We also contracted to add solar-powered shades to those skylights, new soffit, fascia, gutters, gutter guards, and downspouts. One thing I really liked was the GTHS representative took care of the initial claim phone call (with me on the side to approve the claim) and all related claim paperwork. Like so many projects during the pandemic era, it took months, approx. 7+, from signing the contract to job start. In the end, the work was done well. GTHS's exterior work looks nice. Therese H. likes her new skylights and skylight solar-powered shades.

For an additional fee, he repaired a section of wall in one room as well. They also helped move some furniture to the center of the rooms. They used high quality paint; Kyle works directly with Sherwin Williams and was able to take our paint samples there to match the exact colors we wanted. He and his team were professional, clean, and efficient, and it was clear they took pride in their work. We are very pleased with the outcome of the job!

We had a great experience with Better Painting from start to finish. The initial meeting with…read moreAndrew was easy and ended with an estimate, so no waiting for days like other companies. He line itemed everything we requested and answered everything we asked. The price was very reasonable. Communication from him and the office for scheduling was great and responsive. They used an easy online system explaining the work and contract. Painters started just a couple weeks after we signed. It took several days to paint 6 rooms with a big basement including ceilings, trim, doors, and walls - it was a big job. They did minor patching with sand to match the original texture. Everything looks great, and I'm a discerning customer. No nickel and diming over small things. The workers were on time everyday and left by the work hours we requested (8am-5pm.) They were super friendly and happily addressed any small concerns we brought up. They explained the plan for the next day before they left so we could plan for locking up our cats. The team was quiet, polite, and never complained. Everything was cleaned up and put back together when they finished. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend them if you value a good team and ownership that stand behind their estimates and quality of work. The pictures show some of the work. The corner of the ceiling was damaged with big gaps between the walls. Not any more!

Spring 2025, Andrew (the owner) personally walked my property and videotaped our conversation as I…read moreshowed him exactly what needed to be repaired before painting. He was professional and personable, and I felt good about hiring him. Months later, his crew arrived seemingly unaware of the scope of the damage. They initially used materials riddled with large knots and cracks, had to redo the work, and when finished it looked great. I was satisfied. One year later, the siding is pulling away from the house and splitting. The work has failed. I have called, texted, left multiple voicemails, and sent Andrew photos of the damage -- always politely, never once raising my voice or making demands. Every message has been ignored. This is from a company whose website promises "satisfaction guaranteed." What disappoints me most isn't even the siding. It's this: a business owner who is warm and responsive when he wants your money, and then simply vanishes when something goes wrong. Andrew has the video of our original walkthrough. He knows what was agreed to. A simple phone call is all it would have taken to begin making this right. They say you never truly know a contractor until something goes wrong. Now I know. I'd encourage anyone considering this company to think carefully -- because the guarantee on his website is meaningless, and when you need him most, he won't pick up the phone.

Firstly, the painting technician, Tim, was prompt in his arrival, professional in his work, and very pleasant in our interactions. Tim possesses alot of knowledge on his craft and he takes it very seriously, and I appreciate his use of this knowledge to ensure my complete satisfaction with the work performed. Secondly, the original job was under insurance claim and only included the repair and painting of some ceiling damage in the livingroom and in the main bathroom, yet when I approached Tim about having two accent walls done, he immediately presented the request to the back-office team and together they made time to provide me the two accent walls in addition to the ceiling paintings. I appreciate their escalation of my request in order to provide same-day additional services and as a result I have two newly painted ceilings and two beautifully painted accents walls (one in the livingroom and one in the sittingroom). Thank You Sharon (in the back-office) and Thank You Tim (the painting technician) for all your efforts and excellent customer service.
