These burgers were so delicious! Juicy and your basic ingredients...the meat was very well cooked and not dry. The vegetables were fresh and totally completed the taste of the burger. The only downfall is that they only take cash. They do have an ATM onsite but then you have an ATM fee. read more

The price at 4.25 is good. The efficiency at getting the food you I appreciated: I like well-oiled machines. The trains make the decor quite pleasant and the grassy area at the back created an enjoyable tourist experience. As mentioned by others, the washrooms were a nice surprise, Now for the bad news: the burgers are bland which is really the last thing I expected. This should be what you do. If you taste the patty by itself, it is close to flavourless -- not even salted, with uninspiring texture. I haven't had McDonalds a lot but this is what I remember their patties tasting like. Almost every burger place has more flavour, such as Harvey's. Now they may inject artificial flavour into it and be less "natural" but it would still be an overall gastronomic experience than this. read more

Yes it's charcoal, yes the location is great, yes the vibe is great. But the burgers are not that awesome. It's on the drier side. Would I eat here again? Sure I will give it a try again. read more

Very good burgers, excellent fries. Great indoor and outdoor seating choices. Beware the line, it can get long, especially at the weekends. Cash only, though there is an ATM available. A great option for a roadside stop. read more

Really clean and nice bathroom, huge picnic area, if you need to take a leak and rest on the way to the cottage, this is a good rest stop, but the food is nothing to write home about, it doesn't worth the long line up for, the burger reminds me of burger day in public school. read more

Really nothing special. Bland burger, can't taste any of the ingredients, and surprisingly came to almost $20 just for two of us. (2 cheese burgers, fries and a milkshake). Cash only. Very upsetting. Wont be going here ever again. read more

All about the nostalgia of the place and that's starting to wear thin. Not as good as it used to be; found the burger quite dry. They changed the bun and that's not a good thing. On the plus side, burgers still have their signature charcoal grill taste. Nice grounds for a picnic, pair it up with the always great Kawartha Dairy ice cream. read more

Don't see what all the fuss is about. It's home of the raw burger and they don't take debit.

Cottage Pit Stop off the Hwy for Burgers, Hot Dogs, Ice-Cream ... etc. The food and price is good ... (although it baffles me to see people waiting an hour in line-ups ... LOL ... C.R.A.Z.Y!) Lots of Parking, Really Cute Outdoor Picnic Area with Old Dining Cars ... Staff are all young Kids which do a good job in keeping the Line moving as best they can and are Upbeat. All in All: If there is no line-up I'll stop for the burgers and outdoor setting. read more

Cottage tradition - better than standard burgers. Great milkshakes. Better burger options around but if you like the flame broiled thin patty burger - you'll like this. read more

I have been coming to Webers since I was a kid, and I have yet to be let down by the food, or the service. If you are driving up to cottage country and want a quick, tasty burger this is your best bet. Sure, there are better burgers out there, but I can't think of any that are prepared as quickly or consistently as Webers burgers. read more

The best burger in Ontario, period. Beautifully cooked burgers on fresh Kaiser buns, and the fries are amazing too. I can't wait to come back! read more

Way slow. They dont have enough foresight to anticipate load on busy weekend so we wait an inordinate amount of time for a burger. Could have opened up second side to help. read more

So disappointed. It has been some 15 years since I've tasted a Weber's burger and what I got this summer is not the burger of the past. Although still affordably priced, you certainly get what you pay for...no meat and minimal condiments. My daughter and I love poutine. Please do not buy the poutine. The cheese curds squeak. My best guess is that they are half plastic. If you are into recycling, there are recycling bins. The drawback is that there are black bags in the bins. AND, I watched an employee dump it into the same place as the garbage. I believe some might call this false advertising. The positives: 1. Super quick service. (A ton of staff...also a ton of staff standing around because only one person actually on the grill.) 2. The landscape on the west side of #11 is beautiful as a picnic area. My suggestion - pack your own food OR visit the Subway, New York Fries, or Tim Horton's just down from Weber's for a more satisfying meal. read more

Negative Nelly's Keep Away!! Critics have no need to frequent this place. This is a family style burger joint and is not the type of place that needs a Michelin star review. I'm not sure why some of the reviewers need to leave a serious-toned post, it is completely unnecessary. These must be the same people that freak out when they see algae or a fish or a tree branch in the lake. Now For the Positive's! Weber's is awesome!! It is a pit stop for you as you make your way up to cottage country. You know .... fun times, friends, laughter, jumping in the lake..... Well, add Weber's to that list, too. Weber's is the BEST little burger joint from Canada's Wonderland right up to Nunavut. Awesome burgers? You bet!! Nostalgic? You bet!! If you've been around since the 70's and 80's then you know that this place is a must-stop as you make your way to and fro. Now you can make it a place your children will always remember too. I highly recommend stopping over at Weber's no matter where your travels lead you. The bridge over the highway makes it easy for those travelling south bound to pit stop as well. Bring the family, your children are going to love it. The menu is simple yet sweet. The staff are eager and always helpful. They have picnic tables and green space to enjoy your burgers and the atmosphere is relaxed. I'm going up to the Muskoka's again in two days and have already planned our family lunch stop here. I would not have it any other way. Weber's is a blessing. Hope you enjoy it as much as i always do. :) :) Love, A caring father. read more

Webers is the standard stop off place to go when when you have a craving for some fast food and time to kill before going to the cottage. Okay burgers and the veggie burger is okay for such a high turn over place. Staff are upbeat and fun but except there are clear signs of 4/20 abuse. read more

Not bad but really should get mayonnaise. Preferably Hellman's but like I'd even settle for miracle whip.

new frozen hamburgers in grocery stores taste like sandpaper

I don't know why this place doesn't have 5 stars - I had one of the best burgers ever here. Conveniently located on the side of the highway up to cottage country, there's even an overpass bridge for cars on the opposite side. While the line up is long, they are incredibly efficient - they take your order and you pay while standing in line so by the time you get to the front you can get your food immediately. There are picnic benches in a grassy area for roadside eating. read more

2 stars, near the bridge... on the way to cottage country JP and CH and WN. Nice place... student labour, simple burger, fries and ketchup with family... very good. Don't cross the highway if the bridge is closed.. a hamburger isn't worth your life... nothing is... Andrew (c) Copyright 2017. Andrew M. Walduck. Associated Press. All Rights Reserved. read more

Awesome burger and very efficient ordering process. Very special decoration using train car.

Pulled in here for the first time in decades, after fond childhood memories of the obligatory stop on the way to Cottage Country, and was horribly disappointed. Just an ok burger, fries salty enough to mandate that defibrillators be on hand, and a hefty bill. Maybe back then there wasn't much else and this was actually a tasty treat? But over the course of subsequent visits, we've learned to appreciate the experience. The burgers are unique, even if not the world's best, and the picnic seating out back is lovely (apart from the Starbucks blighting the view). There's also a nice open field on the other side of the highway (where there is parking for southbound traffic) to let the dog run around and explore. read more

DO NOT BE SCAMMED! The burger was raw in the middle, the fries are shoestring crap, the milkshake is nice creamy chemicals , all for 12 bucks, what the !! I pass by here often as a local and had to see what the fascination was. All those cars and people lined up like sheep. Big mistake. Enjoy the round up ready food. I give no stars really. read more

Best burgers on the Trans Canada. They know how to do it, keep it simple. Nothing fancy just killer burgers and fries. Burgers are always perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The toppings are fresh and crisp. The line is always out the door into the parking lot and it moves fast. The attention to detail is amazing all the way down to the box your foods placed in. If you've never stopped at Webers your missing out. My go to burger stop on my travels. read more

Cool place to stop along the highway up to cottage country. The experience is really neat with the train car to sit on while you eat your hamburger. There aren't many good spots to stop along the highway- this is a good option. The lines can be very long but they move quickly. The hamburgers are pretty small so you may want to order a double patty. They also have a great ice cream store that serves Kawartha Dairy! They have lots of picnic benches and grassy areas to sit down. read more

Burgers smells better & taste better. I can eat burgers here from breakfast to dinner, everyday.

burgers are great. poutine isn't my favourite. but some workers don't have hair nets on. i went to the starbucks and it was slow. although this is such a cute place! read more

I think that this place is more of a memory maker for the cottage crowd. It's very popular, and there is always a line up. The workers are really good at getting people through the line fast. They also have plenty of places for people to sit and eat. There is also ample parking. The bridge is a great landmark, and it's great that nobody has to run across 4 lanes of the highway to get there if you are going south. While the burgers and fries are good, that's just it. They are good. I really think a hamburger at Wendys is just as tasty. I don't think standing in line for that long is worth is. It's a nice stop on the way to the cottage though, and I can see why people like the tradition. read more

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!! I'd heard about these "famous" burgers for many years and finally tried one last weekend. Friendly staff and good service but the burger was absolutely tasteless. I made a real effort to get there after passing it on the hwy so it was even more of a letdown after eating it. Too much bun compared to the meat - which looked and tasted like it came from a factory in Asia. Not even sure if there was any real beef at all. Don't understand what all the hype is about. I will not be stopping there again and neither will any of my friends. read more

As a family we always stopped at Webers on the way up to the cottage. It was and still is the my favorite place to stop for a hamberger. I have been going to webers for over 36 years and I love it. The line up moves fast, people are friendly and the food rocks! Try the double burger with cheese, fries with a chocolate shake ( my standard order). For those of you who don't get why webers is so appealing, we don't want you to stop there! read more

A fun place. We stopped in during March break when it was relatively quiet, so in and out very quickly. The double cheeseburger was mouth-watering, and also dripped grease everywhere as I struggled to reach the table several feet away sitting in the "dining car". Fries were drowning in salt, and quite disappointing. An iconic site, and mandatory stop if you're on the way to or from cottage country. read more

I have been going to Webers ever since I was a kid and to be honest the nostalgia more than anything keeps bringing me back. It is located right on the highway up to cottage country and has a cool over-highway bridge so you can stop by on the way up north and back home after a weekend. They also have cools trains which have been renovated which you can sit and eat in or picnic benches for those who enjoy the outdoors. The line is often long, and the order taking could be better but is better when they open the second line. The burgers are solid, a little small if you are hungry but you can add a second patty if you need. I like the fries even if they are a bit salty if you are eating lots of them. Lastly the milkshakes are pretty great (at-least the last time I had one). I will continue stopping here whenever I pass by and encourage everyone to try it at-least once even just so you can eat in the train. read more

Before all the Webers' lovers attack me.. my reasoning for giving only a three star is because I tried their vegetarian burger, which I am pretty sure was a Costco burger heated up on the grill. However my husband loved his burger and says it was everything he had hoped for. It looked like a pretty standard burger to me.. but even though we are connected on many levels are taste buds are not. I will say this though, you must try it out if you are going up North because there was a huge line up and the line moves pretty fast. Their staff seemed like high school students working which I think is great because it teaches them good lessons. They have colored picnic benches outside which makes it very enjoyable to eat your burger and fries on the lush grass before you are cramped in the car to beat Toronto traffic. What I also appreciated about the place what the bridge that they installed to help customers from other side of the highway cross over and grab a burger. The bridge apparently has a historical significance as well since it was a part of the old Union station Skywalk. Even though I did not like their veggie burger, I would say for all beef lovers it seems to be a must try. read more

Not sure what all the hype is about with this place! The food is below average in my opinion and pricy considering its location . Long line ups most of the time and cash only! Funny how small town people get excited over this place ! Maybe they should head down to Toronto and try good burgers lol. read more

Meh. It's an institution so we had to stop. Fries tasted rotten, or very old ketchup. Definitely not the best burger I've had in my life. Only two stars due to rude service. Fries were not full (compared to order beside ours) and when I asked them to top up was told no. Really? read more

Great place to stop with the family on the way up or back from cottage country. Friendly and fast service. A tradition.

Really good burgers in a cool setting in cottage country.
