I love poutine and I was recommended this place. I got the vegetarian poutine and was disappointed with the cheese out on the poutine. It did not have cheese curds. Other than that it was okay but as blue mountain is a very popular town for visitors, I think the cheese in the poutine should be authentic.

~3.5 stars~ I wanted some pouting and this was first time coming here at this shop, well they didn't appoint me. The cashier helpful with the menu. I went ahead and ordered their classic poutine for vegetarians... basically it was fries topped with vegetarian gravy and plenty of cheese! The poutine was decent and enjoyable.

Who doesn't love a poutine? I had to buy and try it out, the lady who worked there was very friendly and chirpy she was super helpful and patient while I decided what to order but who am I kidding nothing is better than the original: ) the poutine tasted delicious I would suggest to ask for EXTRA gravy if you want your cheese to melt and your fries not tasting dry but overall taste was great. Thank you Btw: There is no patio or seating area for this spot, you'll literally need to eat while your walking or take it back to your hotel, I wouldnt recommend to sit outdoor and eat because theres lots of segal's who will ruin your peace while you eat.

Double smoked bacon poutine

There's not much to say about poutine but I can assure you there's nothing better than warm bowl of poutine after (or in-between a ski/board session and mile high poutine hits the spot. It's quick, simple, and delicious! Especially if you have no intention of sitting down at a restaurant, mile high poutine is a great choice. We've tried many varieties here and all of them were good - the double smoked bacon, the chili poutine, and the pulled pork poutines. They have many more crazier varieties but the ones above are definitely all very tasty and work well. The fries were warm and crisp, and not overly salted. The gravy was good, and the cheese curds were excellent as well. They're not totally melted but that's negligible to me. I guess if you wanted to be picky, some of the toppings were on the colder side but chances are you're going to eat it in outside in the cold anyways, so what's the difference?

Beef poutine and nacho libre

We are visiting from Houston, Tx! The food is amazing! We had the nacho libre and bacon poutine! The customer service was great also!

Everything at Blue Mountain is a bit pricier than usual, so the same logic applies here. It's also good but not particularly good. I recommend you get some for the sake of getting poutine at Blue Mountain, especially if you have yet to try! I got the classic with a light drizzle of ketchup. You can't go wrong with that mix :).

Nacho, Buffalo Wing and the Classic
Aly Y.

We were here on Easter Sunday, at night, the village was fairly empty by then. We called ahead to confirm their closing time and were told 10pm. So we decided to buy our poutines, keep them in the fridge (total yuck-fest but we had to get "creative") .. and divulge once we return from drinking out at one of the village bars. We had the nacho, the classic and the Buffalo wing. For some of us, the fries were a little salty once cooled in the fridge but for others, they were salted to perfection (post-drinking taste buds) I ate half of my buffalo wing poutine cold, straight from the fridge, and the other half, I microwaved to compare, and it turned out as Tasty! not as nasty. Overall, a good amount of chicken, cheese, and just the right amount of hot sauce. The smaller portion size is of good value, any smaller and it would be too small for the price. Thanks for staying open late.

Amazing poutine they make in front of you. Great place for take out. Right in the middle of the little Blue Mountain village. A must try.

Large BBQ Chicken Poutine

Tell me what's a better thing to stuff your belly with after hitting the slopes than a large bowl of piping hot poutine? The smell wafted into my nose as I was walking through the village to go pick up my lift ticket and I knew I had to get some at the end of the night. It's a stand in the village and so no seating area, but there was quite a line up at the end of the night filled with hungry skiiers and snowboarders. Ordered the BBQ Chicken poutine and I definitely prefer this over Smoke's poutines (sorry!). It tasted a bit more fresh and the cheese curds were good and stringy. Devoured it all in less than 5 mins. Next time I'm here, definitely getting the one with pogo sticks in it. I think you have to acknowledge the fact that you're in a touristy area, so obviously it'll be a bit more expensive and not as good as what you can get outside, but for what options you have inside the village, this was pretty good!

Food put my intestines through war. The staff also didn't control unruly customers that were yelling profanities and kicking mud water.

I was overall impressed! We came once for dinner, then again for lunch. We tried many dishes but overall the beautiful salads & great cuts of meat for their steak mains stood out to us! BEE STING PIZZA (4/5) - hit the spot after a whole day's activities. It was a warm mid-thin wood-oven crust pizza with delicious cheese & salami. Wish I got more of the hot honey taste and I felt the dough was JUST cooked enough (almost underdone) SUPER SALAD (4.5/5) - beautifully plated and loved all the ingredients, definitely consider adding protein to make it more filling 8OZ NY STRIP LOIN (4.5/5) - they did a classic steak main dish right. Great cut of meat, cooked medium rare, awesome sides. EMPANADAS (3/5) - overall pretty dry but the creamy sauce that came with it gave it a bit more spunk JAPANESE TROUT CAESAR SALAD (4.5/5) - loved the large portion of fish & so many fun Asian-inspired flavours & salad toppings Lamb main dish with potato pavé & cauliflower with added Lobster tail (4/5, seasonal dish) - loved all the textures, steep price for this though Bread pudding with ice cream (3/5, seasonal dish)- I'm always a sucker for a warm dessert served with cold ice cream on top. This bread pudding was lacklustre in flavour and was overall dense...pairing it with the caramelly sauce & ice cream was its saving grace.

It's more on the acidic side which I'm not a fan of but I still enjoyed sipping on it. The service was fast and both ladies that worked at the espresso bar and at the counter were friendly. Overall, such a great spot if you're in town for a cute cafe that will help you wind down and relax.

We ordered a couple of appetizers and a whole bunch of pasta. Me personally, I ordered the carbonara and was very excited for it. However, once it came, it reflected more of Alfredo than a carbonara. Some would say to lower your expectations however, if I order something, I would expect it to come out that way. So the food for me did not hit at all. Magnone's is one of the better dining experiences available, in a nice fancy restaurant environment, but food and service can be hit or miss. The pastas are decent, average/average+ with good flavours and use of fresh ingredients and cheeses, but expensive for what you get. Carbonara was rich with a creamy sauce. The kids menu offers some basic classics (Alfredo, buttered parm pasta, or cheese pizza) at a decent price. Service can be spotty. One of our meals (of our party of 8) wasn't served with the others, with waitstaff saying "it would be another few minutes". Fifteen minutes later, it was clear that the order had been initially forgotten, when a barely-cooked, rush-order ravioli was delivered. It's still a popular place as it's hard to get a table here. Either reserve several days in advance, or walk-in very early or late.
