Dog-It Poutine. Really good!
Andrea A.

Delicious poutine!! I tried the dog-it poutine which was on special at the time. Excellent fries!! Just enough cheese curds and gravy on the fries. Also tried the fried cauliflower which was fried nicely as well. Worth going to for sure! Definitely going to come back here.

Really good! Was traveling and had to check this place out. Excellent for the kind of hot dog/poutine place it is.

Ordered Mexican Beef but it had no Mexican flavour! Ground beef in regular gravy topped with a little bit of orange cheese.

Came in quite late, they didn't have anymore hotdogs left, bummer. But clearly a plus in my eyes…read morewhich means they have fresh food. The girl working was super nice and suggested she can make a pogo in a bun. I declined went to subway (same place) the customer service was atrocious at the subway but that's besides the point. Came back asked for the pogo in a bun and let me tell you it was actually pretty good. I genuinely appreciate the effort and creativity. Generous amount of onions in the bun huge plus, it's like she knew me ))) . Customer service 10/10. I'll be back for the proper hot dog next time.. or two! :)

It's an excellent place to stop. It's so good I even saw employees from the adjacent Subway get their lunch there. The classics are solid. The cheese dog is worthy of the name, and the poutine will make Canada proud. They are very generous with the gravy, making this a tasty proposition. The signature dishes are the Rise to Fries dog and rose to fries poutine, both featuring their "secret sauce" and pickles. Both are great and preferred over the plain classics. The sauce has a nice herby flavor that works well with the sour taste of the pickles. It's really worth a try. Finally, the lady at the counter was warm, friendly, and energetic, like she actually wanted to work there, a rare phenomenon in this industry.

And when I went to Collingwood last month, I really wanted to try this place out. It was actually quite hard to find for us. We typed into our GPS and circled around the big roads but didn't realize that it was a food truck outside of a Hardware store. It was a weekend afternoon, at around lunch time and when we got there there were 2-3 people enjoying their desserts in the side bench tables. Since we just wanted a snack, we ordered 'The Works' for $10.75 - which is a funnel cake with strawberries and syrup and a big dollop of soft serve ice cream. For an extra buck, you get an extra helping of that soft serve ice cream. The meal was delicious as expected! The funnel cake was warm and soft, and complimented very well with the soft serve. I love that Kiki's also has other things on their menu. They have hamburger, hotdogs, poutine, French fries, etc.. basically anything that you can get at a carnival. I was really intrigued by the deep fried pickle, so maybe I'll try that next time....with some delicious soft serve, of course!

Tastes just like Canada's Wonderland! Yum! My friend and I got what's called 'The Works', I think?…read moreIt's the typical funnel cake, strawberries, ice cream and powdered sugar. They are very generous with the strawberries and ice cream. The only downside was some of the strawberries were still frozen. My teeth would get so sensitive biting into an ice cold strawberry. There was only one girl working at the time we went and it was super busy. She was still so friendly and positive even though there was order after order. Props to that girl! Would defs return when I feel like a super cheat day.

Mr Pretzels - Pretzel hot dog

Mr Pretzels

I am a huge pretzel fan. There are two major pretzel chains that I like: Auntie Anne's and Mr…read morePretzels. In Canada, Auntie Anne's hasn't done so well. Markham used to have one, but it was short-lived. However, Mr Pretzels seems to do well here. I was planning on getting popcorn at Kernels Popcorn, but the lineup was long. I looked a couple of stores down from it and saw Mr Pretzels. It has a shorter lineup and getting a pretzel dog seemed like a good snack. The soft pretzels looked good. I saw a woman with hers, so I decided to get a pretzel dog (my standard) and a salted soft pretzel. I had a helpful woman take my order. She talked to her co-workers and advised me that the pretzel dog would take five minutes to make. I was good with it. She asked whether I wanted a drink or dipping sauces. I declined. She also asked me whether I wanted my salted pretzel first or together with my pretzel dog. I gave her the option and she decided to hand over my salted pretzel first. It smelled so good. I'm glad that she did, as I got the chance to take a photo of it. You basically wait for your order on the left side of the counter. The right is where the orders are taken. It makes sense because the menu is over there. Communication is excellent here. The man making my pretzel dog advised that it would be a minute to hand it over. I appreciated that added touch. He also asked if I wanted any mustard or ketchup. I asked for ketchup and thanked him. I was salivating holding my carby items. I decided to sit where the fireplace was in the mall, but without the fire. It had labels to not sit there, but I ignored them because I was hungry and there weren't any places to sit down at this mall. I had the salted pretzel. So good! Chewy and soft. The salt was perfect with the melted, brushed butter that made the salt adhere to the pretzel. I then had the pretzel dog. It was yummy. I loved the pretzel dough wrapped neatly around a perfectly plump hot dog. I was so happy. Yum! Staff made sure that you get napkins with your pretzel items. Their attention to detail was refreshing. You can get combos here, which is really a drink added to your pretzel. There are also mini pretzel bites and pretzel dog bites that you can order. I had an excellent experience. The preztels were delicious. I appreciated the customer service and great communication skills. (402)

Fry Days Food Truck - Best fish and chips in Bradford!

For a little over a year now Fry Days has been run by new owners, and I'm happy to say that things…read morehave definitely taken a turn for the better. The last few years things had been hit and miss here, but after a few transitional pains (service was slow for a bit back in 2020 as the staff got used to how things worked), things are running smoothly, and it's now by far my favourite food truck. I've tried many of the things on the menu, but I'll review those I've had multiple times. Tied for my favourites are the fish and the poutine. Not exactly sure what they're frying in, but the fish batter is spectacular, and doesn't leave the greasy feeling on the roof of your mouth that some other places do. I usually go with the haddock, but the halibut is great too. As for the poutine: while the gravy is a little darker than traditional poutine gravy, it really tasty. What really makes it are the fries and the cheese curds. The fries are cut fresh, and are really tasty. And they sure don't skimp on the cheese curds. Unlike some other places, there's no need to wonder if you'll have enough curds and gravy to go around. The burger is homemade and tasty. Doesn't come with a toasted bun though, so be sure to ask if you like yours toasted. I also love the dill pickle chips. With so many chip trucks in York region, one needs to be pretty special to keep me coming back regularly. Whatever they're doing here is working though, and I find myself here a lot during the summer. Keep up the great work!
