Tom, the owner/operator, was very helpful in making a same-day reservation, even giving us tips about when to come eat based on how many other customers he had reservations for at certain times; which was great cuz then we didn't have to wait that long to order and get our food. Now onto the food: the XXL Ribeye with herbed butter is, hands down, the BEST steak I've had the pleasure to pay money for here in Germany. And, as my wife can attest, I'm picky with beef. Hell, I'm not even much of a fan of the cut of the ribeye (too fatty at times), but this piece of meat was ON POINT. Every bite was a succulent as the first. Perfect grizzle, perfectly medium done. Bravo, sir! The roasted gourmet potatoes were even more amazing still! My wife had a bearnaise-sauced schnitzel that was juicy, delicious and just the right size with an extraordinarily-portion of seasoned french fries. We both enjoyed started salads that were yummy, as well. All around, GREAT German cuisine and I recommend this place to anyone that is a fan or schnitzel and steak. My only wishes is that they took card payment and maybe set a few rolls of dinner-type bread on the table with the starter salads to help ride us over to the main course, which is typical in most German restaurants.
