I was in pain when I walked in but very relaxed when I walked out. She continuously asked how I was doing and how each method she used was feeling. Let's face it, it's a weird thing to meet someone for 2 minutes, then enter a room, strip down, and lay on a table. Well, at least it is for me (to each his or her own). But, Heather made the experience super comfortable. She has a nice energy and I felt at ease. That's all well and good, but her hands, though? Her hands are...magic. She asked for my pressure preference, checked on my comfort, and had at it with my knots. I was locked up pretty good in my shoulders and hamstrings thanks to a new workout routine. When I left, my muscles were loose and my tension was gone. The outside looks like what it is - an old brick professional building. I thought it was pretty cool, actually. Then, I was impressed with how inside the spa was decorated. It was gorgeous! I loved the colors and details in the massage room. I completely forgot I was essentially in a small office building. So, if you are in the general area and need a great massage, check this place out. The rates are reasonable even without a Groupon. I'm looking forward to booking my next appointment.

I love going to a salon where you can chit-chat with the woman doing your nails and this was totally the place for that! Fusion Salon had great ambiance and was well maintained despite the fact they were in the process of replacing the floors. I'll definitely go again and would recommend it to any of my local friends. Also, the prices are fair by salon standards. It's not the cheap mall nail salon prices but it's also not the cheap mall nail salon experience :)
