stars is that their AC is an older, in-wall unit that gets loud when turned on. Outdoor Parking also isn't cheap at $50/night with in/out privileges but that may be typical for the area.

This was disappointing to my mom, who went beyond her means to stay on site for the wedding. This was completely disappointing as we were traveling for a wedding that took place on site. 2 of us were luckily able to stay in the luxury suite which was reserved for the groom get ready room (2 nights). If those stars hadn't aligned, we would not have been able to sleep comfortably in our 1 king room. Also, the suite does not have a microwave in it, we had to request one to be brought up, which I found unconventional. My cousin had their wedding here for how much money my aunt spent between the suite, a bride get ready room, and just the general costs of a wedding, it was disappointing to hear she had a difficult experience here as well. She mentioned that they pulled her away from her son's wedding reception to place her credit card down for incidentals. Why hadn't that happened beforehand? They had her card on file already between all the rooms she booked, so the fact that they took her away from this once in a lifetime experience is ridiculous. She also mentioned that they asked not only for her card info but for her ID. She told them she was not going out of her way to find that when she didn't have it on hand and they were in the middle of celebrating. Needless to say, it was an unfortunate experience this time around. I've been here before and didn't experience the lack of professionalism we experienced this time. The valet service and the staff that supports with luggage were very helpful and kind. It saddens me to have to write such a poor review for such a beautiful place. Anyways, the reason I chose this hotel was because previously when we had stayed at universal we went to the Hilton, but that was too expensive at the moment. we went with my brother and his family and the hotel that he stayed at was also a little bit out of our budget so the boulevard is what we chose because it was cheaper and closest to Universal Studios. upon check-in we had to pay for the parking and the hotel fees, which was about $200. The staff was friendly and nice, but just know that if you double park, you have to leave your keys at the front desk so that your car can be moved. If the car in front of you needs to leave, so try to find a spot that's not double parked. There is also a dog park next to the parking garage with a door to get into the dog park from the parking garage so you will see people walking by with dogs or even parking in the garage to go to the dog park. Upon check-in, the room was clean as well as the furniture. The fabric headboard that is nailed to the wall was really dusty. That was the only thing that wasn't clean. The sink and counter in the bathroom has a lot of space. The shower is a little confusing because it has your regular showerhead, but also has a rain showerhead so even though you're using the regular showerhead, water will come from the rain showerhead above which I kinda had to dodge and duck as I was moving through the shower doing my business. The shower curtain in our room was not long enough to touch the floor of the shower therefore, a lot of water comes out of the shower floor onto the tile floor. usually when we stay in hotel rooms we always put a towel on the floor to act as a bathroom mat just so that we don't slip and fall. We did that this time, but there was a lot of water that comes out because the shower curtains are not long enough, so just be aware if you're using this hotel. on the second morning our toilet didn't flush and when we went out that morning, we let the front desk know and they fixed it by the time we came back. I noticed that I didn't hold the toilet handle long enough so I don't know if that was my mistake, but you have to push it and hold it until you hear the water so that you know it's flushing. Instead of just pushing it and assuming it's flushing. either way after it getting fixed and knowing how to pull the handle, we had no more issues. the microwave and the refrigerator was clean. Some of the furniture was chipped. We also noticed that there was smudges and maybe something melted or heated near the TV so there was a little indent on the TV. Also, a lot of the outlets were really loose and it was hard to find a plug to plug in my phone charger. I will attach pictures other than those issues. The room was clean. I did read other reviews of people saying that their rooms were dirty. I didn't experience that but a lot of the hotels in that area are older so it is to be expected, not an excuse though for rooms not to be cleaned. about the area outside and the neighborhood it was ok. Yes there are a few homeless walking around. That's the city , has nothing to do with homeless. But you're going to notice that at any major city so for people to complain about that is pretty ridiculous. The staff was super friendly. You get comped two free drinks at the bar, and the bartender matt is amazing and very personable so you will have fun at the bar. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. I know someone posted that there wasn't but if you look on the maps, they're absolutely is a few restaurants nearby. since there's no breakfast provided at this hotel there is a donut shop at the shopping center a few feet away. my husband went and got me some donuts and breakfast sandwiches and they were really good. if we go to universal again depending on our budget we would most likely stay at this hotel again. They are remodeling an upgrade so be patient with them. We did see them tossing out old furniture and old mattresses. There's also a barber in house. I don't know which floor it is. We did not visit the pool. If you're looking for Chinese, which we were, there is a restaurant named Fortune dragon I did a review for them. It's on Whitsett , about 10 minutes to get there the food was really delicious. We are from the Bay Area and our house so our Chinese restaurants are really good and this one was also really great.

Several basic amenities did not work properly: * No hot water for the majority of our stay On Jan 3, after spending the entire rainy day at the amusement park, I returned to the hotel freezing and in need of a hot shower, only to stand in the shower for over 40 minutes waiting for hot water that never came--the water was barely lukewarm * Air conditioning did not work * Shower handle and window knob were loose We contacted the front desk multiple times starting around 10 PM on Jan 3. Staff acknowledged that multiple rooms were experiencing the same hot water issue, yet guests were not notified. We were told room changes were not possible and that refunds were not allowed, even though we considered leaving to stay elsewhere due to the lack of hot water. A maintenance worker came briefly and said he would return but never did. The next morning, after continued follow-up, housekeeping tried to help by preparing another room so we could attempt to shower, but the water was still only lukewarm. Housekeeping staff were kind and did their best, and they deserve credit for their effort. Overall, the lack of hot water, cleanliness concerns, poor communication, and inability to resolve or properly accommodate a known issue made this stay unacceptable. The bites were severe enough that she had to seek medical treatment, was prescribed antibiotics and prescription anti-itch medication, and we incurred additional medical expenses because of this stay. We immediately reported the issue and were moved to another room. However, by that point our confidence was gone. We inspected and partially dismantled the beds in the new room ourselves before unpacking because we no longer trusted the hotel's inspection process. Fortunately, we found no evidence of bed bugs there. What was even more disappointing was the hotel's response. Despite the medical treatment, the disruption to our trip, and the significant stress this caused, management offered only a 50% refund for our three-night stay. The manager, Andrew, refused to provide his last name or any direct contact information and referred us to Best Western's national customer service department. After several days of waiting, corporate informed us that only the local general manager--the same person who had already declined to resolve the matter to --had the authority to make any decision. We were effectively sent in a circle with no meaningful resolution. Beyond the financial loss, this experience caused days of unnecessary stress, uncertainty, and frustration. A hotel can have an unexpected problem, but how it responds defines its commitment to guests. In our experience, there was a lack of accountability, poor communication, and little concern for the health and well-being of its customers. We cannot recommend staying here based on both the bed bug incident and the way it was handled afterward.

So just a heads up. The private room has no outlets and to through in the area it is very sketchy. Instead of it being called "The nite Inn". It should be "The Hood Inn" I've stayed at quite a bit of motels and Inns and this has taking my review to almost the bottom. This Inn seems like it falls under the area for welfare rooms or rooms to rent by the hour. Over all don't stay here unless you absolutely have to. The people here have no consideration for your happiness. Like I said before we reserved the room #103 for 4 nights and we checked out after the first night. The Inn will try and charge us for two nights when we won't stay two nights but we will deal with that when the time comes As you can see in the pictures it looks pretty ghetto.
