That's a pretty basic item to not carry. I had a hard time finding a sparkling wine that I wanted, but I did get one. It was pretty clear that the cashier did not want to be there, and he told the person in front of me he was out of certain bags already, and it was still the afternoon on what I assume is one of the busiest days of the year. I got a paper bag for my bottle of sparkling wine that looked like a brown bag you'd take your lunch to work in. There are other liquor stores near here with a much better selection. I won't be going here again.

This can be attributed to the buying power of Wegmans and having a good relationship with the chateaus there. Also because Century was previously owned by Sherwood Deutsch, a pharmacist turned wine merchant who also had established close relationship with Bordeaux winemakers since the mid-1960s. Sherwood eventually sold his wine business to the Wegman family in 2007. If you go all the way to the back of the store, there is "The Sherwood Room" which houses a lot of their higher end wine. It's quite impressive to see as a self-proclaimed wine nerd. Anyways the selection is great and their prices are often better than what you can find online. They also have knowledgeable staff. John McMahon in particular knows his stuff regarding wine, so ask for him if you're in the store with questions regarding wine.

After driving 30 minutes, knowing exactly what I wanted and where it was located, I found the doors locked. While I understand that the register may close at 8 PM, many liquor stores typically allow customers to enter a few minutes prior to closing if they know what they need. With several stores now adjusting their hours to close at 8 PM instead of 9 PM, I am trying to adapt to this change. I kindly suggest updating your hours sign to indicate that you close at 7:55 PM to prevent any future misunderstandings. I spoke with another liquor store in Walworth, and they confirmed that their signage accurately reflects their closing time."

Prices are very competitive and the selection is much greater than some of the other nearby liquor stores. They had a wide range of each varietal with prices ranging from the lowest (5.99) to fairly high quality stuff. The beauty is in the one stop shop nature. The market has a lot of goodies that you can grab as you fill up, and the easy in and out on a busy intersection makes this next level convenience. The store has a cooler with cold prosecco and white options if you're looking to grab something en route to a party or gathering. I will absolutely be back!

The wine and liquor store is attached, but in a separate building. Definitely worth a trip in there, you can always find a few specials and great marked down items.
