I had a little trouble finding it, because it's inside an office for "Aligned Chiropractic and Hypnosis," and there is no sign for Worcester County Massage outside. The building which houses this spa is pretty simple, however the decor of the spa itself is very warm and relaxing. The owner, Kathy, was wonderful and very good at what she does. I was in pain when I walked in but very relaxed when I walked out. She continuously asked how I was doing and how each method she used was feeling. She has plenty of experience and a great deal of compassion for her clients. If you are looking for a spa that cares, please call Kathy at Renew Age Spa in Oxford and tell her Kevin and Mary Ann strongly recommended her. You won't regret it!!!

I have gotten some decent massages in NE CT, but wanted to try to find a great one. Well, thanks to Heather at Renew, I did! Let's face it, it's a weird thing to meet someone for 2 minutes, then enter a room, strip down, and lay on a table. Well, at least it is for me (to each his or her own). But, Heather made the experience super comfortable. She has a nice energy and I felt at ease. That's all well and good, but her hands, though? Her hands are...magic. She asked for my pressure preference, checked on my comfort, and had at it with my knots. I was locked up pretty good in my shoulders and hamstrings thanks to a new workout routine. When I left, my muscles were loose and my tension was gone. The outside looks like what it is - an old brick professional building. I thought it was pretty cool, actually. Then, I was impressed with how inside the spa was decorated. It was gorgeous! I loved the colors and details in the massage room. I completely forgot I was essentially in a small office building. So, if you are in the general area and need a great massage, check this place out. The rates are reasonable even without a Groupon. I'm looking forward to booking my next appointment.
