It was a cold day when but still there was a line up and I was waiting in the cold at -8°C for like 15 mins till I can get my poutine on my hand. I ordered Hang Over Poutine, which has a load of bacon, peameal and fry egg. You can see that the owner is very diligent in making each order to perfection. The bacon and egg are not just random bits and pieces, they are both carefully cut into rectangular shape big enough so you can get all the ingredients onto a fork easily. The gravy taste is mild, so it goes well with bacon, and cheese curds. What's unique about the poutine is that the fries is still crispy after soaked in the gravy for a while, and some of the fries stay crispy till I almost finished. The downside: it is not cheap..... A small poutine cost $11.99 ..... Definitely more expensive than other specialty poutine restaurants in Toronto. At this price point, I would expect they put some gold flakes on top of the poutine......

I love The Spudster! Let me start by saying there are 20 different types of poutine & 22 types of burger dressings. If you're feeling picky or intricate, they will meet your needs. I've visited twice after a lonnnngggg weekend with the girls. I usually opt for the classic poutine because I'm mostly too hung over to function. But let's be real, they have everything. You know when you wake up and could eat a mammoth, or when you wake up and could eat hardly anything? Well, the latter isn't this chip truck. They've got fish & chips, gourmet burgers, gourmet poutines, different little appys, cold drinks, etc. The price is decent for the size. A small classic poutine runs for about $7 (see my photo for reference of size). It's got plenty of squeaky cheese curds, hot gravy and crispy fries. I was aching after because I forced myself to devour the entire contents of the box. Next time I'll try their hangover poutine which apparently helps you forget the night before. This one is loaded with smoked bacon, grilled peameal, an egg, cheese curds and gravy. If you're passing by, take a pit stop and order some grub. They take debit!

The girl working was super nice and suggested she can make a pogo in a bun. I declined went to subway (same place) the customer service was atrocious at the subway but that's besides the point. Came back asked for the pogo in a bun and let me tell you it was actually pretty good. I genuinely appreciate the effort and creativity. Generous amount of onions in the bun huge plus, it's like she knew me ))) . Customer service 10/10. I'll be back for the proper hot dog next time.. or two! :)

It's an excellent place to stop. It's so good I even saw employees from the adjacent Subway get their lunch there. The classics are solid. The cheese dog is worthy of the name, and the poutine will make Canada proud. They are very generous with the gravy, making this a tasty proposition. The signature dishes are the Rise to Fries dog and rose to fries poutine, both featuring their "secret sauce" and pickles. Both are great and preferred over the plain classics. The sauce has a nice herby flavor that works well with the sour taste of the pickles. It's really worth a try. Finally, the lady at the counter was warm, friendly, and energetic, like she actually wanted to work there, a rare phenomenon in this industry.

When I cut it open it was red in centre. The other burger was cooked through. I had brought it up and showed them. The gentleman that was apparently the guy who cooked it looked at it and says they are all cooked the same six mins each side. I would like to mention no customer service at all. I explained it's raw. I can't eat it like this. If you can please cook this more. I didn't ask for another burger. I was being nice about it. He grumbled at me took it out back and with in two mins was back the the same burger that looked completely man handled and proceeds to tell me I was wrong, he cooked it right and it is cooked properly what I am seeing is ketchup. I am not an idiot. It was raw. Obviously there was no point to try and ask again. We just couldn't believe the lack of service and the even more lack of pride in what they do. I wish I would have taken a picture. Clearly red and raw. We both agreed it was a clear sign of how they run their business and will be sure to tell all our friends. There are a lot of chip trucks that respect their customers and have pride in the food they make. Stay clear of this place.
