I was so sad when I moved to the west coast because I knew I'd only be able to see her 1x a year (when I came home for family visits). I tried many places in San Francisco and no other place or esthetician compares to Lorie. She is thorough, honest about what my skin needs, and (best of all) the results are incredible!! I moved back to the east coast during the pandemic and am so excited to book my next facial with her!! Devon- What a gem! She consulted me when I wanted to explore Botox and other treatments and I couldn't have picked a better person to do these treatments. She wants you to feel comfortable and is extremely trustworthy in her recommendations!!! The results are absolutely incredible and make me feel like I haven't aged a day. I appreciate her opinions always - her calmness also helps make the treatments feel smooth and comfortable. I can't recommend her enough!!

I…read morehonestly don't even think I could tell you if it was average or below average because the overall experience was awful. The massage started 15 minutes late. The headrest of the massage table was broken so I couldn't relax my head completely down or it would slip out and fall. The noise outside the massage room was so loud the entire time because it is right off the mani/pedi area and waiting room chairs. Someone came into the room in the middle of the massage looking for towels. The door of the massage room opened right on the room full of people so I felt exposed on the table every time the door opened. I was basically in my head the entire time crafting this yelp review and wishing I was the kind of person who would get up and just leave. What a waste of $160 and 90 minutes of my time. I'm actually probably more tense after the massage than before I went in. I'm sitting in my car writing this, trying to get it all out, so I can go home and tell my husband (who treated me to it) that it was great. I have to shake this feeling off and lie so I don't make him feel bad.

She has plenty of experience and a great deal of compassion for her clients. I have gotten some decent massages in NE CT, but wanted to try to find a great one. Well, thanks to Heather at Renew, I did! Let's face it, it's a weird thing to meet someone for 2 minutes, then enter a room, strip down, and lay on a table. Well, at least it is for me (to each his or her own). But, Heather made the experience super comfortable. She has a nice energy and I felt at ease. That's all well and good, but her hands, though? Her hands are...magic. She asked for my pressure preference, checked on my comfort, and had at it with my knots. I was locked up pretty good in my shoulders and hamstrings thanks to a new workout routine. When I left, my muscles were loose and my tension was gone. The outside looks like what it is - an old brick professional building. I thought it was pretty cool, actually. Then, I was impressed with how inside the spa was decorated. It was gorgeous! I loved the colors and details in the massage room. I completely forgot I was essentially in a small office building. So, if you are in the general area and need a great massage, check this place out. The rates are reasonable even without a Groupon. I'm looking forward to booking my next appointment.
